Spoke with the woman with dispatch on the phone who told my there is 4 percent charge to process any card payment. I stated as a business that policy should be for credit card not debit cards. That's an illegal to charge the cusomer your card processing fee. She was rude and cancel my tow she yell "call someone else". And we will. Evansville need to get the stuff together. I owe 4 businesses one being a tow compnay. I will be report your at Indiana Attorney General Consumer Protection Division .Stop robbing the evansville people of their money .
Terrible company, with poor service. Manager confirmed “they will leave you stranded”. Ppl are just dollar signs. If this is your last option you are screwed. TERRIBLE COMPANY

Went with a friend to clean his van out after it had broken down and was towed by the city. The people in the office were incredibly rude and mean for absolutely no reason. Granted, this was back in 2012, but it seems that others are having the same experience to this day. It speaks volumes about the company's culture and how little they care about customers and people in our community, that they haven't tried to improve on that in almost a decade and a half. Horrible company, I'd give 0 stars if I could.
I cannot recommend Tri-State Towing and Recovery enough. I spent five hours unsuccessfully trying to load a compact truck with no driveshaft onto a U-Haul dolly. When I finally called for help, the service was beyond amazing. The gentleman who arrived didn’t just help me load the truck despite it being inoperable and me lacking a winch—he went completely above and beyond. He stayed to help me navigate out of a very tight backyard alley with a sharp turn that I couldn't clear on my own. We even had to unload everything, move the dolly by hand, and re-load it in the alley to ensure I wouldn't hit any fences or garages. He worked alongside me until everything was strapped down and I was safely on my way to get fuel. While the service was a bit pricey, it was worth every penny for the level of care and extra effort provided. This team truly cares about their customers.
I’ve had multiple vehicles towed with them for multiple different reasons lol, and these guys are top notch! There’s a reason you see them all over Evansville. Great people great service highly recommend them if you ever need a tow in the area!
Terrible company rude workers and not understanding this is the worst company ever and it sucks when apartments use them in the area as there tow company they towed a rental car I had at my old apartment which the front office knew I had I couldn’t get a visitor tag until Monday when someone was in the office I woke up to go to work the car was gone and the ma had a terrible attitude on the phone ruined my way of transportation with the insurance company it was a lot at the time after being in a wreck pregnant at that.
Really good people picked my car up placed it right in front of my house like it wasn't nothing very impressive before the tow when went over all scratches and little dings on my car and he wrote all of it down and when he placed it in front of my house we went over my car to make sure there wasn't any new damages very professional I would definitely use them again
I turned from theater drive with a yellow light and their tow truck driver pulled out in front of me to turn into Professional Transportation Inc. I had to practically slam on my brakes to stop a 5800lb nissan truck. I confronted the tow truck driver to see if he was okay and he accused me of excessively speeding when I just turned a 5800lb truck with a terrible turn radius and a terrible 0-60 of 7.8 seconds. How can a 5800lb truck hit 45mph, which is what the hotline lady is accusing me of, in 0.3 miles. Stop pointing blame and take blame for yourself. Show the dashcam! Because I would love to see if I am in the wrong! I also had my headlights on. 11/8/2025 at around 4:50pm.
Very rude and disrespectful woman working the phone trying to just get my 2 children's car seats and I just got the car before it was towed. Children have nothing to do with the stuff and it's just car seats. Rediculous.
The lady working the front was very rude. My husband lost his license and we just got the vehicle and they won't let me just have my children's car seats out of the vehicle while we get the money to get it out. Very rude woman working not very helpful with people with children. Car seats should be something they should freely let go of for children that couldn't have anything to do with the vehicle there.i just want my children car seats please
I needed to have a tire change at 9:30 p.m. while I was about 1 hour away from home. I called these guys and they answered quickly and helped me quickly as well as they had all the tools necessary to do the job. I would recommend this service to anyone.
If I could give zero stars, I would. My stepfather tragically passed away yesterday. His vehicle was recovered by this towing company after the accident. Instead of showing any semblance of compassion or respect for the gravity of the situation, the person who towed the vehicle, Franklin Hammond, posted multiple photos on Facebook of it - with himself smiling with his mother in one of them. Let that sink in. A family is devastated, grieving an unimaginable loss, and this man saw an opportunity to treat it like a photo op. There was no consent, no regard for the emotional trauma this might cause, and certainly no professionalism. This kind of behavior is disgusting, exploitative, and COMPLETELY inappropriate. If you value integrity, basic human decency, and professionalism, I would strongly advise against supporting this business.
