Not open on the weekends now is completely unacceptable. What a terrible public service we have. Even 3rd world countries have dump access available on the weekend.
Waited in line for an hour while people cut in line to go thru the exit. When we needed to pay, some garbage man that worked there yelled at me to get out of line and go to the back. Which is BS because I'm the only one that waited patiently for my turn and now I have to get out of line and let the people who cut in line go first. Worst dump in Evansville. Mario is cool tho.
This place is truly awful. Of the 40 or so dumps I've been to in my life, This was the worst experience ever. No organization whatsoever and they tried to charge me an extra $100 because in order to reach their window, my tire was a few inches over the scale line
If I could give NEGATIVE stars - I would gladly do it!!! This trash service company is a total piece of TRASH!!! they left my trash without picking it SO MANY times! And they leave trash on the street after their truck passes. HORRIBLE!!!!!! UNEXCEPTABLE, AWFUL services.
Mario explains the costs, at the weigh-in station. The place to put trash is easily accessible. Getting the second weighing, making credit card payment is quick and easy. Recycle for aluminum and cardboard here as well. Good experience.
Pretty sad I have to pay more to dump trash out of my yard at almost 60 for a flat fee but when I had republic in my home state we only had to show a trash bill and could dump for free why is it not the same here I also paid less a month and trash was picked up twice a week yet here I pay more for less of a service and have to pay to dump
They are way over priced and they put fees on it that don't even concern them like a gas fee or environmental fee and stuff like that when you go so it is best to find a different place to go to get rid of your trash
We like to recycle as many items as we can. Laubscher permits us to do so easily. The drop-off entrance for recyclables is next to the McCutchanville Fire House just south of Mohr Road. I believe the hours are 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
They are over priced. Prices change everything billing cycle. Tons of hidden fees. Cancel service and they charge you $50 to pick up their own trash can. Would never recommend this company. Go with Larry Marshall Trash Service. They don't have hidden fees. It's a flat rate and thats it. Shouldn't cost $30 a month to dump trash 4 times.
We are Cleaning a room/house as my daughter moved in by the University of Evansville. We had misc furniture and an old mattress to dispose of. The Minimum dumping fee is $57.35 no matter what you are dumping. The address to the landfill is NOT what is listed on google or on their receipts. Directions are off of North St Joseph Ave. Pass Mayse Farmers Market, when you get to the 4 ways stop, the landfill is on the right. Nobody answers phones, horrible customer service.. but Mario at the entrance was very nice.. so help Mario out because he hasn’t been getting his pizzas delivered either!!
They need to update the website so you know if they are open on Saturday or not. A lot of people wasting gas and time to go there on Saturday morning just to find out they are closed.
This is not the place to dump. I live less then a mile from where and dump a lot went this one time to see what it was like. This was bad if I did not have 4 wheel drive I would have got stuck. Got to advanced disposal transfer station much better and easer.
I live very close to this landfill and there are times that you can not go outside because of the odor. I have tried to make contact with them with no luck. If this was a one time thing it could be overlooked but it's not. I know there is a review stating that it's not a problem but I question that review. I have made a couple of complaints with the EPA. I have spoken with a local news station and hopefully they will pi k up this story. I have also spoken with Evansville Solid Waste Commission. I will be talking with them on Monday.
I remember the good old days when my great-aunt Sally lived here. She befriended many raccoons here in the year of 2002. PS that's the same year she died. I understand why.
way overpriced.... prices start at $50/pickup load. Start is the operative word. No free lawn trash dropoff. Just go 10 miles to Booneville to Warrick County landfill and pay $6-$10 a pickup load. Free lawn trash.
Also they are very rude and are a monopoly. What this town needs is competition.
Who ever heard of a trash company that won't pick up over 1 can of trash for it's customers inside the city and force them to pay much much more & even haul it to the landfill themselves? Worst trash company I ever saw and I was a garbage man for some trash companies myself, both private & city owned which imo is what we need to start doing again.
We took everything the people had as to keep our city clean, even burn barrels for customers and most us guys even saved our elders from dragging cans to the street curb and we just did it for them if asked. Try that with these lazy bums, they won't pick up anything that they drop even, they just drive off so it all goes into streets/drains and so our streets flood, city looks terrible and stinks. This trash company absolutely sucks from corp on down as I've talked to most and they couldn't care less! Several don't live inside city even so don't care.
I know this for a fact too, many years ago Chandler Indiana did not have weekly trash pickup and only relied on people to haul trash to landfills which some did but so many didn't.
Because of the trash piling up from people who did not haul it off enough the whole town had cockroaches like most cities have ants. It was basically a landfill itself. We watched them crawl on the streets/sidewalks everywhere. Even got inside the cars! Yuuuck their so nasty to live with! But' it's worse now as most sprays won't kill them off anymore unless directly sprayed on them and drowns it so now they will stay around too once we are infested.
It's only a matter of time Evansville Indiana will be just like that too as many large families have more than 1-2 cans so it's piling up. People will change its nickname here from stoplight city to cockroach city you wait and see. Poorest people will not pay to haul it off either and will just leave it in alleys & empty lots. Regardless who's idea it was to only take 1-2 cans weekly it needs to be fixed asap as it was simply ignorant to do this. FIX IT!!
