I totally get it. Anyone can say anything. And it’s in my findings. The 5 experiences I’ve had after buying a set of LE3’s at Firestone in Fishers in 22 is they are punctual. Knowledgeable.

Brought my 2007 Honda Odyssey in for a $120 diagnostic after my regular mechanic found 12 misfire codes (two per cylinder). I explained the situation when I called to make the appointment.
I initially asked about just replacing the spark plugs, but was advised it would be better to diagnose the root cause first through inspection. So I agreed to the diagnostic.
After dropping it off, they called to say they couldn’t find any codes. I reminded them about the misfire codes and mentioned my mechanic must have cleared them the day before. When they called later to say they were done, they said since the codes had been deleted, there wasn’t much for them to go on.
When I went to pick up my car, I showed them a photo of the free AutoZone code readout from May showing the same misfire codes. That’s when they changed their story — now it wasn’t about the deleted codes, it was that they couldn’t do anything because the engine wasn’t actively misfiring.
Before arriving to pick up my car, I asked them to pull a spark plug to visually inspect it, since at 135,000 miles the plugs have likely never been replaced. They refused, saying the plugs weren’t easily accessible. That’s not accurate from what others have told me — the front three plugs on this engine are readily accessible — pulling one takes five minutes and would have shown obvious wear.
When I asked for a printout showing what diagnostic steps they performed, they said they don’t have one — but assured me they did more than just hook up the computer and watch a few minutes for misfires. If you can’t document the work, how do I know what I paid for?
It would have helped to know upfront that if the engine wasn’t actively misfiring, they wouldn’t be able to do much for the $120 fee. In retrospect, they steered me toward a diagnostic that costs nearly half as much as just replacing the plugs — but they weren’t going to actually look at the plugs during that diagnostic. And if the problem isn’t happening constantly (just 12 codes across 6 cylinders apparently isn’t “constant” enough), they wouldn’t find anything anyway. I wish they had explained that before I agreed to pay.
I left with no diagnosis, no repair recommendation, and $120 lighter. They also refused to apply the diagnostic fee toward any repair work. I’d recommend going elsewhere.Jan 24, 2026 -
Scheduled lifetime alignment at 12 today upon arrival guy told me it'd be a hour wait before they even got to it
Plus an hour to align i worked for this company and it's clearly gone down hill
Won't be back
I matched the poor attitude of the guy at the counter waste of breath to say the most
Went to belle without an appointment and they got me in before 1 this includes the drive

This was an appointment made solely as a result of the NEW manager Josh reaching out to me to resolve an issue I had during a prior visit about a year ago. Because of his prompt response to this issue as well as his willingness to listen to my concerns, I purchased 4 top of the line Indy 500 tires for my vehicle at a great price. Josh has turned me from someone who would never recommend Firestone Complete Auto care into someone who is now going to tell everyone I interact with about how your organization went above and beyond to make this right. Thank you Josh, Your a rockstar dude!!!

I made an appointment online to have my car serviced. I am not from the area so I do not know trustworthy places to take my car. This place was recommended, was told I will pay more but my car will be taken care of.
I took my car in originally due to my radiator hoses blowing and needing replaced. I asked them to look at everything that had to do with my coolant system and to make sure no other issues were present. $1300 later my hoses were replaced and coolant resivoir were replaced along with my belt and tensioner. 2 weeks later and I am still smelling coolant and also going through antifreeze when I shouldn’t be. I went through a gallon and a half of antifreeze. I took my car back to Firestone and explained my issues. The next day I drove by Firestone and noticed my car still outside in the same location. 10 mins later I called and was lied to and was told my car was inside being looked at and that they had been working on it for a while. BS! When I was contacted about what they found, I asked why this was not found the first time and if the leak is small, why am I going through as much antifreeze as I am?! Needless to say I was extremely pissed and irritated.
So now I have to have my heater core hoses replaced due to the incomplete and untrustworthy repairs that were completed when I first took them my car. I feel this should have been found when they did the original work to my car. Disappointed, pissed and will NEVER recommend this location to anyone.
I was never explained the work orders, the inspection that was done or anything else. I was sent an email and reviewed the work orders myself. Why were these not reviewed with me PRIOR to me leaving the location. Horrible customer service!!Jan 06, 2026 -
Went in for a scheduled appointment this morning. Guy at the front desk was covered in negative energy and rude. I gave him the same energy he gave me, and ended up leaving after he checked me in. He “only had one guy working with 3 in front of me, so it’s going to be a while.” Why accept the appointment if staffing is going to be an issue? Someone needs to teach this guy how to bring positive energy and how to provide customer service. I came to Firestone this morning, not the post office. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I took my car here b/c my check engine light was on. I was told it was my fuel cap so they changed the cap, then the check engine light turned on again two days later and I took it back. The 2nd time I was told there was a leak, so I paid over $300 for a leak detection pump and purge valve to be put in. Only for the check engine light to turn back on. I took it back an 3rd time and they reset everything and told me they didn’t know why it turned back on.
I decided to just take it to the dealership. They told me that Firestone put the wrong fuel cap on. So I am not sure if Firestone just made up the leak problem or not. But I am unsure how a car shop doesn’t know which fuel cap is the correct one to put on a car. I feel like I was charged for a problem that didn’t actually exist because they put the wrong cap on and didn’t know. Then the dealership looked under my hood to find a tool on my engine left there by Firestone.
Needless to say I won’t be taking my car back.Oct 13, 2025 -
Josh was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. He explained everything clearly and made the whole process easy. Great customer service—highly recommend!

