I had a great experience with this company. I can't remember the guys name that picked me up (bobbie) or some name like that. It was less than I was expecting as well. Would break down again just to use these guys again.
These guy's were definitely a class act. Got to us in good time we're very friendly and helpful. Ive been a mechanic my whole life and have worked on the side of the road. I know the frustrations to it. They did great. The only thing I would like to see them change is there capability to mount and dismount a tire on the road. Most new cars don't have spare tires. I think it would be beneficial for them as well as the customer. Ive done 100s of tires on the road. Mostly semi but yes some cars. Other than that 100% 10 stars from me
Once advised by AAA that Ohio Valley Towing was going to give me a tow, within 5 minutes, Damien contacted me and told me he was on the way! He arrived in a shorter time than anticipated! He had the equipment necessary to tow my Mini Cooper Clubman and went right to work getting it safely and securely loaded! He was obviously a professional and experienced at what he does! On the drive to the designated drop off location, he and I enjoyed our conversation. Once at the drop off location, Damien once again showed his professionalism by ensuring that my vehicle was safely unloaded and placed where technicians could fix the problem. Finally - since it was very late and I would have to find accommodations for the evening, Damien made certain that I had made arrangements for a place to stay the night and insisted that he would make sure that I got to that place! I appreciated his concern and his help in getting me to the hotel where I would be staying! To be certain, he went the extra mile to ensure I was safe and that is much appreciated!
Ohio Valley Towing came to my location and had spare tire on within 25 minutes of my initial call. They even had to add air to the spare. Amazing response time!

I was out of town on Easter Sunday and was able to call and get immediate assistance. The driver Damion was very professional and did a great job for me.
Locked my keys in the car at the gas pump at circle s in st Croix. They arrived in 15-20 min only took less than 10 min. To take pictures and unlock car.
My car had broke down at the local library and wouldn't start. They sent a technician out to do a start with a battery box. They had me follow them to their shop they put a new battery in and didn't even charge me for the jump. Great service Ohio Valley Towing
I just wanted to shout out John Smith I believe his name was. The guy with the glasses. He was probably the best tow truck guy I've ever met. Me and a friend was coming back from Evansville, IN from a job site we was doing for WIS International and well my friend was very tired and I was asleep in the passenger. Next thing I know we was in a ditch and we had this fella come and help us get out of the ditch which we're very grateful for. But then we needed a tow back to Bowling Green, KY and the only one who took on the job was John. He was literally the best person ever. He towed us from Rio, Indiana all the way back to Bowling Green, KY which was like a hour and half drive. Was very social and even helped me find some tow services down in my area that were hiring. Plus he helped my friend with some free knowledge. Overall I'd say he's probably the best tow truck guy ever and I hope he sees this review.

(man of the 2nd hour)seeing how John went out of his way to bring me home as well as my vehicle that was two hours away, might I mention I live in completely different state too. John went above and beyond! Thanks again, brother! You are cut from a different cloth!

All i can say is wow! Locked both sets of keys in car on a snowy snowy morning. They came had it unlocked within 10 min. They are a life saver. God Bless You sir for getting out on the snowy roads to unlock our equinox. Would definitely recommend to ALL .
I had very poor experience waited to see if someone would reach out other than to say bring truck back so they can fix it really just apologize at least but got nothing took truck in for mount and balance of 4 tires and 4 control arms and was not gonna even put a review but after getting truck back for a the second time and how nothing is done right I left a repair book with control arms with specs of each suspension bolt well first time I got truck back one nut was hardly on one was not at all break fluid cap was gone so I’m thinking they have to realign it but I got nothing saying they did the spec sheet from first time I guess they assume you trust them not to mention was most expensive alignment they fixed a break line to but will post pics with it I have been troubled enough with this I shouldn’t have to call and ask why I have to redo everything when it’s bolts holding fender on you don’t need to tighten them to spec but when it’s my wheels and suspension it’s not something to call good and tight I just went to take wheels off and they are way over tightened which is just as unsafe as leaving them loose not to mention the next mechanic hates you for it this one just happened to be the owner at very least I hope you change ur training when working with wheels and suspension components must be to spec if mine was done you would not have put my life at risk
Hands down the best towing service I’ve ever come across. We were just beginning our week long vacation at the state park when our truck decided to stop shifting. We were halfway stuck in our campsite with very few options. Ohio Valley Towing out of Tell City came through like you wouldn’t believe. This guy John Smith was an amazing driver, he made a few calls and was able to secure me a taxi when my outlook was quite bleak. He made all efforts to get my family a rental car so we didn’t miss our planned Holiday World trip in the early am. I really can’t imagine what would’ve happened if John wasn’t our driver but I’m sure glad he was there to save the day.#notallheroswearcapes Also, the mechanics at the shop knew we had a strict timeline and they didn’t disappoint. They did a great job squeezing the truck in and completing the work. I was expecting a much higher bill, they do honest work at very competitive prices. Look out local competitors, these guys are doing it right.
Called for towing service and had towing service within 40 minutes! Michael was so helpful & knowledgeable. He definitely went above & beyond when dealing with my vehicle. I highly recommend Ohio Valley Towing located in Tell City, IN for all your towing needs. And having Michael as the driver is an added bonus!
Blew a head gasket while vacationing and John was amazing! Went above and beyond…towed all of us all the way home and was super friendly and kind. Definitely the sunshine of our yuck situation! I’ll be saving this info just in case we ever need anything again!!!
We were almost 4 hours away from home when our van broke down on the interstate. Robbie went out of his way to get a truck that would hold my husband, our two kids and I to tow our van to a hotel. It was late and our kids were a little nervous, but Robbie included them in the towing process and made it so fun for them! Truly a guardian angel sent to us on a stressful night. 10/10 recommend!! Stranded in Tell City with a broken wheel bearing and needing to get to Maceo. Ohio valley wasted no time. They had the rollback picking me up in less than 20 minutes and the price was very reasonable.
We have a small farm in Perry County. My wife was driving because my leg is broke. I was looking up the side window of our van, telling her to back on up. She got off the gravel and we were stuck! Chase came out with a tow truck and winch just forward 10 feet back onto the gravel! He did an excellent job. He knew exactly where to hook onto the van and had us out in about five minutes! I would definitely recommend this service. We had called AAA and they called Ohio Valley towing. Luckily, Chase was our tow truck driver and was awesome! Thank you. Chase for coming to work that night.
