Hello guys this is my experience that I will share with you about this company I called them at 3:40 in the morning my driver called me that he ran out of gas on the way he he was about ten 20 miles from them They answered the phone right away they were very kind very patient the girl who answered the phone Amber was full of attention and patience and and explained to me immediately how much everything costs approximately and what time can send their colleague in the field to help us bring fuel and of course bleed the system because when the fuel runs out air is drawn into the system and it is very difficult to start the truck and Thomas is their roadside assistant guy, as soon as he came he took care of it within five minutes and that he told our driver that they would still drive behind him to the next gas station just in case to we dont stop agen Gays my advice to all potential customers if you are in the area call them if you need similar help or TOWING Thank you agen AMBER AND THOMAS we need more people like you in this industry

On Sunday, Jan. 5th, 2025, just as a severe blizzard began hitting the S. Central Indiana/tri-state area, my car, ended up in a ditch on I-74 West, just past the New Point, IN entrance ramp. The Decatur Cnty. Sheriff's dept. notified TDS Towing of Greensburg, IN, to remove the vehicle despite the fact that it had been tagged for non removal by the responding Indiana State Police, as I would be making my own arrangements to have the car towed to a mechanic. Two hours later I noticed that the car had been moved. A few phone calls led me to TDS, who informed me that the tow bill was $780, and $65 per day for storage. I would also be charged a $260 "access fee" to retrieve any personal belongings from the car. I told them that the car had been tagged not to be removed. Their response was that it presented a hazard to other drivers and safety vehicles. I was told that the matter was between me and the police, and there was nothing they could do about it. The car was completely away from the emergency lane, all the way in the ditch, presenting no such hazard (See photos). They didn't even have the model of car reported properly. They had it listed as a Malibu instead of the Impala that it is and had to search for, then verify by VIN that it was even my car. My vehicle is a 2004 Chevy Impala that could be picked up by a standard roll back wrecker and towed to the yard within an hour's time, not a flipped 18 wheeler blocking traffic for several hours and should not be charged as such. TDS Heavy Towing is clearly under contract with local authorities and attempting to supplement their primary business by exploiting people who've already suffered circumstances that are largely beyond their control. Such practices are illegal in states that actually have laws to protect consumers from predatory, unconsensual towing, typically limiting the tow fee to $150, $30 per day for storage, and no charge for or denial of access to personal property in the vehicle. (Indiana has no such laws). My car has essentially been stolen and is being held for an exhorbitant ransom, which most are either unwilling or unable to pay, with no recourse to fight the theft of my property. It will be held for a short time and be disposed of at TDS's discretion. It has been 6 days, and I have yet to be officially notified by anyone about the location and status of my vehicle. I'm being charged $1170.00 as of this date (1/11/25) for the nonconsensual towing of a vehicle that slid off of the road during a blizzard. Any such blizzard or act of nature can quickly become a very lucrative opportunity for TDS with an untold number of victims ripe for picking, particularly with at least two local law enforcement agencies directing them to the vehicles to be towed. TDS is operating a government sanctioned and protected extortion ring, taking full advantage of Indiana's non-existent consumer protection laws with the help of local authorities, and should be avoided like the plague. If you need Towing in the Greensburg/Decatur County, Indiana area, I would suggest Tim's Wrecker Service.

Absolutely no help at all. Refused to tow a random car off of our property. We have no idea who owns it. They told me to call the police to verify that it was not stolen. We did exactly that. Then they turned around and refused to tow it because they had to have the land owners permission. And because my grandma is only renting, they Absolutely refused any help to us at all. Absolutely terrible service. Do not recommend.

So we are from another state, our truck broke down and we needed a tow exactly one mile. They wanted to charge us almost 700 dollars! Call Buckley's! They charged us 80 for the same service and they were great!

My truck was stuck on ice in a driveway the guy that got it out was nice but charging 500 for a 30 min deal is a bit much especially when I was only 5 minutes from there location they have a 2 hour minimum charge they should let people know that when they are called

CJ was great. He got there quicker than AAA said he would arrive and was lighting fast at putting my spare tire on after I got a flat. He was friendly and helpful. He also gave my very upset twins some cute little flashlights which turned their frowns upside down. 😀

This suckers just ripped me off. I called for road service for my driver's flat tire. From the time i called the to the time tire was changed was less then 2 hours and they charged me for 3 hours plus $95 service call charge. It took them 45 min to change tire but they charge me 3 hours including drive to my drive and back to the shop. My driver was 30 min from their shop. Stay away from them i could be better of with Petro service!!!!
