Something metal was dragging under my car when I was on my way to town with my 2 kids.. I didn’t know what to do so I pulled to Sturgis to see if they could help me out and they got to me right away. Checked my car and aired my tires for free. So thankful it was nothing serious. Very helpful and professional. I will be going to them again!
Been going here since I moved to Bloomington for taking care of all of my car issues. These guys are the best. I've been to other places to have issues diagnosed before I got pointed here and it was always ridiculously expensive, obtuse, or downright suspicious. I've never once had that feeling when I took my car to have Jason and the crew look at it. They've pointed out better fixes for issues I've had that other places would have charged me an arm and a leg for. They have always been upfront and fair with their prices, and being in the business have been great about pointing out the BS of what other places would normally try to claim and pull on you, even going as far as to lay out and explain the problems that your vehicle is having in ways that are easier to understand for people who don't have the background. Great people and service all-around.

I own a 2008 Cadillac CTS. It was jerking when I went uphill. Three other places said I probably need a new transmission. Sturgis said they thought I might just need a tuneup. They put in new spark plugs which fixed the problem and saved me thousands of dollars. I will definitely use them again.
This is the place where the locals go to get their cars worked on and I now know why. My Honda Element has a really difficult starter to replace and these guys did it quick and for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for good mechanics charging fair prices.
The service is great. If they can't help, they will tell you who can and help you get in touch with them. They are always professional, courteous and reliable.

I had a puddle of transmission fluid under the front of my car & there was none left on the dipstick. I had it towed to Sturgis, fearing the worst. The guys there were great, worked me into their schedule and got to it in a matter of days. Turns out it was just a loose cooling line (sorry, I'm not a mechanic so I don't know what it's called). Sammi called me to let me know it was fixed & ready to go. They came highly recommended by several of my friends. They even take care of the USPS Mail cars, so you know they're good. Can't thank them enough for getting me back on the road so quickly, and setting my mind at ease.
I've had my old explorer for 12 years now it's no prize anymore but we've been through alot so it has sentimental value and always ran great when I could actually get it started. I spent 6 months trying to get it diagnosed, Jerry's diagnostics wouldn't get off their butts and even look at it for 3 months,TNW Automotive did nothing but try to take advantage in every way and couldn't diagnose it properly. (DON'T EVER GO TO THEM) I racked up $400in towe fees and was beginning to lose hope, I couldn't believe the service I was getting. It seemed I was gonna have to just junk a good truck due to it being just so intimidating to everyone so I tried one last garage STURGIS and they accomplished what everyone else couldn't and was so afraid of. Thanks so much guys, guess there is still hope in the automotive industry after all.
Did an incredible job with my car. Had some transmission issues and they were able to diagnose and fix it within a day at a price much lower than I had anticipated. Also very friendly people. If I ever have car troubles again I’m going back to Sturgis.
Questionable management / ownership. Aggressive with staff and customers in front of other customers. I'm pretty sure the manager was wasted when I stopped in. I didn't stay for service after what I witnessed...I wouldn't wish that upon any other possible customers either. Save yourself the experience and just call someone else.
They did what they said they were gonna do, when they said they were gonna do it and at the price they said they were gonna do it for. They’ll get my business again.
Super friendly people. They towed my car after a wreck. Wrecker arrived quickly and they were easy to contact afterwards. Insurance ended up totaling my car, but Sturgis was very friendly and helpful for working with me to unload the contents of the car and get it turned over to insurance.
Had them fix a seal on a axle and check my valves for a ticking. When I got it back they obviously had a rookie work on it cause when they put my valve cover back on they didn't reconnect my transmission control cable so my truck wouldn't chang gears correctly and they reversed the windshield cleaner pump tubes so my front and rear windshield wiper fluid came out the wrong ends. Front wipers would move while fluid came out the back and vice versa.
