$200 for labor is absolutely insane… especially when all the parts necessary were previously purchased by us, the client. Also, not disclosing your rates or being transparent is completely unfair and very poor customer service. If we are ever in a bind again, we rather stay stranded than deal with this business.
Don't go here. Dude on the phone is rude and shady. Wants $100 just to take a look at the trailer whose tire is flat. Avoid this place. Not professional whatsoever.
Waited 7 hours for a road service call. I know they were busy due to bad weather. Tech finally arrived and replaced a lower radiator hose on my Peterbilt. It was a simple piece of 3"dia. X 6"long. Bill was a bit excessive in my opinion. My issue was the very next day the hose came almost completely off, due to insufficient torque on the clamp. I was disappointed to say the least. Another coworker had a similar issue with his truck several moths earlier. I didn't realize it was the same business until later. Is it a pattern, I don't know. And can't say. I am under the impression that if you only plan to do business only once, you might as well take them for as much as you can.
my boyfriend and i were stranded on Christmas day, and we called up tony’s towing. he went above and beyond and did as much as he could in our situation to get to our destination safely. the driver was no nonsense, but helped in every way he possibly could on christmas day. thank you so much, we really appreciate it!!
Just called the company while being stuck on road after driving 12 hours. Guy was completely rude and short “what do you need” umm obviously a tow!? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Excellent service! A gentleman who works here (didn’t get his name) happened to see us at the gas station near by with a flat tire. He was off work and was about to head home but took the extra hour to help us get our flat tire off our car, take it back to his shop, fix it and bring it back to us. We can’t say thank you enough!!

While every business has the right to set its own rates, this pricing feels unjustified and not in line with standard market practices.
I strongly encourage others to ask for a price quote in advance and compare with other local shops before committing. we will never come back to this business for service. Their charging system is way far from being fair and reasonable.

Tony and his crew are great people. I had to get towed in after losing 2 tires on my truck, 4 in the afternoon, and I thought it would take hours, they had me in the shop by 6 that night, got the repairs fixed the next day and I was on the road by 11 am. The mechanic even took me back up the road and I was able to find my tires which saved me a bunch of money. Can't say enough good things about them. Thanks again
Went in for a wheel bearing quote was $350 which we approved, they called back 3 hours later saying total was $658 cause it had another issue which they did not call and get approval for, when I showed my frustration he simply replied are you sending EFS to driver or to him. Driver calls me after that they took his keys away and move the truck to a back location told him until we paid they would give keys back and proceeds to slam the door shut on drivers face, these guys are crooks please read there reviews before using them horrible business.
Yanked me out of the ice at pilot friendly people had to go to yard to pay. Lots of room to maneuver. Took about an hour to respond to call. No complaints no more info
I had called for a tow. I was then placed on hold in the middle of our conversation so he could answer someone else. Then, I got hung up on. I had called again and they came after 45 minutes and helped us which was great. But I got towed a total of three miles and had to pay $225. For three miles.
Stopped here to get a used tire on my semi trailer the tire they sold me was very expensive $300 the tire was very worn barley any tread on it I will never come here again and do not recommend it to anyone who drives semi I’m very dissatisfied with the price .I have enclosed photos of the tire they sold me total rip off !!!!!!!!!!! Do not come here if you have semi truck problems they will definitely overcharge you !!!!!
I confirmed a service call by phone after hours with an ETA of 2 hours. The representative for this business is a very unpleasant man who didn't seem at all interested in helping us get back on the road. I was just so happy to find help that I didn't care. I waited at his shop. Needless to say no one showed up. When I called back 2.5 hours later to ask if he was sending a service person I was treated very rudely. I guess when you're the only help around you don't have to be kind or even show up. The hard part was staying level headed while he foamed at the mouth.
Editing the following day: We got very friendly, professional and timely service from Hardin County Tire at a competitive price.
Slow leak in a tire with a lot of driving left to do. Pulled off the highway at a random spot and it was lucky their shop was right there. 20 minutes and an incredibly fair price later and I was back on my way. Love this place.
