I hope I have the right D1! We called D1 as they were headed to another job on a really cold snowy night — we were stuck on the side of 65. They were too slammed that night but then appeared like Robin Hood on the side of the road to size up the problem! They were so kind and called another towing company (Paul’s) to come out to rescue us. Had D1 not stopped by out of the blue we would have probably been waiting for many many hours. Paul’s arrived shortly after. Thank you so much for being good samaritans and connecting us with Paul’s!!
Excellent Service, fair prices.
Tow truck driver Jeff was polite, courteous, professional and knowledgeable, and did an amazing job of transporting my semi 75 miles to the repair shop across the busiest segment of US Hwy 30.
Ladies in the office were very accomodating in regards to a combination of various payment methods used to pay for services.
There is a 3.5 % convenience fee for using debit or credit card.
We hit a snag when it looked for a moment that I couldn't make payment in full due to having miscalculated how much money I had left in the Tchek, and bill having come to extra $250, due to the extra time in transit stemming from traffic delays, as they charge $250 per hour plus $150 fuel surcharge.
I was told that they will instruct the driver to tow my truck back 140 miles to their terminal. Fortunately I was able to secure an alternative method of payment, paid in full, and got my truck fixed.
I had gotten a flat tire on a Friday night so I stopped by D-1 Trucking on a Saturday morning to see if they worked on cars tires. I was so lucky to run into an employee that was able to fix my tire on a Saturday morning last minute. He was very nice and said that he was happy to fix it so I could get back on my way. I will be happy to use them for future car needs/repairs.
Worse company service. they canceled the service my insurance company placed, never communicate it to the insurance company when I called them I found out. if you’re looking for an incompetent service this is the one
We fulltime RV and summer in Medaryville. We had some unusual ware on our rear tiresome our 39ft Winnebago pull behind. They packed the bearings and installed new Goodyears on it for a reasonable price. Dave was the tech. D-1 employees are nice and on the ball. We're now all ready for our trip to Lake Havasu City AZ next month. Thanks D-1. We will be back.
I was stranded on my way home and decided to give this place a call at 130 in the morning as other tow companies in the area were not open or answering. Brandi spoke very kind to me when I requested a quote and answered my call at that late of a time. They were quick! I also had a comfortable ride to my destination with my vehicle in tow with the tow truck driver, Mr. Austin, whom was ever so kind as well and made my 2 hour trip go by so fast. It really felt like a 45 min drive. I highly would recommend them and if ever I need a tow in the area, I would return back to them graciously! Thank you D-1!! Thank you for bringing me and our Chevy Silverado home safely!
D-1 came to our rescue when we were stranded along the Interstate 65 with a flate tire on our trailer. We waited for 2 hours for another service to come, then called D-1, and they came right away, finding us by using our correspondence. They are awesome! Thank you D-1!
Being stuck in the snow during a blizzard with a 6 month old is so scary and it was not on my agenda. I called and talked with Mel. She was able to get trucks headed our direction in 30 minutes! Our family is so incredibly thankful for this hardworking group of people.

These guys are phenomenal! So nice , very professional and kind. They hauled our Chevy 2500 and our 33 foot Travel trailer. They followed us around 65 miles from our campsite to our home! They could not have made an unpleasant situation any easier. We are so thankful for them!!
Matt is very honest, punctual, and accommodating. You can tell he is a hard working individual and takes pride in his job. Definitely A-team material in my book. His rig is pretty clean too!
Had two heavy wreckers unload a burned up excavator off my truck at a yard in Winimac Indiana and all went smooth. They took my advice on how we chained to load and I believe the owner was one operator and even tipped me for giving them a hand on the rigging. I’d go out of my way to help these guys if I needed and was able. Can’t imagine working there would suck either. Great company
5 star. My son needed towed after he lost a ball joint on o Friday night they got right to it loaded and unloaded with no additional damage . Took it to Lafayette and gave him.a ride home. Fee was reasonable for all of this and the job was superb
Way over priced for a 4.2 mile tow! Would not recommend them for anything! Ordered parts for my truck without contacting me first. Call Ray and Wallys or anyone else
Called for a simple tow. 16 miles away from where I needed to be. Price gouging at its finest. Over $1200. Was told it took long because of drive shaft. Tow man had to call someone else to be told how to drop drive shaft but I had to pay for it. Total time should have taken lest then 2 hours maybe 3 tops but 5 hours for my situation was nothing but b.s
