I only sell to this yard I think it's the owner idk recall his name atm but I've sold like 5 cars to him gotton some lp tanks from their as well and he picked up my honda at casys so I think he's a fair good dude .

Took a trailer full of metal there yesterday. They used a big grabbing arm to unload it, which I was kinda worried about, but after seeing him unload 2 other guys before me and then doing my trailer. He is a very good operator! Didn't damage anything and was very careful!

On honest, family business . I'm working my way across Iowa deconstructing cell towers. Scrap copper is part of my payday. Other scrap yards were trying to ROB me. Thank the FATHER I found one good honest business in Iowa. Thanks guys.

Number two copper was at 3:30 a pound and clean brass yellow was at 220 a pound. They're always helpful there they got a good selection of used tires at a good price. I've never went away unhappy.

I asked them for a large dumpster and to remove 2 junk cars, needed this all gone in 10 days. They told me they were very busy and couldn't promise me that week, but would try and help me. They had the dumpster on my property in 48 hours I filled it called them to pick it up, all done in 6 days, great job Schafer's. Thank you

They say they have am item and then sell it right out from under a person. Not good business at all. If I could give them a zero I would!!!
