The most thoua pick apart yard we've ever been to , lots of friendly helpers, pull carts are a bonus, very clean and organized.. it's really pretty fun for even a girl!

The service was standard here. Just cut and dry. They asked me what I wanted, they had it, I bought it. No pleasantries, just business. Anywhere else, I would say the customer service was lacking but for a business like this... That's what you want. If you're a mechanic or just working on your own vehicle at home, all you want is to get what you need and get back to work under the hood. This place is all about that. They will also deliver your part for you. I'd recommend this place anytime.... If you want more interaction, wasted time, and a pat on the back, I'd go find another salvage yard

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. Whoever the older man is at the front desk with glasses and gray hair, he either really needs to be trained or fired. Came in to ask if they had a windshield pulled or not, had already checked that they had the vehicle on the lot via their website. Told him the year, make, and model of the vehicle on their lot and what I was looking for, he asks “new body or limited?” Well quite frankly the website doesn’t give that information so I told him I’m not sure, after getting snippy and repeating himself again, he then asks me for the VIN of the vehicle on his lot, which also isn’t available to me via their website. He then argues that “you would’ve had to select either of those to even find the part/car” and I stated, “no you do not, I can show you the exact process if you’d like” we then offer the stock number listed on the website, to which he finds the vehicle and says they “have it in the vehicle”, we ask if it’s been pulled or needs pulled, to which he gets an attitude once again stating “IN THE VEHICLE” which was very uncalled for, as that could mean many things including that it’s pulled and inside the car To have such an attitude and be so rude to potential customers, you should really know what you’re talking about before arguing something, and if you hate your job that much, freakin quit, retire, shut the business down (if the owner) I’m posting photos to show the exact screens, one by one, that the website runs you through when doing a parts search, to absolutely prove that it in fact does NOT ask you if it’s “new body or limited”

I have been doing business with this company for years. Nothing but great service and great parts. I love that they are family owned and operated. Great family

I was looking for a specific car part that Stan Lindy helped me source. The process to submit payment was a little difficult, but Stan made sure the part was shipped on time as promised. Whoever is responsible for shipping also deserves recognition, my mirror was wrapped in plastic, covered completely in shredded paper to protect it. The dismantler also made sure to cut the wiring on the correct side of the harness to allow potential use of disconnect. Overall impressed with the service, will buy again. It would be nice if the business improved the payment method with something more modern. By the way, I live several states away

Outstanding folks here. I needed a couple of hubcaps for my personal car and Glisson's was showing some on my locator. I reached out to Brent and received some of the best customer service I had ever had in my life. Great prices too, and fast shipping. This operation knows what they're doing, five stars all the way around.

Never again should be 0 star Ordered a wheel said was new had a used one set out so they got a new one out guy matched up , got back was wrong size , wanted to charge me a return fee when it was not my fault . Definitely don’t recommend after we originally ordered it the one we ordered was supposed to be new , we show up you had a used one set out , we told you we wanted a new one , your employees confused my employee , after we called about the mistake and asked to just return it was told a restock fee . It originally a mistake by your employees. Not worth driving an hour each way for $97 rim when I can buy a brand new one from Ford for $91 give me full credit for return and the rating will go up

I had the same experience as Eric hayden, the place wasn’t helpful at all. It’s way too overpriced for used parts and new parts. And the guys are extremely rude. Just not worth it at all rather go anywhere else from now on.

After driving 2.5 hours to get there part was broke up on getting there. It luckily still worked but would have liked to have known before driving 5 hours round trip.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! RUDE! 3 days of communication to pick up a part. Only to be told that at 3pm it was to late to pull a part after telling my mechanic they had 4 on the shelf. No pulling necessary!! Communication is key. You lost my business and the mechanic will never use you for parts either.

After calling and locating an available used engine for my 2018 Hyundai Sante Fe, I called back to possibly purchase, the OWNER asked who was going to swap engines. After telling him a technician two hours away from them (where I live) quoted doing job for me, owner offered to do the job at same price. He then reminded me that the 30 day warranty would be on part AND labor if they did the work. Since I’m 2 hrs away, this sounded like the wise thing to do. They required my credit card # so they could put in there labor line that would be 2 weeks. I did so and offered to bring car to them in a few days so they could readily begin when my turn came. They preferred my waiting till they called me since their parking was very limited. After keeping in touch with them as 2 weeks approached , they informed me that they didn’t even have there car to remove engine from. Then, after fourth week was approaching, they called saying it was removed and ready to pick up. I then asked when I could bring car to them. They were surprised about having to swap engines. I then got a call back saying that they didn’t have anyone there qualified to do so. Luckily for me local tech would still consider doing the job. I then traveled 4 hours(2 each way) to get engine. My local shop proceeded unloading engine on my arrival and noticed oil pan was damaged, not fresh, probably from car accident that it came from. I took and attached picture. They received my approval to use to good pan from engine being removed. (For additional labor cost) Approaching completion to finish job, my tech notified me that there were some hook up differences between engines. He then reviewed serial number from replacement engine. It came from a KIA , same type engine but i was not informed of this before buying or at time of purchase. This caused me more labor expenses. Before driving 4 more hours returning with engine core that i was initially charged for I called to report damage to oil pan ( part of the purchased engine) I was to by OWNER that no labor reimbursement was be considered. Bottom line….this was one of the worse purchasing practices I have ever experienced!

