All I wanted was for this shop to tell me what was wrong with my transmission but they went ahead and fixed the problem. They never communicated with me the cost or if I wanted them to fix it. Failure to communicate is why I’m giving only a one star. Be sure they do not communicate very well.
I wanted to share my recent experience at Goldsberrys Transmission. I unfortunately own a Ford product and the 4 Wheel Drive transmission took a dump just out of the vehicles warranty. I was referred to them by a friend and from the first call they were helpful. After inspecting my vehicle they called with the problem and offered two options. They were very direct in their communication, explained each option, went over pricing and timeline. They handled the repair in a timely manner and under the initial quote. I would highly recommend.
I have a 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 which are prone to transmission issues. I had a shudder and from everything I heard, that’s usually not good. They quoted me $6,500 to rebuild the whole thing, but then upon further examination, they found it didn’t need to be rebuilt. I would have never known the difference if they would have just gone ahead and rebuilt it, but the honesty is definitely appreciated. They tuned my TCM and disabled the AFM and saved me almost $5,500 while making my transmission less prone to failure in the future. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer anyone to these guys. Great experience.
I called after getting some frustrating news about my transmission from another place. They spent over 30 minutes on the phone with me helping weigh out my options and explaining everything to me. They were genuinely trying to help and not pressure me into 5k+ if there are other options to try. Appreciate how genuine and helpful they were!
I cannot believe this place has a 4.8 star rating to say the least. My experience here was none of the sorts. In fact I would give them negative zero if it were a “thing”! Story goes like this, took my Lexus RX330 to them for an ill shifting and lagging tranny after being ripped off at Hubler Chevrolet in Greenwood. They diagnosed it and told me I needed a new tranny and that it was going to cost upwards of 3k closer to 4k. I let them do the work and weeks later I pick it up. Driving home it did this real weird hard bang into over drive and got home and it smelled burning and terrible. Called them and took it back to them. They had it a few more weeks assuring me how well they take care of their customers and want to make it right. So get a call they finally got it figured out something to do with the plate that routes the fluid. I picked it up and the next day as I was driving I took off at a stop light and it lagged badly in to 2nd gear winding out and I couldn’t believe it. I drove it for a few more weeks hoping it would work out or something but I needed my car. So finally I take it back to them once again and they have it this time no more than 3 days called me and then the son called me and left me a message telling me that they don’t find anything wrong with it and if there is something wrong then it isn’t from their work and it could be because I’m running 2 different sizes of tires and if that does end up messing the transmission up then they will void my warranty!!! Later so find out I do NOT HAVE 2 different sizes of tires!!!!! And I DO HAVE a zPOS tranny that barely shifts through gears from a stoplight and guess what. I NO LONGER HAVE a warranty because of the wrong information that was given to me. They at one point wanted me to come all the way to them with the car I DONT have to show them what’s wrong with my car!!!!! lol. That is crazy. They are suppose to be the mechanics if I knew what was wrong with it I would fix the damn thing myself!!! Oh yeah and wait…. Guess what else I DO NOT HAVE……?? 4 THOUSAND DOLLARS
Decided to try these guys out after reading the reviews. Must say had a great experience. They ran their test on my transmission and come to find out I didn't need to pay $5,000 for a new one like a previous shop recommended. It performed fine but Told me about some other issues that very well could be the problem. Even recommended a credible shop that can help. The service and most of all the honesty is greatly appreciated.. already recommended them to a few people..
I recently got my transmission reworked here. They gave me good recommendations, showed their experience with transmissions, fair pricing ($3600 cheaper than I was quoted from a local garage), and fixed my vehicle. They are good people to do business with.

They diagnosed my issue by the end of the day and it was completed next day. Very affordable and the staff is great. Note that they are not in Brownsburg anymore but in Clermont. I believe Google address is now correct
The guys were truly amazing got to the shop told me it would be a day before they checked it out checked it out, called me back gave me options on my transmission to get a rebuilt or to get a remanufactured. I chose my option. They told me it would be ready by Friday it was done by Wednesday. I truly appreciate you guys.

I just had a new transmission put in my car by these fine folks. I dropped it off on Tuesday and it was done by Friday. They listened to my concerns, told me they would spend some time on it and they called back confirming my concerns. I would highly recommend this business if you are in need of repair or replacement! These guys rebuilt my transmission. They had it done within a week of me dropping it off. Amazing! I was really starting to wonder if these guys put a little bit of transmission fluid in there coffee every morning because they know they’re transmissions. I don't rate many businesses and when I do I rarely hand out 5 star ratings. Quite honestly Goldsberry's provides the best customer service you can find anywhere. If you need transmission service or even think you need it, they will give you honest and straightforward advice and they stand behind their work.

Absolutely the best place! If you are considering taking your vehicle for transmission repair, this is the place! We took our truck to a place in Avon first. We had it in that other shop 5 times in over a year and they did not correct the issue. We took the truck to Goldsberry in Brownsburg and they got it taken care of!! We had my daughter’s Mariner towed to Goldsberrys with a recommendation from McGuire Auto Center. The car had parts hanging off the transmission and fluid everywhere. I’m not a mechanic so I could have been an easy mark. The technicians at Goldsberrys got the car back on the road in a day and all for only $207.
