Nice walk through the woods. It was Muddy, so I'd recommend hiking shoes.

Wonderful stroll at your pace to look at sculpture. Look carefully some are not obvious

A hidden gem! Indiana doesn’t have the most impressive trails, but this one is so unique. Explore over 200 sculptures scattered across a mile loop. There are many wandering paths that lead to new art discoveries.

Great serene walk in the woods with beautiful sculptures tucked in amongst the trees. The laminated map helped to identify the artwork, however it was last updated in 2020, and over 100 sculptures have been added since then. Donation box at the trail entrance takes cash or a QR code for online donations.
This is definitely a hidden gem in Indiana!Sep 27, 2025 -
Our family visited the sculpture walking trail on a rainy Saturday. With an umbrella, walking shoes, and disposable ponchos we made the trek. It was such an enjoyable adventure to see the many artworks and the artists' various visions in such a beautiful natural setting.

My family and I were passing through the area on our way to Mammoth Cave and we were looking for adventure. Well we found it here at the Sculpture Trails ! Beautiful surroundings, Intriguing art in a peaceful setting. We easily spent 2-3 hours walking the trails and taking in the sights. We encountered only a couple of other people on the spacious estate. The terrain was easily navigable. We happened to visit just after a heavy rain so appropriate footwear was key. This is a self guided tour. We used a laminated map that was available at the barn upon entry. They ask for just a Goodwill donation to tour the grounds and it's well worth it.
This Definitely rivals Paul Bobrowitz Jr. s Spectacular Sculpture Garden in SE Wisconsin.
Do yourselves a favor and visit both! ;0) PeaceJul 11, 2025 -
This place is what fairytales are made of! I've lived in Bloomington for 30 years and it took me until I was in my late 20's to finally find and explore this place! Highly recommend spending a few hours here seeing all the sculptures!

A mysteriously cool and a little creepy walk through the woods. There are a lot of unique sculptures. We were asked to not touch them by a female with a chainsaw- we gladly agreed. Haha. It was very much like being an a fiction story book where a giant goblin comes out to meet you and a big mystery unfolds. It was well worth the trip and I was glad I didn’t go alone all at the same time. Y’all don’t go if you can’t behave- there are cameras throughout which I find comforting as someone who enjoys admiring art rather than destroying it. For those who want a rather unique and low cost adventure- this is it! Enjoy!

Found this oddity on Atlas Obscura and it did not disappoint! Autumn weekday hike through was magical, even with a toddler in tow. The moss and trees were just as enchanting as the art pieces.
Wear good hiking shoes, go on a dry day, and bring a few dollars to donate at the entrance. :)Nov 20, 2024 -
A gem. Museum worthy sculptures in a beautiful natural setting. Some parts of the trails are slippery, rocky, and root covered in places. Just watch your footing. Highly recommend.

Good spot.
Some sculptures didn't have numbers so it was difficult to identify the names !Sep 20, 2023 -
Eclectic sculpture in an out of the way location. No place for open toed shoes but a neat place.

Truthfully I was not expecting much from a Sculpture trail out in the sticks. Absolutely amazing how many awesome sculptures! We didn't even finish and will go back with friends!

Perfect hidden gem
The trails and the sculpture are outstanding.
Listening to the interns and the owner made my son day. He is planning his design for his mould. Thanks again for making our little trip enjoyable. We will see you next Saturday.Jul 10, 2023 -
You have to take some very narrow and winding roads to get here. The sculptures are pretty cool for any welders who care to visit. The trails can be a bit confusing but it isn't very big so you're not going to get lost.

Beautiful, unique and fun. Was not a strenuous walk. Keep in mind it’s not accessible for wheelchairs.

So beautiful and peaceful. Lots of wonderful art and sculptures all through the trails. It’s free to go through it and they have maps. You start and stop at the same place. Easy to maneuver and worth the stop.
Make sure you make a stop at the Yoho General Store!!Jun 26, 2021 -
A nice adventure!, Time to use imagination of what the sculptures look like to you or what artist saw.

Really neat place in the middle of no where. I thought we were going to be in a scary movie. LoL. Loved the walking and looking at sculptures. Very peaceful. Had a really nice time. Not many people around pretty much had the whole place to ourselves.

Really a fun and beautiful place. Very out of the way, but worth the drive

The Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum is a hidden Indiana gem. Worth the drive, these trails inspire and captivate year-round. With more than 100 sculptures scattered along the path, it is difficult to choose a favorite artist.

We could have stayed longer but we do plan on a return trip on a cooler day. The trails in the woods were nice and our family had fun exploring. A friend share this place on Facebook and I am so glad she did. Also a must while in the area is Yoho General Store for ice cream and other good food.

Absolutely amazing place to take in beautiful art in the Hoosier National forest. All ages appropriate, bring waters and snacks nothing close by. And good luck with cell service!

Love this place. It was a 3.5 hour drive for me but worth it. Enjoyed all the different types of sculptures. Great hike and a great place to bring kids and family.

Very cool to see all the sculptures and enjoy the nature hike at the same time

This place is AWESOME!! It is quite a way off the beaten path, out in the country. Google maps will take you right there, but watch how you got there because you will have ZERO service when you leave . The trails are well maintained and clear. There are some hills, and a couple places have stairs, but overall I would say the trails are easy to moderate in difficulty. There are a lot of park benches spread throughout the trails. Plenty of places to take a rest and just absorb it all. There are literally tqons of sculptures all along the trail, I think there is over 130. Overall, it was a great experience, and it is good for people of all ages. I can see kids that are school age and even teens really digging it. They host pour events, where attendees can make their own sculptures. I will definitely go back!

This place is so dang cool, with winding trails, forested hills, and sculptures from all over the world. A lesser known destination that many locals don't even know about. Perfect weekend day trip. Both times I've been there in the evening time so the orange sunset streaks through the trees and hits the sculptures for an added light show. Some of my favorite works are by Solsberry artists!