My check engine light was blinking. They told me there was nothing they could do, and that I needed to take it to a dealership to get it fixed. All that was needed was an oil change.

Was told my car would be ready in the in the evening. Upon arriving I was told my vehicle was ready and my ride left. Was then told my vehicle was not ready and could not be driven home that evening. Ended up with a 20 mile Uber. This Firestone seems perpetually understaffed.

I took my car by towing to Firestone located in Corner Blouvard with a flat tire, three months ago they made me wait 12 hours and charged me almost 120 dollars, more then the tire itselfs price. The same problem occurred lately, I had a flat tire and towed my car to Belle Tire near Kroger located in Fishers, Alissonvile. They received me very warmly and told me it would be about a wait of 3 hours and told me there is no cost for a flat tire and we got it repaired for free.

Outstanding Service and Expertise
I had been dealing with ongoing issues with my tire for nearly three years, repeatedly returning to the dealership without a resolution. A friend recommended Firestone and suggested I speak with Josh. Although I was initially hesitant, I ultimately decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did.
Josh quickly identified a serious issue: a damaged tie rod that required immediate replacement. He took the time to sit down with me, clearly explain the problem, and even showed me the worn part, emphasizing just how dangerous it could have been if left unaddressed.
Thanks to Josh and his team, not only was my vehicle properly repaired, but I also avoided what could have been a potentially life-threatening situation. I’m incredibly grateful for their professionalism, thoroughness, and genuine care. They didn’t just fix my car, they gave me peace of mind.Sep 10, 2025 -
The last few services I have gotten were top notch and I remember Luis and Joey were super helpful, understanding and nice! However, I came in today a little bit before 6pm and the guy (didn’t get his name) that was working between 6pm-7pm could care less to greet us when my friend said Hi first and the employee made it clear that he was busy instead of saying “give me a minute” or acknowledging us (also before asking us what brings us) and could care less that we even walked in during opening hours. I told him about my situation with my tires and how both went flat yesterday and today and tried asking about the warranty and road hazard protection. He did tell me that he couldn’t get it done tonight and he did say tomorrow. I asked a time but he couldn’t give me one and his demeanor just seemed like he didn’t even want to find out what times were available. I said “there’s no way we can replace at least one of the tires replaced tonight, I’m already using my spare”. He started insinuating in a rude tone that I was trying to get him to get me ahead of the “three cars the one technician that was clocked in has to get done in the last hour” which was my intention at all. My question was about the coverage and if I could even get the tire itself to add it to a different spare rim elsewhere since I was using my spare tire. He sarcastically asked me about mounting and balancing, that I took as this interaction is not going anywhere and made me feel taken back. I really did enjoy the service from the Fishers team back in May and June and felt like I could come back at anytime but tonight made me otherwise. I felt uncomfortable to even leave my car there even if they could get it done tomorrow.
I found out that I could take my car to any other Firestone location and they can honor the warranty and the protection. I wish the guy that worked there could’ve mentioned that was an option instead of trying to shut us out of there as quickly as possible as it wasn’t during open business hours.Aug 27, 2025 -
Joshua stayed open passed closing time just to make sure our blown tire could be immediately replaced. We really appreciate how helpful and courteous he was. We were from out of town, and this really saved us a lot of hassle. Excellent service!

I originally left a very long, detailed, complaint. I was very unsatisfied with the actual vehicle service. However; when I did call the manager about it to fill him in on what happened, he listened to my complaint and let me interrupt him multiple times without getting frustrated with me. He was apologetic and assured me that he will talk to his technicians about the incident. I appreciate that but not sure if I will return my vehicle in the future.

