I was driving with my Audi and got pulled over and went to jail for two week, I came out and came to get my car, they already sold it and I had my whole adoption papers, citizenship certification and my entire life in there cause I was going to get my passport. They didn’t even clean the car first and they just sold it with all my stuff in there. Which I felt like it was illegal. Someone out there got my whole life information..
I wanted to get a gate pass to pick up a car They had a party in the office after a couple minutes waiting a hispanic lady started yelling at me from her chair asking what i needed with a very bad attitude and if i had a problem. "Lady you need to get customer service skills Rude and impolite" Buyers deserve some respect from these Impolite employees.
Someone else was driving my car and totaled it so it’s impounded. I wanted to get my kids iPad among some other things but evidently they have designated days for doing that. Visiting hours for wrecked cars is so annoying when there are people there at work.
I am a licensed auto dealer who buys a significant percentage of my inventory from GRAA, I love the personalized service, I’m a small chunk of their customer base but they are always friendly and treat me with respect!
I have been in the automotive industry for over 30 years, and I have never dealt with an auction as terrible as Rockford Auto Auction. The vehicle I purchased was completely misrepresented and they were not willing to do anything to make it right. I got stuck with a $13,000 service bill that the dealer and auction were well aware of before selling it to me. I even had the paper trail to prove it. I would not recommend for anyone to do business with them. This type of business is what gives the automotive industry a bad name. Buyers beware!!
The security that works at this establishment really needs to find a new job because they suck at their job and they’re very disrespectful. If you hate your job so much maybe you shouldn’t be working there.

The ladies in the sales office made it very easy to establish our accounts and get our online dealer stuff functioning. The auction it's is very busy and fast paced and usually 4 lanes selling at once. There are lots of people attending the sales and it can get loud and difficult to get from lane A to lane D so be prepared or have a bidding partner

I own a dealership and purchased a car from Greater Chicago Motors via GRAA. Seller stated no vehicle damage in condition report, front clip is held together by zip ties and tape. Been repainted! This is what gives dealerships a bad name! These people play it off to be honest and are very shady! Avoid this place at all costs. Read their other reviews they are known for stating no damage when there are obvious repairs that they not disclose.
Pretty Obvious why they have a low Yelp Rating! I am not the first and won't be the last they rip off!
Purchased a car from them, they have lost the key, didnt let my transporter drive in to get it since its iNOP so i had to hire a tow truck and had to get a key on my own expense.That was a last time giving my business to this auction, complete mess and irresponsibility.

To the rude, unhelpful, short tempered older man working desk. Treat your customers accordingly. Some of us have never been in there and don't know how it works. Many people come to you because that's where cars are taken after an accident. So recognize they are already distraught from that trauma and the longer in hospital the longer you have car and charge daily to keep it there. I get it that is the nature of your business. Maybe other people have been rude to you. But I was not and you rolled your eyes and treated me like I was a stupid female you didn't have time or patience for, Act like you were doing me some big favor. It's called your job. So how about do your job and actually try to be polite about it. I hope you have the kind of day you deserve.
Please stop the “ start the car and let it idle for and hrs before it runs through , no reason for it . If number 11 is running why is number 40+ idling for an hr ? . You charge 5 dollars per gallon on fuel . No reason to be burning others fuel uncalled for it .
The best auto auction around!!! I've been to many and I can say personally they take in some really decent cars. Just have to know what your looking for. Staff are always so friendly!
Amazing help!! Was very impressed by worker Michelle Ramirez-Jimenez. Not only was she lovely and helped me throughout the process but it was a big help that she knew Spanish which is something very important I look for when investing in big things like cars. Will be returning and definitely will be asking Michelle for her help again.
I recently just got my car out the impound Wednesday and realized a pair of brand new shoes were stolen from my vehicle while being at the impound. Still no answer or call back about where my property is.
Make sure you're being charged the correct amount...the impound prices are extremely high... In my opinion the older senior citizen white guy at the window isn't very customer service friendly. However, if you have any issues speak with Chad. he's professional, polite and will swiftly address a situation.
I am a driver for a dealership and I go to alot of different lots to pick up cars. The office personnel are always friendly and the lot workers are always VERY helpful if I can't find my car, even taking me directly to it and wait to make sure it starts before going back to what they were doing before I came.
Seems like a real nice auction, I seen a lot of nice quality cars. The staff were very nice and helpful! Definitely better than some others I've been to!
Insane prices to get your car or truck outta impound there. But the people who work there are super nice and friendly. And the guys who take you back to get the items out of your vehicle are very nice and patient while you are going through your vehicle.
Easy to find and it looked as if they had a great selection of vehicles if you are looking to buy a car! Hours don't seem to be as open as they could be..but I was there for different business than buying a vehicle!! Very nice people!!
I think the Auction is very friendly and provides a great deal of customer service that the big chain auctions just don't do anymore. They have a lot of nice new car trades, and very easy to do business with. As soon as I walked in the door as a new dealer someone shook my hand and I was registered within minutes. Great people!
