They did a thorough job diagnosing issues with my Tahoe and gave me options. I chose an engine replacement. During the replacement, they found other electrical issues which they replaced at their own expense. My old Tahoe now runs like new. I generally do not bother leaving reviews, but the experience really stood out here so I thought it was worth sharing. This was our first visit to Peosta Automotive, and the takeaway was simply appreciation for the time and effort Nick put into helping us identify and solve our issue. He spent time talking through the issue on the phone before we even decided to bring it in, and he took time in the shop to troubleshoot and determine what was actually wrong rather than guessing and trying a bunch of things and running a bill up. Great communication and honest service - kind-of rare to find a lot of times anymore!
I brought in my car to get a sound checked. Thought it was something more serious and found out it was something else. Got it fixed with the right parts and car has been driving fine since. Definitely have these guys give you another opinion if another spot doesn’t sound right!

Friendly and helpful. Was able to get an oil and filter change as well as an all around fluid level check before a road trip. Dropped the car off before work, and picked it up afterwards with the oil change complete.

We blew a boat trailer tire on Hwy 20. Our lug nut wrench wasn’t the right size?. Within 15 minutes Nick was in site and got us going again!! Amazing customer service!! Highly recommended!!
Highly Recommend if you are in need of Auto Service! I had a tire on my trailer blow out on the interstate and limped it into town to find Peosta Automotive. They didn't have the tire I needed, but went out of there way to go to Dubuque and get what I needed, returned and had my trailer fixed very quickly! Thank-you for making a bad situation for me turn into a pleasant experience. They were even VERY REASONABLY PRICED!! They deserve 10 STARS!!
We were coming from CO heading to WI and had an issue. Called around 1:00 pm on a Friday and they had the issue diagnosed and the part replaced by 2:30. (they replaced it in the parking lot to ensure it was done quickly) Couldn’t be more grateful for their flexibility and willingness.