We were on the way home from a long trip and hit an object in the road. We were still 3 hours from home. We pulled off of the interstate right into the Firestone parking lot. The gentleman that appeared to be running the place refused to help us. Did not care that we were 3 hours from home with a flat tire. I asked if I could buy a tire plug and use their plugging tool. He told me they did not have tire plugs. Horrible business. Lazy employee. Stay away. The only reason I gave them one star is because it would not let me post zero Stars.

This is a review for this store and the company as a whole. I’ve have been a Firestone customer for 10 plus years after being treated horribly at another location, I thought I’d try this store. They had my car for 4 hours to do an alignment. I had an appointment at 9 lam and somehow it still took 4 hours. When I go in to get it, I asked for the printout that shows the before and after on the alignment. The person at the desk acted like I asked for his right arm. He gives it to me, I have to take a picture and then look at it and realize they did nothing. All the measurements are the same and I can look at the front of my car and see it’s still out of alignment. I am done with this place.

First and foremost I would like to thank Firestone for being the first company that I have had the pleasure to write a review for. I have been bringing my car in for oil changes at Firestone for the last 2 years, so when the time came around to get all new brakes, I was happy to give them my service. This marks the start of the most regrettable mechanic visit I have experienced so far. The first red flag that the job was not going to go well was the associate telling me how they are "soo" over-booked for the day and asked if I would be flexible in moving my appointment. I scheduled my appt a week prior so I felt that it was a bit of an unreasonable ask, not to mention I dropped my car off before 10am appt. It was apparent that the shop was busy and even a bit frantic. An indication that a company may not be managed well, OR, that their only goal is to get as many bodies through the door as possible, regardless of the quality of work performed.
After paying $1,200 for the work, the tech handed me my keys and told me to drive the car for a couple days and if I felt anything off, I should bring it back and the warranty will cover it. I no sooner take my 30 minutes drive home and started experiencing my steering wheel shake significantly when braking, and 2 lights blinking on my dash indiscriminately; the emergency brake light and the traction control light. None of which was an issue prior. As soon as I noticed this, I followed the tech's instructions and reached out to the store manager to re-book an appt. I brought my car in on 6/26 and the soonest they could book me was July 9th. I understood as the holiday was right around the corner, but in an effort not to cause any unnecessary damage, I chose not to drive, putting me out of a vehicle for nearly 2 weeks.
Nevertheless I took my car into my 8:30am appointment. I did not hear any diagnosis until 1:30pm. The manager very nonchalantly told me that there were no issues with my brakes, and instead the hub bearings are shot and it is going to cost me an extra $1,000 to repair, I just needed to give him the 'Okay'. Obviously, you could imagine my confusion. I was not experiencing any of these issues before bringing my car in, yet miraculously, just miles after the initial Firestone visit, my dash is lighting up like a Rockefellar Tree Lighting Ceremony and my steering wheel is shaking like Michael J. Fox in a polar vortex.
After pleading my case to the store manager (Josh), he was unable to be convinced that these events coincided with one another and explained it as simply, an unfortunate happenstance. Josh determined that the steering wheel shake and the traction control light were merely a symptom of the bearing, yet after working on it, the traction control light has not been on since. Oh, and that silly parking brake light? Don't worry, that only stayed on because they didn't fill the brake lines all the way up after the job. All of this I believe would have been caught by a technician if they took a proper drive after performing the work.
My vehicle is still not repaired and Firestone has been completely void of any positive customer service attributes. Firestone's customer service model consists of them sending you a review to fill out and if you leave a bad enough review, they just might call you.
If I were to list out a few lessons learned they would be:
1. Only bring your vehicles to Firestone if you want them to return it to you in worse condition.
2. Be sure to look into companies before you do business with them. I will definitely be much more vigilant when dealing with businesses whose average reviews on Google and Yelp are 3.6 and 2.7, respectively.
3. Firestone being a large corporation does not equate to a display of expertise or a sense of security from a consumers point of view, instead, the corporation is able to hide behind their brand logo and not back their work like a smaller mechanic shop traditionally would.
All in all, I hope you are able to learn from my mistakes and you don't fall victim to Firestone's ineptitude yourself.Jul 11, 2025 -
TERRIBLE. From the customer service to the actual “work”. I brought my car in for a battery test because it wasn’t starting without being jumped which typically means the battery is bad. When i brought it in, i asked for the battery and alternator to be tested because of that. After my car sat there all day with no updates from anyone, I called around 5 and spoke to someone named Josh who said they tested my battery and it was bad. I came back to get my car, to then take it to get the battery replaced because it still had a warranty on it. This time when i arrived a guy named Luis said the car wouldn’t start at all and that they have been trying to charge the battery for over an hour which was odd because that is not what Josh said on the phone. He spent 30 mins “trying to get my car started” when in actuality he was working on the wrong battery the whole time (I have a hybrid). Once he got the car started he automatically said it had to be the alternator but wanted to keep the car overnight to run more tests on the alternator itself. Luis guaranteed that they would cover the cost of a rental for the day since they wanted to keep my car. When i call the next morning to come pick up my rental, I spoke with the Josh who said he knew nothing about that because information was not passed to him. He also did not understand why my car was kept because he stated that he was the one that spoke to me yesterday about my battery being bad and how it just needed to be replaced. I told him everything that Luis told me and he then stated that was incorrect because my car does not have an alternator. Josh did agree to cover my uber for the day since I had to work but that was avoidable in itself since they didn’t actually look at my car at all the second day. On top of that, they tried to charge me for a full inspection when they barely even tested my battery. I would never come back nor recommend this place to anyone because this isn’t the only location i’ve had issues at.

