Well ran operation very organized and helpful. Its a great service i have used many times. I only wish it was more available but I understand that much of this is supported by volunteers
Keeps electronics out of our landfills. They even unloaded. Answered all out questions. Gave a list of all they accept. Thanks for helping clean our city.

First timer, dropped off old kitchen appliances and some electronics. Very friendly and efficient. Found out they will take various metals including old metal lawn chairs, which I'll be dropping off this week.
It was the most pleasant, efficient and reasonable (cost) experience...well exceeded my expectations. The woman who greeted me was very friendly, helpful and efficient.
They take household things that can be recycled. If you're not sure if they take something, give them a call. Friendly people. I just found out they have a place in Machesney Park, which is closer to me.
I've volunteered many times for KNIB ... great service to utilize and volunteer for if you care even slightly about doing your tiny part in keeping our planet clean.
Don't believe any bad reviews about this place - they are incredible. I got there at 8:58 on Sat and was 5th or 6th in line. Despite having a full trunk and back seat I was out of there by 9:08 with them helping on the unloading..
In and out no problem. And regarding the other review, you don't go to your bank at 1 am when it says is closed so why would you go here when it says it's closed. Go when is open and you won't have a problem.
