Would not recommend at all. Called and asked to see if they welded gas tanks, and they said they did. I dropped off my vehicle, only asking for the tank to be looked at it. They then proceeded to tell me there was more wrong with the car, giving me a list of what could be done before the weekended ended. They then said they didn’t even look at the tank and would let me know Monday. Called, and they said that it looked like it was rotted through underneath the tank straps, but they didn’t even take them off and it could cost 200-1400$ to fix. Had a buddy pick up the car, and then they said that it didn’t hold pressure after they put in air. Asked if if they took off the straps, they said they didn’t so I asked how they knew it was rusted through. They then hung up. 0/5 stars. Do not go to this place

The rattle on my Equinox wasn’t ‘just a heat shield’. The timing chain was stretched according to the noise and codes. They did the timing chain replacement, tune up, some gaskets, and an oil change and now the idle is whisper-quiet and purring like a kitten.

Last Chance Auto Repair came through in the clutch. Towed me in with the quickness. Then performed a thorough inspection of my broke a$$ suspension components and brake lines. Quick, easy, and aligned to perfection, but a bit painful to my pockets. Truck’s trail-ready again and ready for the next mud battle.

I see a lot of positive reviews in the last month so if this place is under new ownership, please advise. My experience was terrible. My car was towed in non-running with no codes. I was running/driving on I39 when it just shut off. They had it for almost 7 weeks. There were many, many excuses…vacation, flu, family emergency, covid, phones were down, another vacation…I would have to reach out several times just to get a call back. I suggested several things it could be. There were never answers, just “ok I’ll ask the mechanic if they checked that”. I paid for diagnostics. They couldn’t figure it out. I asked for a printout of what was checked and done, tested and looked at but was told they have no system that can itemize that. It was towed back home and the hood latch was broken so I couldn’t see the engine before signing the release that everything was ok (they actually made me sign that and pay my invoice before they would even drop it from the truck so all I could see was the body). Well we finally got the hood open and…holy Hell… there are pieces just thrown in there, several components completely detached, missing hoses, air filter just laying under the hood. We tried to start it twice after they returned it and it tried to actually start the first time so now we have no idea what damage was done! Look- I paid to have my car towed in and back and to receive it not only with a broken hood latch but also without any proof that a diagnostic was even done (bc there is zero printout), let alone that my car was worked on (except to tear apart some of it) and NOT even put back together, just thrown under the hood and shut. Add to that, the “little” stuff that I was able to see and upset about when the car was brought back before I could see the engine was ripped apart: Missing Weathertech floor mats Broken Weathertech cup phone Fuse cover not replaced Broken panel (to find fuses I guess) Broken hood latch (that we just paid bmw dealership to fix 6months earlier)
