I've been in the car business all my life, and I've dealt with dozens of salvage yards over the years. I bought a transmission from Paul. However, they gave us the wrong transmission, which happens sometimes. Salvage yards normally just switch it out for the correct one, give you a refund, or at the very least, credit for future purchases. However Paul said “all purchases are final, as-is”. I never had a salvage yard tell me that, especially after giving me the wrong part. Paul was adamant, no replacement, no refund, no credit. That’s just unheard of. After a lot of arguing he finally said he would see if the correct trans came in. But we had a customer’s car torn down, I couldn’t wait. I had to call another salvage yard, and bought the correct trans. It’s now been several months, Paul’s never contacted me, and I don’t have a use for the correct trans now if he did. I’m just out the money I paid them. In all the years I've dealt with Salvage Yards, not one has ever done that.
The people working here are the rudest people I have ever spoken with called them at 9am, I was told they'd be here to pick up by 1pm, at 12:49pm they call me saying a tire blew on there tow truck it would be an hour and they would be here, by at 2pm I call back and they said just a little longer, 3pm I call back and get hung up on 3 times, my husband called them and he gets cussed at and hung up on , most unprofessional people I've ever spoke to in my life!!!!
All I purchased was a battery but it ended up being bad. I called them the next day and they swapped it out with no hassle! The guy at the counter was pleasant and it was an overall good experience with a minor hiccup made good with good customer service.
Called to find a part and all their response was no we don't have it. Then they hung up the phone, glad I didn't waste time driving there if they are the rude on the phone. I would not buy from them.
