Drove 4 hours to get a transmission, told them year make and model and the type of transmission asked three times to make sure it was it was told it was and they had it there was not the correct transmission and they thought I didn't know what I had these clowns need to go to a different job they have no clue about cars at all
I've been coming up to Willie motes for a very very very very long time many years to get my parts on the 13th of April I drove up there to get a starter that I thought the issue was and it was not the issue I called to see about returning the item that was never used with my invoice and I was told that I was going to be charged a fee the gentleman I talked to was very rude when I asked to speak to the owner I was told know the owner has nothing to do with the business and he refused to allow me time to talk to the owner we will not be back
When I called in wanting a part for a vehicle the lady that answered the phone got really rude and nasty on the phone, and when she was confronted about it she hung up the phone on me… I will never do business with these people…. Very poor customer service… and I will let everyone know about the experience I had and will recommend people to other salvage yard and auto parts stores
Had a great experience with them! Line of communication was great, we communicated through email and text promptly sending pictures and info I needed! Parts were at a good price and they shipped to my house! Would definitely recommend and do business again!
I bought an 80k miles engine with paperwork, front, and rear doors (no rust )! from them for my 96 Chevy. On top of that by far the cleanest and friendly junkyard i ever been to. Thanks again!
Create a generic website so we can see at least what cars are on site. I've been looking for a good used engine splash shield for my 2014 tdi sportwagen, and no salvage yard does that. Be the 1st.
I bought a wiring harness for a 94 Camaro .. staff went above and beyond for me and price was awesome thank you... It's hopefully going to put a car back on the after it set for at least 10 years... And I also live in Florida... So they do have hard to find parts

So this happened tonight which is 11/24/2021. My boyfriend found me two tires. We have been looking for over a week and before that I ordered online and they took the payment but I’ve never received two tires. So my boyfriend and I left home right after work, and the two gentlemen and a lady at Willie Mote Auto Parks was ready to leave and go home or do their Thanksgiving with their loved ones, it was 5:00 on the dot. But two guys and the lady ( she had already emptied the drawer for the night); had not only let me use a card not cash, for two tires. I needed them so badly, my car was shocking going 15 mph. So a huge HUGE thank you!
If you need anything for you vehicle don't call in for help. I called at 11am. They said I'll put your number down and get back with you, and it's now almost 3 o'clock and Noone has contacted me.
Tried to return a part I cannot use because car is junk part is still n box I understand the restocking fee thats no issue ive had n emergency come up was told NOT TODAY YOUR NOTi have the invoice just called instead of just showing up a family emergency come up THANKS
I've buying cars here for nearly 15 years. It's a lot less expensive to buy a salvage vehicle and parts you need to repair it than it is to buy from a dealership. Engi es and transmission has been good in every car I've bought there.
Was searching for a specific part for my car and saw they had it listed online. I called, and they were able to confirm they had it, send pictures, and then ship it out the next day. 10/10 Hope to do business again!
Friendly place. Parts was ready to go when I got there. Made a 3 hour trip to get my part. They had what no one else did and at a very affordable price. Saved me $150.
I needed an electric steering motor for my 2010 Malibu as mine had gone out completely. The dealership wanted $700 for the part and another $600 to install it. I got the part from Willie Mote's for $65 and installed it in 3 hours. Steering now works better than ever. This place saved me over $1200! I Will definitely get parts from them again in the future.
I have called this place about 50 times. Everytime I've called the same guy answers. He tells me the same thing everytime I call. We don't have the part you need. I'll ask him if they have the car in the lot for the part I need. His answer is how would I know. Not sure why he hasn't been fired.
I have done business with Willie Mote for about 50 years. They have always been very helpful, and while they may not always have what you need they usually can tell you where to look. My husband use to restore cars and Willie Mote's was always the first place he would go. I don't recall ever asking for cash back so I am unable to say if they would do that, but if we got the wrong part they would always exchange or give us credit for the future. I would almost bet you those who gave a negative review got nasty with the service people there, and expected them to have something they didn't. It is a salvage yard, so they have no control of what is brought in to them. Inventory is based on what has been salvaged.. duh!
I love this place. They usually have what I need at fare prices & helpful friendly service. The owner is awesome. He handles things fairly, efficiently and kindly.
I read through some of the reviews and find them amussuing . Bottom line here is that you can't expect them to roll out the red carpet for everyone who thinks they are mechanics. Think about what these people have to deal with daily. I think they do a great service there, this is a junk yard ! Not NAPA. If you don't like the customer service,,,,, don't go there. Keep up the good work guys.
Bought a car from them many years ago. Was the best vehicle I ever had. Never any problems with it during the 5 years I had it. My father buys parts there a lot too and has no complaints. Friendly and helpful service.
There isn't a better place to find parts for older cars and trucks. I have been dealing with Ron and the Staff at Willie Mote's for over 30 years and the service has always been top notch. There are not many places that will take you out in the yard to make sure you get the part you need. Just great service and always a smile, can't beat them.
I would ignore the negative reviews people have posted previously I have purchased quite a few parts from Willie Motes including a used motor and I've never been let down. It is true sometimes the service is a little "dry" but as long as you know exactly what you need they are great!
