Worked with Lindsey to buy a car through Copart. Lindsey was excellent to deal with throughout the process. Would recommend her to anyone.

I wanted to buy a 1965 GTO from CoPart in Elgin Illinois. I was told I needed to use a auto broker. I searched online and came across Crabtree. It was about 6 pm my time, I talked to Lindsey. She explained the process to me and the fees, so when I tell her my max bid I knew that the fees were in addition to that figure. She also told me she needed to secure the max bid with a 10% deposit using a credit or debit card. I told her I was not comfortable with that and needed to think about it. After about a half an hour, I called her back. I said, "against my better judgement, I was going to do it" I said my max bid was 12K, the car was listed as starting bid of 10,800. She called me back 30 minutes later to tell me that I got it for 10,900. I was so happy to hear this, she told that we had to wait until the next day for the seller to accept the bid. She called me the next day like she said, I picked up my "Goat" the next day. She was AWESOME!! when I received the title from her a week later it came with a few extra goodies; the original build sheet and window sticker. Thank you so much Lindsey for making this happen!

Zero Stars. DO NOT USE FOR COPART BROKER First Review I've ever left for anything. Spoke with Lindsay multiple times pertaining to the Copart Brokerage service offered. Explained the services, requirements, and process well enough to "Get By." Lindsay took my information down, Lot# Max bid, and CC for deposit. She "holds" that information pending a win(?why?) instead of temp authorizing 10% of max bid) found this out after the vehicle sold or would have been a red flag for validity. I call the morning of the LIVE ONLINE auction to raise my max bid from $4000 to $4600. A response of "Whats the Lot number? and Okay ill get this taken care of for you." I watch the live auction to see the vehicle sell for $3100. I call an hour later, Me- "Did we win?" L - "No it went over our agreed upon amount." Me- "It said sold for $3100" L- "Oh i quit watching, You were watching?!"(sounding surprised) Me- "Yea and it said sold for $3100" L - "Oh well, that's the first preliminary auction, there's another one that follows, let me give you a call back after I speak with Copart" (Rushing me off the phone). I Call back 2 hours later Me - "Have you heard anything?" L - "No, Ill give you a call when my rep calls" Me - "Could you explain what you said early I'm having a hard time following?" L - "The car went for more than the amount you said." Me- "The online auction said $3100" L- "uhhh, nooo, it didnt. Ill call you back when I hear from Copart". After calling Copart myself, selling price and buyer and information is not releasable. As i figured, I knew was being lied to after the first phone call. I call Copart again to speak with someone desperately explaining This story and ask to confirm, not the sell price of $3100, but that it DIDN'T Go over the 4600 Maximum reserve. Partial SUCCESS and conformation of Lindsay's objectionable story, It did NOT go over $4600. I'm dumbfounded that a business offering services at a nominal fee of $200 only to input a max bid on someones behalf and nothing more, fails to follow through, or even worse Lie after its all said and done. Admit that you were never going to buy the vehicle, admit you forgot?, admit you may have bought the vehicle knowing you have a potential buyer at 4600, Or perhaps just conduct LEGITIMATE business? I could care less about loosing the vehicle as its an auction. I'm ruffled that this business is recommended by Copart, or even still open if they deceit customers with their lack of integrity. Not a wonder why they aren't BBB accredited. Thank you. - Cortez