Well my friend order a window for my car on the first of September and Darren took her call, he took her card number over the phone and she told him that are wanted to go ahead and pay for the window! Well needless to say that he didn't run her card number to pay for the part, so I had to pay for the window and it took all the cash that I had in my pocket which really sucks!

Why does the guy answering the phone have to raise his voice and get obviously angry with me when I just want a price? Him: "without an engine I can only give you the labor costs" Me: "yeah, that's fine, just the labor" Him: long pause Me: finally "so can you tell me just a rough price" Him: " LIKE I SAID WITHOUT AN ENGINE I CAN ONLY GIVE YOU THE LABOR COSTS" Me: somber voice "yes that's fine just the labor" Him: "1200 dollars" HEY GLISSONS! Can you guess where IM NOT going to get an engine installed at? Three guesses and a hint is the company begins with a "G" and ends with an "S". _______ Several years later… Driving to Evansville today to get some parts from a salvage yard. guess who I did not even call to see who had parts? Begins with a G and ends with an S. I will never forget how rudely I was talked to.

I wouldn’t even give this company one star if I was able to. I specifically called for “I need both exhaust manifolds for a 2014 Hyundai Velositer.”The owner told me $150/each. I asked how much for shipping -the owner stated $40. They sent me a credit card form for verification on payment, description, and shipping. Since apparently there is only one exhaust manifold for this car instead of calling me and telling me there is only one - THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY ADDS $150 CORE CHARGE TO MY BILL TO KEEP THAT MONEY! As a business owner I would never do this- I am perplexed by the audacity this business owner decides to run his business by being a thief. I will NEVER do business with them again.

The absolute worst junk yard that I have ever used. Bought a used engine and was told that the engine had a broken oil pan. Sent a driver up there to get engine. When it was brought to the shop the bottom end of the engine was also broke. Called to get a refund or exchange was told they didn't have another engine and i could bring it back for a 20% restock fee. Very dishonest people and don't stand behind there products. DONT BUY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ladies please be careful when going to this place alone. They wanted to charge me 100 dollars for a used tire. Next day sent my husband inside w/o me and they sold it to him for 30 dollars. The tire wasn't even worth 30 dollars, but I needed it to move a car. Bad people that give Bad business.. stay away ladies!!!

Commited to buying an engine they had listed for sale on their website for 4500$ Engine was not yet removed from car but was considered running hence listed for sale. Waited three weeks until they started to pull the engine only to tell me that they found out it had a dead cylinder. This inspection should have been done prior to listing the engine for sale for 4500$ Now I'm out three weeks of time and have to hunt for another one somewhere else. This ls2 is hard to find. Poor business practice and my time wasted was not cheap....

Very shady business. Ordered a motor to fit my suv. They gave me the wrong motor ten days later and then charged me a $200 restock fee on a motor I never even accepted. It never left their lot. Very shady business. Salesman was very rude. Wouldn’t recommend them at all. They’ll take your money and give bad parts.

Called twice to verify they had part. Drove hours and told me I was at the wrong location. Went to other location and they told me they could sell me another part, but the part at the original that I verified was damaged. I politely asked why they didn't call and let me know before the drive. The answer I got was, you didn't talk to me. I called the original place got the run around never a apology, more of a its your fault. Asked for the owner to call back, never a return call. Unreal

I have been going to Glissons for over 18 years and have never had a bad experience. I recently went looking for 2 tires. They told me they didn't have a matching pair in their system for my size but lead myself and the Mrs. to the singles and said we had as long as we needed to look through what they did have. 20 minutes later, Bang! I found 2 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+. One had 7.5mm and the other 8mm of tread depth. Brand new they would have had 10mm and cost $188 ea. I got them for$20 each! Even after mounting and balancing I saved $420 over buying that same tire brand new!

Called one evening about a headliner for a 2015 chevy trax. Was very detailed about what I needed as I was 3 hours away. They confirmed they had had one, great be there in the morning. About one hour out I call to give notice that i will be there shortly to pick it up to hopefully speed up the process. Rude, no clue as to me coming nor did they have a good headliner. Can't rely on anyone to know what there doing

Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I called and asked Calvin ( who has been there a year) what time they close as I'm coming from 2 hrs away to pick up a motor and he said five. So I drive all the way up there to be told loading is closed at 430 and there is no way I can get loaded anymore until Monday! Needles to say I won't be doing business with them or recommending this place to anyone.

Bought a very dependable car from them almost a year ago. One more payment and I get the title. Only thing that I had to get done during the year we payed on it was oil changes and 2 front tires. They charged us 3100 I believe and I could sell it for 3000 no problem. They will be getting more business from me soon!
