I run a small interstate transportation company. Due to a booking error the load I picked up was shifted to far forward on my trailer. This was not only dangerous but left me unable to get my load to Texas. I called a dozen company's and had to stay the night 4 hours short of my first stop. When I finally got a hold of Classic, Tony worked with me, even from his house and his commute to work he helped me arrange to fix this issue, not only did he do all this but classic had access to tools and equipment few other had, and within 3 hours of calling them I was back on the road. This is buissness with a bit of Midwestern hospitality, when your stuck in a situation you need this service, these are the guys you want to call. Period.
Wow, I can really say that I am impress with the excellence in service I received from Classic Heavy Duty Towing. Customer service over the phone was exceptional. The people I spoke to provided me with the same estimate for my project. On site both gentlemen greeted me with on time and with respect. It was more of a job that we all expected but at the end they did it and still honored the quote provided over the phone. I definitely recommend them. Will be using them for any future needs.

The service for my damaged vehicle was patient, flexible and went beyond what was expected. One frustrating issue was the removal of my car license plate which was screwed on too tightly. I was stripping it with a screwdriver. The vehicle tow driver patiently utilized another yet appropriate tool,
a circular ratchet wrench, to carefully and successfully remove the license plate without damage. He also courteously discussed and provided some explanation and insight of the vehicle's damaged condition, repair issues and the coverage of the car insurance. I am sure the service will continue as I must return to the damaged car now stored in the tow lot to retrieve the Ipass tollway device.
After calling around the area and getting quotes from different companies, Classic Towing was the best I could find. I called this morning and within 30 minutes I had a truck there who was able to help me out. I was a bit weary since I had called a company yesterday and the driver actually left saying he couldn't help me, but I was so relieved when the driver (Channing is his name) said he just needed to fiddle with my car to load it. Next thing I knew we were on the way!
Channing was super polite, professional and ON TIME. I can't stress how grateful I am to have had such a good experience, especially for such a reasonable price. If I ever find myself in a tough spot again I'm definitely calling them.
Was stranded on I55 recently on a Saturday evening and took a shot to use Classic and I am very glad i did. George was very nice and helpful and recommended a garage to get me back up and running. The whole experience of breaking down on the highway was bad but I was in good hands and everything ended up working out very smoothly.

I broke down on the side of I-80 around 11pm on a Friday night. George and one of his employees showed up within an hour of being called and got me towed back to his yard for a fair price, no hidden fees after the fact. They were polite, professional, and went the extra mile to make sure I was ok. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a wrecker service and will call them again if I need one when I’m in the area. No complaints! Had some belt issues with my 04 cobra which left me stranded. Channing came an got me and was very cognizant of by car being lowered and made sure it was carefully loaded on the flatbed. It was only about a 5 mile tow back to my house. He was very pleasant and unloaded the car in the driveway with no issues at all. I highly recommend Classic Towing!! Thanks guys!
These people shouldn’t even be allowed to run a business , you will get charged for so many different little things that they don’t even advertise or warn you about. They gave me back my car with 5 new dents in it , scratches all over that where not on the car before. They are rude , they should be shut down they are a disgrace to the Towing industry. I wish I could leave a negative star. A 5 year old has more manners / intelligence than all of them combined.
I'm a specialized heavy haul otr carrier. Classic towing came to my aide in loading a million dollar piece of equipment with very unique and very special loading requirements. Classic Heavy Duty Towing Service was contracted by Network Fleet to tow our semi-truck from Paxton, IL to Springfield, IL. The Heavy duty wrecker arrived 15 minutes earlier than they said they would. The driver was experienced and definitely knew what he was doing. If you need heavy duty towing service I would definitely recommend calling Classic Towing.
Used Classic Towing to tow one of our tractor-trailers off of I-55 in Bolingbrook back to our garage in Joliet for repairs. They quoted us an hourly rate that was pretty much in line with all the other companies we called but gave an estimate of about 3 hours and stated they would cap the billing at a maximum of 3 hours. Just a weeks before we used another tow company and they gave us a similar hourly rate but charged 4 more hours than the job could have possibly took. Classic was very upfront and honest with their billing. The driver was fast, efficient, and obviously experienced. Great company to work with.

I run a small company out of Florida. I had a driver with a time sensitive hot load broken down in Aurora, IL. These guys were great. Classic Towing sent a heavy duty wrecker to pick up the broken truck and recommended a local shop over the dealer. They also sent out a tractor to deliver our load and made it on time!!!! They were then nice enough to bring the trailer back to their yard and store it until the repairs were made on my power unit so my driver could bring the trailer back home to Florida. Highly recommended.
Got the lowest price in the Joliet area for a short distance tow for my school bus turned RV. They did a fantastic job! Highly recommend them! Fast and easy to work with!
Usually don't write reviews but this is the second time we have used them to tow our Semi trucks. They were awesome! Hands down the best experience our company has had so far with towing. They were on time and got our drivers back into trucks to go about their day. I know most of you can agree you can't make money if your down. They were pretty reasonably priced too.