Rick took care of us at 2:30am on a Saturday night. He was professional and personable - even bringing some humor into our stressful evening. I highly recommend using them for service. Fair pricing also!
I had a very disappointing experience with Tri-State Towing, as Justice and Kyle not only refused to resolve my issue professionally but also tried to escalate the situation by arguing with me over a misunderstanding. Their behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable, and I felt disrespected and unsafe during the encounter. I would not recommend their services based on this negative experience.
David was my dispatcher he handled the call quickly and professionally he called me back to let me know that my driver was in route and with an ETA my driver and I’m sorry I don’t have his name was very professional very courteous very quick if I could give this company a higher rating I would and I would definitely recommend them. They were very fair. The other company I called wanted over $500 to tow my truck about 12 miles or less, which is ridiculous.
I had to use them after a wreck. They towed to their lot which later was towed to the body shop. After the body shop was done I went to pick up my truck. Noticed there was more damage not caused by the accident but by the tow driver. I contacted them and they denied responsibility and refused to help fix the damage. The workers were very unprofessional and the owner was very rude. I do not recommend this towing company I would use a different one if you could. Or take as many pics before and after they take your vehicle.
Billed me for 4 hrs bc they brought too small of a tow truck to pull out heavy equipment. Even worse, they attached their winch to the middle of the axle. Which is now bent and is going to cost thousands to replace, plus the tire that blew due to the bent axle
Excellent. Wonderful customer service from the phone to being pulled out of mud. Grateful they had 24 hour service. Got to Newburgh in about 30-40 minutes and pulled out in no time navigating a mess. Professional and expert on pulling my vehicle out. Woman who took the call handled everything well. They actually care about safety.
Chris young man was so nice and extremely helpful . He said I value my job and I love it, he’s 30 years old. You don’t find that often in today’s generation. He’s definitely an asset to the company.
Danny showed up in a timely manner after hours. He was professional and didn't take hardly anytime recovering my vehicle and rigging it. He was also personable on the ride to my house. He then dropped my truck exactly where I wanted it. I will call them for all my towing needs!
I recommend avoiding this place at all costs. I wish I could give it no stars. I went In here today to gather my belongings from my car after it had been totaled in an accident 2 mornings ago. People are hurting and grieving in situations like this & the costumer service I received this morning was horrific.. there were multiple people behind the counter I walked in & wasn’t acknowledged for 10 minutes I had small children waiting in my sisters car because clearly I had no transportation of my own due to my car being in their yard. I proceeded to walk to the glass & ask for help & I was oh so very rudely prompted by a lady with glasses she raised her voice at me very aggressively & told me she had other people and things to do and asked me why I was there mind you I’m already in almost tears dealing with the loss of my car & ptsd from the accident & this lady is just being so rude & mean to me.. she justifies her behavior by stating she has 20 million things to do & one of them was which she was dealing with law enforcement. While there is 4 others & a child in this office with her behind the counter. I work with people too & I know things get tough sometimes but as humans let’s not forget to give other humans respect & kindness you don’t know what someone is dealing with.. this company needs better employees that can handle their job & work as a team. The experience was very traumatic.
Towed my truck the wrong way up to a Wisconsin shop, payed them over $3500 and this is the damage that happened. Wasn’t even man enough to own up to doing it and it’s a $350 part. 10 times what I paid you guys. Poor business. Everybody with a brain knows you gotta tow a truck a certain way, educate your workers.
Only reason I’m commenting so late is my mechanic just pissed me off joking about how somebody towed it the wrong way, and he had no knowledge of it even being towed. Just shows you how even mechanics know how it happened.
Wonderful service all around. Receptionist was polite and very helpful. Derek, the tow truck driver was very helpful and professional as well. He called to ask about the status of my truck and even offered some advice. What a great experience.

My dad's '46 hot rod broke down on the side of the road today & we needed a towing company that had a flatbed to tow it because it sits too low to be towed any other way. We called several places before we found one that could do it. Rick was the driver that showed up & he did an awesome job getting it up onto the flatbed without scraping it at all. I was particularly impressed since he wasn't expecting a Hot Rod when he came, dispatch didn't tell him anything (we'd told them when we called that the truck was really low), & he jumped right in & figured out how to get it on the bed without the boards he would have normally used for this. He was also very nice, which made the whole stressful experience a lot better. Rick's a good guy, he deserves a raise.
