Amazing place... The guy who runs it is a pretty cool dude. I like how you can just pretty much walk in there. Unlike the other places in Evansville, you always need a vehicle, but if you have a scooter. Or you're walking. You can take smaller stuff in.
It was my first time getting cash for scrap metal, it was a great experience. I let the lady from customer service know it was my first time there and she guided me graciously.

I’ve always been treated with respect and that’s hard to find these days. Idk her name but the woman that works in the office is a sweetheart: after the 2nd visit they call me by my name.
Best people I’ve ever dealt with when it comes to scrap. They treat me with respect and their prices are better than the other scrap yards in town. I trust the Trockman’s with all my scrap and highly recommend them. Sam Trockman seems to always take care of me and I appreciate it.
This is a well-run scrap yard with fair pricing. I have been to many scrap yards over the years that will mislabel things I bring in to give me a lower price, this scrap yard did not attempt to do that with any of the items I brought.
I will never go to any other scrap yard they all fail in comparison to the people at trockmans. Fligetaub scales always round up or down not trockmans and its so much faster and easier than the mess they built
This place is a complete rip off. Took my stuff here because it’s closer to me than any others. But get a much bigger payout to drive across town to Fligeltaub. Never again.
