So to be able to get my state issued id, my house keys, my bank cards, my dog's food, the tools I use every day to make money this place wants me to pay them $600 for towing fees for a vehicle they are going to scrap out and get paid on because I can't afford to fox it and keep all of my belongings from me so that I can't make money in the future to get myself a new vehicle. I had just left the laundromat when I got my accident and was unable to speak for myself so all of my laundry and my day of working tools and my daughter's birthday presents are all in this vehicle that they will not let me have access to unless I pay them $600 that I don't have and I can't make without the things in that vehicle.
It was easy for me to retrieve items from my wrecked vehicle; they are clear about what documentation is required, and made a point to ask me to arrive no later than 4:30pm.
Even when it started to rain, the office gal patiently waited for me to pack up and reminded me to check all compartments for possessions.
Had my truck totaled which was taken to their lot. I called the next day to come and get my belongings out. The lady at the front was nice and let me get everything I needed. Just needed to show them my ID, Insurance and registration. I was pretty worried about the other reviews but everything went smoothly. And all of my stuff was still in the truck, nothing was missing.
I chose to spend my money on this place and of course they turn out to be the worst towing place in history. Completely unprofessional, rude, confusing with their responses, and just straight up horrible at their job. Luckily the car made it in one piece so at least they did that right. Hopefully they have new staff by now bc man. I’m sorry you hate your life, why do you have to take it out on me?
I'm gonna call the state office in Indy today find out how your getting away with double charging people by charging 90 bucks an 4 bucks a mile on top of that. I can get a tow truck from Columbus to come to Franklin an tow a car cheaper then that. U people are ripping people off an u need to be shut down an I'm gonna try to make that happen. An believe me I will do whatever I can to make sure that happens.
Wouldn’t let me get MY belongings out of MY car until I gave them $500 to tow it 3 miles down the road after I got in a wreck. Including my birth certificate and all my nursing school supplies. Manager is extremely rude
Poor attitude and communication. I would recommend anyone who gets in a wreck in Franklin to call anyone else than Franklin wrecker.
The only pleasant person was the driver of the truck.
They are holding all personal belongings no matter what including: Social security card, medical insurance card, prescription medications, License. Said the bill has to be paid in full! 1200 for pulling it out and towing! I contacted my attorney and found out it is in fact illegal what they are doing.
Had to be towed after wife hit deer. They needed email from insurance company to let her get her belongings. Insurance said he’d never heard of that policy. Have to wait for email or I hav to pay for tow fees
My daughter's car was towed by them after an accident and they wanted $500 for her to be able to remove her personal belongings. Her insurance company laughed at this and told her she could get her belongings for free after it was removed from their site. Avoid this place!
I’m pursuing a law against them immediately. I have phone recordings of them lowering the price and lying saying they wasn’t trying to charge me more for just going out to my car to get my registration and insurance.
This place is the worst! I do not know how they stay open. They towed our motorcycle after an accident to their shop. The tow truck driver was very nice! Went there the next day to look at the bike for pictures for insurance. The lady working there isn’t nice or friendly at all. She did inform us that our insurance may cover the tow fees. We went to the insurance company and had everything taken care of through them. Got home.. the tow truck driver of Whiteglove towing got there to take the bike to the shop to get an estimate and called us. The lady at Franklin Wrecker wouldn’t release the bike to him even though our insurance company had already paid them. Because they have “beef” with Whiteglove Towing and won’t allow them on their property my husband (who also suffered injuries) had to go up there and push the bike out of their lot off their property and onto Whitegloves tow truck himself. And to add Whiteglove Towing was super nice and got our bike to where it needed to go!

I've never been charged to get my personal property out of my vehicle. Had to pay over $300 just you get important medicine and personal paperwork out. That's just wrong.
Lady at the desk was very rude an unpleasant às well as unprofessional. Not helpful at all. This place is a joke and I wouldn't recommend even if your ride was on the side of the road. Look elsewhere!
