  Our 2017 F250 super duty was in need of a spare tire, Our local salvage yard didn't have a 18 inch steel rim, but they did give us the name of Car Recyclers in North Manchester, Indiana. I called, and told them exactly what I was looking for and let them know that I was 57 miles away from them. They said that they have what I needed but they will check visually and pull it up, then call me back. Within 15 minutes, they called me back and assured me that it would be wanting for me to pick it up. The people were up beat and positive, extremely friendly and helpful, My Young Beautiful Bride and I were extremely impressed with the service that we received, and I will definitely be referring other people to visit this place.

  great people and great prices! called yesterday afternoon needing a fender and headlight and they was ready for pickup this morning! they even went out of their way to pick up a small part for a different car while i was there. will absolutely be back. side note, any company with a live in kitty gets 5 stars in my book

  Found a part online, called and they didn't find the part in the computer, I gave them the online number and they found the part, pulles it same day and called me back. Told me they close at 5pm.. I told them I would have to come the following day. I arrived at 3:30pm to a locked gate and no answer on the phone???? Not a happy camper after a 2.5 hour drive. Did they close early for Friday?? Or forget to update me on the phone of different closing time on Friday?? Either way not happy so far... Updated online photos while there at gate

  Highly recommend. I needed a set of rims & tires, and I looked all over for a set. I couldn’t find anything that would fit my vehicle. One call to Kelly at Car Recyclers & he had a brand new set sitting there that would fit my truck perfectly. Priced right too. He even went as far as checking and double checking to make sure they would fit.

  Do your pricing research before buying off them. I am only giving them 2 stars because they had the part. Why would you pay more for a used part then you can buy one cheaper new.

  this place is a keep away!! I saw them charge an old lady with cancer $975 for a tow bill and 23 days storage (she was on disability and(,that's how long it took until her check came she only got 780 per month)they had no compassion GREED GREED plus theyonly towed it 2 miles sad bunch

  TL;DR version: Got a starter for wife's car for a third of the price of the auto parts store. Starter on my wife's Saturn died, so I bought one from Car Recyclers, based on a friend's recommendation. Got it back home, noticed a couple of teeth on the starter were chipped. I called them and asked if they could do anything about it, and they said they'd give me a refund. That right there is pretty good customer service policy, because it's a junkyard, so they don't have to offer a guarantee. We actually ended up doing an exchange. (The only difference was that one wire attached on a different part of the solenoid. The wire has enough stretch to make it.) The starter looks nearly new and works great. I'm happy with the part, and I'm VERY happy with the price!
