Extremely honest and kind owner. I went there to ask for a rim as the other place suggested me to change it for 300+. He looked into it and recommended I might not need to change. Gave me recommendation to a mechanic and a bunch of advices in how to maintain my car. Ended up saving lots of money. Thank you!

A little pricey and the part they pulled was kinda scratched up. Wait until you can see what it looks like in person before you pay, even if they try to get you to pay for it over the phone beforehand.
I needed a back side window to my minivan after someone broke mine out. A glass place wanted $670 to replace it. He found me one for $160 then I paid 150 at a glass place for professional install. Saved me more then half. Thank you. This mom of 5 appreciates your hard work to find what I needed.
Used to come to this place for used auto parts once in awhile as a kid anyways I figured I'd leave a comment here to tell him that it's a good junkyard and the people are friendly
Called 7/5 to see about getting a car junked, no answer. 20min later Chuck called back saying they were closed for the holiday, would come by the next day to look at the car since we're less than 0.5mi away
Gets to be 2pm next day, no word. So I call - Chuck says "well I'm busy until 5p so I'll come out after that, don't give up on me"
I wait, nobody comes. I wait another 2 days, no contact. I text again to set up a time to have the vehicle looked at, no word
Looking at these other reviews, seems that Chuck has a history of being unreliable. I'd advise anyone else to avoid wasting your time and contact someone else to junk a car
Of all the Junkyards in and around Bloomington IN this one is the worst. The prices are high and the employees are rude.
But if you can get past the outrageous cost and scoffing workers, they do have a good variety.
If you like dealing with shady people Chuck is your guy, I was in here on Monday and needed 2 OEM wheels for my son’s car I just bought mind you I drove from Linton to Bloomington two days in a row. He said he would sell me 2 used ones for 150.00 a piece with tax it was 321.00, and I had to bring him my other 2 wheels as core exchange. But he had to get the other wheel at his other junkyard and would have them ready for me in the morning. So I get there this morning after 8:30 and another guy was there and the wheels where not, so the other guy called chuck and chuck told him that he would call me when they were ready. Then I just left and ordered new wheels online from discount tire website, chuck called me back after 3:00 p.m I didn’t answer so he left a message. In between 3 phone messages and 3 text messages from 2 different numbers I finally had to block both numbers. So if you deal with this place walk in the door ass backwards because that hole will get reamed out.
Was shopping for a replacement engine for our sons vehicle and having a very difficult time in locating one.
Auto Heaven took my information, and though they did not have what I needed readily available, they went the extra mile in trying to find one for us.
We most definitely would call upon them in the future for any further needs.