Older lady with the blonde hair is very rude and unprofessional. We came in to pick up our new truck and she was rude and disrespectful right from the beginning. I was not problematic to her at all and she sounds like she’s angry all the time and hates her job. Would give a 0 star if I could
Pure curruption. Buddy had a total loss. He got there 9 hours after accident with the title. He told them they can have the car, he just wanted to check inside the trunk. Over 500 bucks or he couldn't get his personal belongings. He didn't even get to see if they was salvageable. The lady is a C U Next Thursday to the fullest. Owners are two big bags of trash.
My husband totaled his car and was taken to the hospital, I guess the Franklin police called Franklin Wrecker Services to tow his car. When we went to get his stuff out of it we had to pay the bill for the tow, no big deal......EXCEPT that they charged us $600 for the tow! It was a freaking Honda Fit that got towed no more than 10 miles but they charged us for 23 (I made the drive from their location to the wreck site and it took 10 minutes). And what is really sad is that they knocked $50 off our bill to bring it down to $600! This place is a rip off, they WAY overcharge you!
Long story short my vehicle was towed because of an accident and was total lost. They wouldn't let me get my belongings out because my registration just expired mind you I gave my license and insurance paperwork. The front desk clerk proceeds to tell me I need to renew my registration before I can get my belongings.
I think common sense went way out the door because I'm trying to figure out how do you renew registration for a vehicle that is a total loss. End result I just let my insurance company claim my property for me.
So I post my comments about the lack of compassion from these people. Their response is comical. Yes I was 5 minutes late. Was on the phone w them trying to work something out from 4:50. The minute I found out they had it.Sure everybody has the right to be with their families. I was asking for 10 minutes of their time. A difference of $100 savings for me or an easy $100 profit for them. And at THANKSGIVING. The definition alone (sharing w thy neighbor). They just don't seem very kind. And that makes me . To tell me to have a wonderful Thanksgiving knowing I have this unexpected $300 expense is like a slap in my face.

Place is a scam. Hold your vehichle for insurance reasons & then charge you outrageos stirage fees as well as a bunch of additional charges that are unethical if not downright illegal.
$566 bucks from Friday at 8pm until Weds at 2pm & i was charged 6 days atorage at $45 a day + $25 storage admin fee plus i was charged a standard hook up rate as well as for every mile they towed & a mechanics lien servive fee of 120 (whatever in the hell that is) they close at noon on Saturday & are closed on Sunday but still chatge you 45 for thst day. Dont know how you sleep at night dude. They were charging me the 120 Mech lien fee the very next day when I went to get it out but couldnr because of your insurance requirements. In fact she told me Friday evening right after it was towed that it was going to cost me 300 to get it out & that included $45 for Friday night storage.plus the 120MLS Fee. R u even legally allowed to inflate your bill like that??Dont I get at least 24 hours before your allowed to charge for storage. Then she charged me another $45 for Saturday even though I had planned on picking it up.
No facemasks at all none of there employees bad additude and only wrecker service I know that required both people to provide info to pick up a vehicle
Getting your property towed is never especially fun. These folks employ tactics that are designed to waste, delay, and impede the release of your property. Franklin Wreckers own two other differently named companies (Hicks, Greenwood) to give the assumption that providers have a choice in their pick/up or drop/off deliveries. They refused my insurance providers tow truck at their gate, just after “green lighting” the release not less than 90 minutes before. After some kickback, more delay, and verbal exchanges Franklin Wreckers suggested they just tow my truck offsite-so to be picked up by the original provider. Then they recanted again! Now my truck must stay another night. My current bill out of pocket is 450.00 and still no truck! Franklin/Greenwood/Hicks wreckers put more effort into “not”releasing a customers property, then towing. They steal time by wasting everyone else’s, then charge for the privilege. Unless you have money to blow or enjoy gifting cars to wrecking companies this establishment is not for you.
Traveling from Alabama to Chicago and broke down on 65. Steve was on site within 30 mins, flat bedded my Suburban to the local Chevy dealer. Great service from Steve. Honest guy!