Online appointment made easily. Check in and checkout were smooth. Staff recommended a couple of extra services. No pressure to accept, but I did. Work was completed when promised and appears to have been successful. I’ve had my vehicles service here for 20 years with very rare issues.

Oil Change, tire balance & rotate. Although I had purchased the lifetime balance & rotate, they tried to tell me that the rotate was extra, even though they had to remove the tires to balance. Then the excuse was that they had a new hire, and they didn't know their job yet. The next day, my tire pressure warning was showing on the dash. I have a compressor at home and checking all tires showed low. I called Firestone and was told that the managers' tires lost 20lbs each overnight. They offered to check my tires, and I declined. The next day after I repressurized my tires, we drove to Florida for 3 weeks, over 3000 miles round trip, and didn't lose 1 pound of pressure in any tire. We have been back home for over three weeks in average 15-degree weather and still haven't lost 1 pound of pressure in any tire. The bottom line is they don't listen to the customer and all they did was make excuses. They DID NOT check the tire pressure after balance & rotate and I believe they actually let pressure out to generate more business. They cannot be trusted, and I WILL NOT BE BACK.

Got the life time alignment and a fuel cleaning for my truck, I have always brought my vehicles to Firestone for any service I can’t do and never had an issue. While sitting here this lady came in about a brake issue with her car. I didn’t chime in for the whole conversation but she turned out to be very rude and treated the manager like he was nothing. From my understanding the manager did everything he could to resolve the issue by offering her what solutions he could within his power but she was just very rude and loud. The manager was very professional and that goes a long way. It was very entertaining on my end but you just don’t treat people that way. I am humbled by how the manager was and he didn’t deserve how she was acting, well done Firestone

Thank you for the great customer service! My low tire pressure light came on when I needed air in my tires. Firestone put air in my tires and the low tire pressure light went off instantly! Made my day! Pep Boys in Fishers said my tires were good but they were not!

My wife, who has a mental and physical disability, was out of town when the headlight in our 11 year old car went out. I told her to take it to the nearest Firestone to have it changed out. They did the job in approximately 20 minutes and charged her $394.67. When I called to complain, the manager told me it was based on booktime (or something) standards and they would not adjust the charge. Other auto shops also have and use standards, but when they come across one that is clearly wrong and unfair, they make adjustments. This place was happy to take advantage of a disabled woman in distress. Their short-sightedness will result in Firestone never laying their hands on another of our 8 cars. Anyone who doesn't like to be ripped off should stay clear of this place.

I’ve experienced nothing but complete incompetence at this location. Last week I had my oil changed and they recommended I replace my battery. I didn’t have time to wait so I scheduled an appointment to come back another day. No problems there.
I returned for my scheduled appointment and they didn’t have my battery. They had ordered one but sold it to someone else. So I left and rescheduled for today.
I called ahead and they confirmed they had the part. When I checked in they said it would take 10-15 minutes. After about 40 minutes I asked for an update. They admitted they had ordered the wrong battery and would need to order it. I didn’t have another hour to wait so they reinstalled the old battery and I left.
I had a similar experience with break pads a few months ago and made the mistake of writing it off as a fluke. I drive a common Nissan, parts should be easy to get. I will not return to this location.Feb 19, 2024 -
I was late for an appointment that i had selected the time. They didnt even hesitate to get me fit into the now cramped schedule. The service is amazing!!!
