Got stuck in the snow. Couldn’t get out because of ice. 10/10 above and beyond service. Very nice. The driver was very friendly and explained everything in detail. It made the situation a lot less traumatic. Didn’t get his name, but thank you dude.
Needed a tow to get a tire replaced (no spare). Ken’s is who I got thru my roadside assistance plan. Luckily they were prompt & got me to Neal tire in Ellettsville quickly. Very happy with the service
Car was having issues. Had my car towed by Ken's Westside Service & Towing. They arrived quickly, loaded up my car, and delivered it to the destination requested. Driver was friendly and helpful.
They were quick to show up after the initial call. The driver was really professional and had me out of my jam quickly. The price was cheaper than I thought it would be too.
I was stuck out in the middle of nowhere needing a winch out. When I first needed the winch out I was only about 10’ off the road. My insurance company called another tow company. The first tow truck got stuck and had to be winched out and never made it to me. They finally sent two more tow trucks. One had bald tires and neither one could winch me out. By this time, I had been out there for about 6 hours. The tow company tried to turn my vehicle around. Instead, they got it farther down and I ended up 210’ from the road. They decided to give me a ride home. I contacted my insurance company and the sent Ken’s Westside. They came to my house to pickup the keys. The driver went out and not only winched my vehicle out, but towed it home. I knew with all the snow, I wouldn’t be able to drive it back home on those roads. They were very professional and I was very pleased with the service. I can’t thank them enough for their expertise. I will always use them now and let others know to use Ken’s Westside. The picture is where the first tow company got my vehicle 110’ out and made the situation worse.
My daughter's car broke down in the turn lane on 46 and Hunter Valley Rd so we had to have it towed. Drive showed up fairly quickly, got her car loaded up and dropped off(even backing down a long driveway) and unloaded her car, parking it straight in the spot. He was professional and timely and did an overall great job! Wish I could remember his name but it was several weeks ago. Keep up the great work!
Got an estimate to pull my vehicle to my driveway from my yard. I am local to their service company. Need pulled about 200 feet. Their estimate was $200. $1 a foot. Really??? They don't deserve a 1 out 5.
Worked with Ken's through Geico's ERS to get my car towed and they were great the whole time. The driver what very kind and answered all my questions. We ran into a few hiccups along the way, but he expertly handled everything. (I wish I remembered the driver's name so I could commend him directly!)

A couple weeks ago, Christian - a Ken's Westside Towing driver - went to extraordinary lengths over the course of more than an hour to help my friend and I and keep us safe when we were having road trouble. Ever since, we've been telling everyone about the experience.
Received a free tow through my Progressive roadside assistance from my apartment in Bloomington, Indiana to an auto repair shop in Ellettsville, Indiana. Great service! Angie from Ken's Westside Service and towing called me to let me know the tow truck driver was running a little late, and I really appreciated that. He still arrived quickly, maybe 1 hour, was very good at his job/professional and got my vehicle to Ellettsville safely for the repair. Thank you SO much, Ken's Westside Service and towing! i know nothing about cars and everyone was super helpful explaining everything to me. my tow came in 25 minutes and then they worked on my car at the same place and finished within 3 days. thanks guys!
The tow driver arrived within 30 minutes as stated and the service was at a reasonable price, especially considering the tow was done around midnight. Would highly recommend Ken's.
He showed up on time — early, actually — and did a quick, thorough job of connecting our car to the truck and towing it to the collision center. Very knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend.

Fixed me up when I was in a pinch. I was up here from Alabama and my truck was acting up. Stopped by Ken's with no appointment and they were able to get me back on the road in a couple hours. Reasonable price, consulted with me every step of the way with common sense. Good experience. Thanks Joe and to the mechanic that did the work!
We paid for our vehicle to be picked up Sunday night. We had it parked at a mechanic shop, but we received no service from the mechanic. They would not pick up the vehicle since it was parked at a shop and they would need to verify with the mechanic that it didn't have an outstanding bill. They rescheduled for Monday morning. That should have been a cheaper tow, because it was during normal business hours. Come to find out, the company that contracted Ken's said they should have still picked up the vehicle since the keys were in the vehicle.
There is something about being charged $83 to pay $2400 that bothers me. And, when the less-than-friendly man told me that 'they' should have told me upfront there would be a charge to use a credit card, he apparently didn't realize that HE was 'they'. He was the only person I'd talked to. I won't be back.
I had taken my son to the emergency room. And when I went to restart my vehicle, the battery was dead. Kens came quickly and got me going so that I could get back home.
Got a tow from here tonight (25.8.25) via insurance roadside assistance. ETA was 25-55 minutes. Driver called in 15 minutes and gave an updated ETA of another 15 minutes (putting him arriving approximately 30 minutes from original request. Well within the time frame). Arrived and began photoing the vehicle and then loaded it onto the flat bed. Only issue with the driver upon arrival was his choice of divisive head covering. Upon leaving and heading to our destination, driver proceeded to accelerate to 5 miles per hour over the posted speed limit of 70 mph. I too normally look at 5 over as no big deal. It is however a different story when you're hauling someone else's only means of transportation around. That's my livelihood being held down to the back of your truck with some straps and chains my guy. Please, drive the speed limit. Then when he continued to drive 75 mph, even after the speed limit dropped to 65, I truly took issue. We had previously advised the driver that our neighborhood is on a hill with one road on either side and houses in the middle. If he took the road to the right going up the hill, on his way back down, he would have been able to easily back into our driveway as it is at an odd angle. He failed to follow our advise and as such, ended up having to make about a 20 point turn before being able to successfully enter our drive way. Over all, decent tow, but the management of the company should probably have a talk with their employees about some kind of dress code whilst on the clock and remind them that the speed limit is the LIMIT...
The driver Chris Flynn was great in a bad situation. Great communication once dispatched on his ETA. Quick and efficient. Drop off to get my tire replaced was great. Great service overall!
On 4/10/25, I had an issue with my 2013 Toyota Tundra in Bloomington, IN, and called Ken’s Westside Services & Towing. From the moment they arrived, the experience was top-notch. The tow driver was courteous, professional, and handled everything with care. The service was prompt, the price was reasonable, and they delivered exactly what they promised. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again if needed. Highly recommend!
When I decided to call a tow truck it's because I'd made it pretty bad first. Called Ken's and a young man named Chris was send out, he was very kind and respectful. Again I had made a pretty good mess of it and he needed another truck to anchor his truck so Kevin was sent out. Kevin was also very nice and respectful and anyway they were able to get my truck out and even though Chris was there in the cold for over 2 hours he never once was anything but kind.
Would highly recommend Ken's to anyone needing a tow or mechanic work.
It took less than an hour for a driver to arrive to my home in Bloomfield. Driver, who’s name I didn’t get was super nice and took no time to get my vehicle loaded. My car was safely delivered to its destination in Morgantown. Thanks!
Exceptional service in and extraordinary circumstance. A horrible storm caused a tree to fall in my path. My car was IN in the tree. Matt assessed the situation by phone/photos to help determine our best course. It took him 2 hours of winching up the SUV and help from neighbors to chainsaw the tree out from under our car. He was professional, practical, communicated well. The storm caused county wide chaos. He stayed focused, had safety awareness the entire time and assessed the cars drivability after we got it to a safer location so we could make the best plan during a high needs storm where emergency resources were in high demand. Highly recommend!
