Inquiry on an USED eighth generation Honda Accord headlight assembly, quoted me $110. When asked why it was so expensive the salesman said “Well that’s the part you want isn’t it” like I was an idiot for not buying a used headlight for the price of a new one.Will never suggest or work with these people ever!

Ordered a door panel from Hawkeye for a Chevy Traverse. It was for the LTZ trim level and was really hard to find. When I saw the one they had on Car-Parts.com, I called to confirm they had it, and they were very friendly and helpful. They were very reasonably priced and even shipped it to Missouri for me. I received the door panel within a few days and it was in great shape. Great service and would recommend them to anyone. I will be using them next time I am looking for a certain part.
Another yard told me they had the taillight I needed, but then found it was damaged after they went to pull it. They contacted Hawkeye and found the correct part for me and the two yards worked together to get me the taillight shipped. Unfortunately the box got mixed up and I got shipped the wrong taillight, Hawkeye and Quandt worked together quickly to ship the correct one to my door step the next day and even sent a return slip to my doorstep to get their other taillight back to them. Great customer service from both yards! Thank you very much!
Be very careful giving them a credit card number. They won’t have the parts pulled. When you request to cancel an order they magically have them pulled. When you still want to cancel they threaten to charge a restock fee when 5 minutes ago they wern’t pull. When you say you will dispute with the credit card company they say “alright a&@hole” and hang up the phone. Not a company I will be calling again. Buyer be ware.
They guys at Haweye Auto Salvage put a motor in my sons car and was done in a week. There customer service was excellent. The gentleman took the time to go over all the work done and he pointed out things that could be addressed in the future..not motor related. There was a third party involved that bent both of us but this man went the extra mile to ensure the car was done correctly. I appreciated his honesty and integrity. I didn't get a run around or a bunch of B.S. and I would definitely do business here again!

I was with my dad when he paid these people 1500 bucks for an engine that is dead and does not work. Not they are being rude and will not warranty any of it and lied and even deny that we purchased it there. The Iowa department of revenue will be contacted as well due to this engine being a part of his work equipment and a tax write off. They won't provide a receipt since they said that the printer was broken and they would email one to him. They have a 30day warranty and its been 2weeks since it was purchased. BAD BAD PEOPLE .. Kenny is a complete drug addict by just looking at him. I will have everyone who know about this voice their opinion about this place...
I ordered a tail light assembly on Tuesday afternoon and it was on my porch the next evening. It worked perfectly and was $1000 less than what my dealership was going to charge!
Had to go get my own part and they didn't have directions to where those trucks were, but in the end the price was good and it saved me 3 days waiting on a dealer.
I have always had great luck getting good parts from here. Need to get more help for phones and a better phone service and answering machine as they are always too busy to answer the phone and it just rings-FOREVER!!