I cannot say enough great things about Michael from Tony's Tire Service in Williams Iowa. I own a HOTSHOT business and we were in a bit of a pickle and he took really good care of us. I would recommend it to anyone that needs emergency road side assistance and anything else that he does. Thank you sooo much Michael, I really appreciate it.
These guys are amazing! We blew a tire on our trailer about an hour north of Des Moines. I thought we were going to have to waste several hours by the time we went, got a tire and returned. Fortunately for us, we were only about 2 miles from Tony's; a place I'd never heard of and honestly didn't expect would even be able to help us. Man, they had a new tire mounted up and had us on our way in minutes. So friendly, and helpful. Next time I'm twelve hundred miles from home and happen to blow a tire, I sure hope there's another place like this one near by.
A tire on my Yukon started making noises and they got us in right away and we’re super friendly. Had us on the road in less than 30 minutes. Really friendly with reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Tony tire not a good service. everybody never come here it’s too high price he charge me $5000 only one side hub seal and market rate is $800 and here worker too rudely behavior and Not makes sense like customer and he,s not take a debit and credit card and here working only f
We were traveling through Iowa on I-35 when our car got sucked into the ditch on ice. Another towing company agreed to pull us out within an hour and after an hour and a half called us to let us know that we would need to find someone else because they needed to go to a different job. Traveling with 3 small kids while being stranded in an area where you don’t know anyone is hard and then to have that happen at nighttime made it worse. So after calling around, the guy who answered the phone (sorry I didn’t catch his name) made some calls and was able to find a guy to come in to help us out. After about an hour of waiting he showed up and we are extremely grateful! Incredible company moral and we would recommend you to anyone. Don’t take this the wrong way, we hope we don’t ever have to use your services again, so we Thank You from the bottom of our hearts!!! God bless your business.
The people at Tony's Tire, Truck and Towing are the best around! Sent a driver in late Friday afternoon for a blown tire on his trailer, found out the rim was bent as well when we got there. The team at Tony's had him fixed and on the road in less than 1 hour. If you are ever in need of service make this your destination to get it fixed!! Fair rates, fast service and great people, nothing more you could ask for!!!
We left this morning (the coldest day of the year so far) in our diesel Class A not knowing that we needed to put an anti-gel additive in with our fuel and the fuel filter gelled up allowing us to only go about 30 MPH. We stopped at the Flying Jay's off of the Williams exit and found this place! They took us right in, replaced our fuel filter and we are now golden to continue on with our trip south. We are new to diesel engines and learned a good lesson to add the additive before driving in below zero temperatures. The staff were friendly, treated us well and didn't charge us an arm and a leg for their service.
DO NOT USE THIS SHOP !!!!! They will reel you in and then sit on your repair to begin with... Then once they finally find the backyard mechanics to do the repair the bill will blow your mind!!!! I could have rebuilt the entire motor with new parts and it would have been less. The original estimate was 30% lower and believe me you will have no recourse to negotiate with the greed Michael has... All parts are escalated and the communication with these people is a joke. I would bet we called this shop a 100 times for an update and what a mess!! How can these people stay in business and have multiple locations? Maybe its just terrible management at the Williams, IA location but when we asked to move to another one of their shops they refused. Anyway much better options in this area so don’t get stuck having to deal with this utter lack of customer service and obvious price gouging !!
If you break down and need towed it's literally cost you $700.00. If you complain about the price they will only accept cash. It's highway robbery but that's to be expected out of these kinds of people. They made me drive 1 hour and half to get cash because he did not want to accept my credit card. There was no threat of not paying or disputing cards. The owners brother just didn't want to accept my credit card after I said I would give a bad review for charging me a weekend charge. They say they are open on weekends online though?
Service was good, excessively high priced $792.00 just for one camper tire! But what do you do when stranded.Technician that changed tire was super unfriendly & rude. Guy on phone was also rude when called to confirm.
Our car hauler got a flat while moving. The moving company quoted 3 hour wait to get help out. Tony’s fixed it in less than thirty minutes and had us on our way. So grateful we were able to get back on the road.
I can't say enough about this place.. we were broke down late on a Friday afternoon... Mike who answered the phone was so super friendly, helpful and kind. Tony's did the tow and had our motor home up and running by 2 pm Monday. Awesome! Nice job guys.
