I have used my roadside assistance 3 times in total with today being the 3rd. The last 2 times I needed roadside assistance, Those Auto Towing Services were EXCELLENT!!! They didn't make me wait for 4 hours or more in freezing temperatures without any communication on what's their status. Plus, I was given a ride with the other drivers with my car in tow and wasn't asked to call someone else to give me a ride to wherever I wanted my vehicle towed too, after I had already waited almost 2 hours on them to arrive in the first place. WTH!!! Why did you think I was using my roadside assistance in the first place?! Well, most of the time it's because I didn't have Anyone AVAILABLE to assist me or I would of already CALLED THEM before starting a roadside assistance request!!! I mean...DUH!!! It's a good thing I canceled with you after the over 4 hours I already waited FREEZING!!! I Definitely will Not Ever use this service...Horrible Experience, especially when you work out of town!!! ?
i wasn't allowed to ride with the driver because there were trainers. When the car was finally dropped off, the driver was by himself. There was a snowstorm, it was freezing outside and my car was in the ditch yet i couldn't ride with the driver. I was lucky a good Samaritan gave me a ride. The woman from Geist who called me on the phone to inform me about the time of arrival of the tow truck spoke with no concern for life obviously. i am just glad to have gotten my car from the ditch.
After an already hard Monday I got a complete flat on the way home from work; and, I am a commuter so there was no way I was walking home. Kevin arrived and got my car ready to tow so quickly, it was the biggest relief. Incredibly polite man and very professional. That’s the kind of customer service that keeps people coming back
On our way up to Michigan from Tennessee, Had a close call with trailer tire. Tread had decided it didnt want to come home with us at 2am. Didn't have a 4 way on us. Not alot of help in the middle of nowhere.
Kevin came out and got us back on the road within the hour.

I had an incident that left me stranded with 2 blown out tires, late at night. My insurance company kinda jerked me around for over 5 hours! Anywho, they finally sent a request and Geist picked it up immediately. Within a minute, Kevin (the owner/operator) called me and started the rescue mission! He was a little over an hour away from me, but got there as quickly as possible. He stayed in constant contact with me, checking in on me and giving me updates on his journey to me. After an exhausting, horrible night, he was my savior! I felt like he genuinely cared about me and my predicament and truly made me feel safe and cared for. He had me hooked up and headed home within like 10 minutes of getting there. (I'm sure it was longer than that, but it seemed super fast!) Kevin is a really down to earth guy and super good at his job! I really REALLY appreciate him and the care he put into my situation. I HIGHLY recommend Geist!!!!
We had a very positive experience. My husband (in an effort to try and save money) did my rare brakes, mistakes were made/stuff was broken. We called Geist and they were great. Towed my vehicle away, fixed her right up. Fair pricing and really nice people.
Simply put, choose Geist towing for your towing needs. I called on their towing service 78 miles from Dayton, OH. They arrived quickly and rescued us while we were stranded on I-70. They provided us s ride to our hotel after dropping off our Subaru at a dealership on a Saturday night. We even managed getting some supper eroute to our hotel. This crew is full of good caring people, working hard to meet your needs. Choose them and you won't be disappointed.
Super friendly and answered the phones in a timely manner. Let me come by even though they were closed to get photos of my car for insurance purposes. Would recommend!
They were very accommodating to help us in a very serious situation! The whole team was very kind and towed us across states no problems to report only kind things to say about all of them!
My guy showed up within 20 minutes, figured out some extra kinks in my situation that required removing my tire to get towed, got poor truck all loaded up, and expertly lined that thing up in my driveway where I can prop it up and fix it. Great dude and thankful my roadside assistance threw me into their hands.
I had a motorcycle breakdown down 250 miles from home. Geist provided towing to the nearest HD dealer. The gentleman was very detailed in loading the bike on a rollback and made sure everything was secure before moving. I wish I remembered his name. Excellent service, would definitely recommend.
They picked up the ticket from State Farm and were meant to come and tow our van. We were told 30-60 minutes. We waited. State Farm called and asked if they were there yet, to which we said no. Geist called and said it would be another hour, we waited still nothing. This went on for 5 hours. State Farm called and said they would cancel Geist and try another company and then they miraculously showed up. We had to leave the van as it was now almost midnight!!! Finally just after 12:30am State Farm called and said the van had been towed. Fast forward to this week and I just got the van back only to find they had completely tore up the front of it. Obviously this happened when putting it on the tow truck. I understand it was dark by the time they got there but this is unacceptable. We will be following up about the damage.
UPDATE - After many efforts of reaching out to have them send the photos/videos we are still yet to receive any of them. We have provided an email, and phone number to text the photos to and still nothing. Now they are saying that maybe I hit a curb on both sides? First they blame the mechanic and now I hit a curb? Absolutely ridiculous, if they have the photos and videos to show they did not cause the damage then why won’t they sent them to us?? It’s not that difficult to simply provide the pictures that they clearly stated in their response that they had.
I used this service through allstate roadside assistance. They arrived within ten minutes of me locking my keys in the car. Got the car unlocked and voila! What a relief… Thank you!
About two weeks ago, my car broke down in Richmond, Indiana.
I live in Muncie and Geist towing was the best towing company to go with by far. They have great prices. All the staff was very friendly and they keep you updated. Will be using their services again in the future if needed!
Insurance dispatched them at 11:30 am. They called and asked me to send photos of the vehicle, I did and they responded saying thank you. . I left for work and texted at 3pm asking if it had been picked up, got no response. Then came home at 4:30. The vehicle was still there. Insurance dispatched another tow company that showed up 30 min later no problem. Really disappointed that there was no communication, no apology, no response, nothing. They could have at least declined it so someone else could have picked it up in a reasonable amount of time.
Above and beyond service! After waiting for 4.5 hours in Indy for local companies that never showed or wouldn’t help, Geist towing came to my rescue and drove from Muncie to Indy to help me at 1 am. Great experience all around.
My car died on the highway while I was driving across the country, 2 other tow companies kept pushing me off for hours. Called Geist, they came at 11:00 PM less than an hour after we called. Extremely courteous, quick, even took me to my hotel - all around great experience!! Thank you for taking great care of me and my car!
I was stuck out in a cornfield trying to turn around at 1 am. These guys were there to me in 30 minutes and gave me the absolute best deal and the best service. I would recommend them to anyone! Very very affordable prices and very amazing attitudes. They did their best and got us out as soon as possible. Great people! Thank you guys so so much! Got a flat tire late at night with my 3 girls in the car. As i was looking for roadside service they pulled up about 1/4 mile down the road on another call. It was super cold out asked them if they could help me. They had it all done within minutes. Such wonderful people. We were so blessed and grateful they showed up when they did!! highly recommend
