The men in the body shop do beautiful work, while exhibiting patience and care for their customers.
The mechanic is friendly and knowledgeable, as well as time efficient.

They will over charge you. Fyi they can't charge more than $30 a day by Indiana state law and they were charging me $35 a day so do your math and have someone extra on the side for another perspective on your numbers. Otherwise all of them are nice especially the owners wife she's a doll.
I wish I could put negative stars. Owners are rude and do not communicate. Charge crazy fees with zero service. They do not seem to have any idea how to efficiently operate a business.
Amazing staff and service!! You can tell Al takes pride in his business and cares about each and everyone of his customers as I have also sent my friends and family there. I've been going to Al's Paint & Body for yrs whenever I have needed to get my vehicles paint/body fixed and many other things. They absolutely do such a wonderful job making my car feel, sound and look like new again. Great prices not to mention they have your vehicle done in a reasonable amount of time to get you back on the road.
Amazing employees and service. I was visiting Nashville from Maryland when my alternator starting going out. Other shops I called couldn't give me a strait answer or call back but Al's was quick and kind with the assist. Not only was my ride road ready in less than 24 hrs, they made sure I was safe/not stranded, and all without breaking the bank. Such a great experience when faced with not so great circumstances. 10/10
Memorial Day weekend 5 hours away from home and my transmission completely went out. We were referred to Al's by another business down there that doesn't do transmission work in hopes they could get us up and going. Long story short, the mechanic agreed to look at it (which he did like right away) but said they were extremely booked so probably wouldn't be able to fix it and that it'd be better for the transmission experts to fix anyway. Once they figured out what the issue was, he called me right away and was honest and straight forward about my transmission being toast. He referred me to a transmission company who I am extremely please with as well. That was just dealing with the mechanic. Now the office gals, they're just as super as well! I have a warranty on my vehicle and when I called my warranty company they wouldn't give me any information about what the warranty covered or even if they would tow it etc. So she called the company for me to make sure everything was covered and gave me the details that I needed to know about the warranty. I honestly don't think I have ever had a major vehicle problem go as smooth as this one did!
Truck wouldn’t start at 2:38 on a Friday afternoon at the gas station. Based on the gas station’s recommendation, we called Al’s Paint & Body. They were there within 10 minutes, looked at obvious solutions and determined it needed to be towed. Al’s towed it to their shop, took us back to the state park campground, and told us they’d have it fixed that evening (we had plans in Louisville the next morning). They picked up the needed part in Columbus that evening and stayed late to fix it; dropped the truck off at the campground that evening, all fixed. The price was reasonable, the customer service couldn't have been any better. We are very happy and highly recommend Al’s Paint & Body.
These people are shady. I was in an accident and my car was towed to this yard, I have roadside assistance and wanted to wait on them, but after being pressured into using this company, I specifically asked if I would be charged and he said no. My insurance company went to pick up the car and not only did he refuse to release it, he is now charging me.
Fixed car after crash. They did a good job except for the paint. A few years later is it popping off, and they refuse to fix it. Told me it was caused by the bugs in Florida.
Worst place to get your car fixed in the brown county area. Uses cheap materials, markup on parts is outrageous, and nobody that works there is ASE or I-CAR certified, Al's estimates are always incomplete, jobs are never finished on time, and the mechanic side is always 2-3 weeks behind schedule. Only reason I gave it 1 star is you can't pick 0 stars.
Al told me they cut out the old metal.and replace it.but they just sanded it .and it returned in 6 months.then I moved away.they lied about the repair.still have the car.good but the rust.
