Horrible service!!! Insurance company used them they were supposed to meet me at my home location. Called me one time I missed the call cus I was away no message left no text. I called back 2 minutes later and they sent me straight to voicemail. I called back again 10 mins later same thing. I called the insurance they called these people and they told my insurance they were outside my garage while I was on the phone with them. I was standing in my driveway! They supposedly took pictures of my driveway and sent them the same exact time I was on the phone with my insurance. Hoooow??? I don’t even write bad reviews! But I have been waiting on a tow for over 6 hrs and for them to lie like that is so crazy!! Now I have to pay out of pocket to get my car towed because they lied.
Edit post: I would like to take the time to come back to this issue. Zach the Gm at this location reached out to me this morning to get a better understanding of what happened. I explained to him the entirety of the situation. And Zach was able to get back in contact with my insurance company and correct what happened. This is the type of customer service that went above and beyond!!!!!! Like I stated above. I don’t even write bad reviews but I’m so very happy he was able to rectify this and get it handled! Zach definitely made my day so much better it was already a stressful situation. Thanks Zach from Clifford’s you’re awesome
Trey from Clifford’s Towing came out to change a flat tire and was excellent in his customer service. Arrived ahead of schedule, was very polite, quick and efficient. Trey had us on our way in about 15 minutes from when he arrived. Thanks Trey and Clifford’s.
I had a blowout this morning, Statefarm sent out these guys. They were awesome. They knew what they were doing and did it ever so efficiently. I can change my own tire, but it was 6 degrees and the tire wouldn’t come off. These guys knew what the other guy was doing and they had it done in no time. Even gave me a little hint on what to do next time.
Clifford’s towing was able to get my stranded vehicle from a parking lot and bring it to my driveway without any issues. The driver was very nice and communicated well. I appreciated how quickly everything went even with it snowing.
I have road assistance through my car insurance. While I had trouble getting service through them once it was sent to Clifford’s my car was picked up sooner than the estimated time. Plus my insurance gave them the wrong pick up address. The driver called me and drove to the correct location. He was professional, picked up my car quickly and it was delivered to my mechanic. Thank you for such great service.
Might be the first idiot that Clifford's Towing encountered who left their fob on top of their car and then drove over 200 miles just to turn their car off and turn it into a brick. Thanks for the tow to Mercedes! Damion was the man. Super communicative, easy-going, but professional, and did the job well.
My car decided to act up the day after Xmas. It was picked up within the hour outside of Toluca Illinois in a field. I was left well taken care of. I would highly recommend. Awesome fella.
Damien was so very helpful when my battery died. He kept in contact with me the whole time. He came to my work even though I work in a warehouse. I never experience a tow truck company as well as you guys. Damien was the greatest.
Excellent service, great communication and very professional. I was locked out of my car and had a dead battery. Damien help me get back into my car and jump start it. If you’re in trouble call them I recommend them 100%.
I called and told them my car wouldn’t start and that I may need a tow but it could be my battery. They sent out a driver almost 2 hours later and he tried to jump the vehicle which I already tried at that point and it didn’t work. At this point their driver told me they wouldn’t have a truck to tow me for another few hours because they have other calls to get to. Completely wasted my time and now I get to sit and wait for another company to come get my car.

Joshua and Maggi. We slid on ice off the road into a steep ditch. Even on the icy road Damien did everything he could to get us out. A very difficult job he did with professionalism. Never once giving up on us even after we had. Very nice and professional I hope Damien gets a raise or at least a set of winter wear. I can't say enough good things about him. Horrible tow company. They say one thing and do another. Plus all they do is complain about how they get screwed over by insurance companies and customers. My car was totaled and all I heard was about how bad they had it. Call any other company for service BUT don’t call this one!!!!
Travis helped tremendously. I had called to get a jack to lift my car so I could replace my tire and he was over within an hour and supplied great customer service. I would use again!
never ever use the business! Eric is THE biggest scanner and liar. Super unprofessional and misrepresentated the businesses affiliation with the Oswego Police Department after requesting an accident tow. BEWARE!!!
Got promised they'd pickup my truck at 4. Six hours before. 430 rolls around nothing. Call em nothing. Call again gets picked up *click. Then had to go an alternate service and pay 250 dollars and wait 2 hours. Coulda paid yall that. Worst service I've ever had in my life
My son called Clifford‘s towing to his workplace at 11:30 on Saturday night to jumpstart his car. They were unable to get the car started and charged him $90 for a service. They did not complete. I understand they should get paid something but the service was not completed so I feel a discount was in order. I would not recommend Clifford‘s towing.

I needed help with my Subaru Outback which was stuck in some kind of electronic safety loop and I couldn't drive. Clifford's talked me through the problem and got me moving again. It cost them a tow now but I will always have something good to say supporting them. Thanks again!
My son's car broke down and we needed a tow. I called Clifford's based on the positive reviews. They were fast, reasonable, and even recommended an excellent repair shop. I have owned cars a long time and never needed a tow, 1st time. They were fast, easy to work with, and great all around. Highly recommend them!
I had to go through my insurance company for some fleet vehicles and they kept pushing back the pick up time. But they were only telling me they were pushing back the pick up time when I called them and asked them where the hell they were. They take digital requests and gave themselves the impression that I didn't really have 3 of the same vehicle to pick up, but 1 vehicle that was requested 3 times by means of a "glitch" in their systems. Supposed to pick up at 530. waited until 615. Called again and they said 45 minutes for ONE truck. About lost it telling them they were STILL wrong. Told me they have new and younger staff and its hard to stick to pick up times. REALLY??? Flaccid excuse but sure...had re contact my fleet company and resubmit a request. Was told @ 530 the next morning they would be out approximately 90 from then. I'm in the lot waiting from 645 to 745. NO SHOW. NO CALL. NO TEXTS. My fleet company calls me, I tell them what's up, they call Clifford's...AND CLIFFORD'S DOESN'T ANSWER. Fleet company calls me and tells me they ain't answering. The vehicles in question, dead batteries, and they need to get 3 miles down the road. Where you at Clifford??? Answer your phone Clifford!
Got my motorcycles towed by this company and on the way to drop off the bike tipped over and fell. Broke the turn signal lights, foot peg and scratched the engine. After all that they only took $75 off the bill. Didn’t say anything about covering the damages or replacing the parts

I scheduled a tow through my insurance company and when my vehicle was dropped off, it was left in front of the house and not in the driveway as I requested. Had to schedule a second tow to correct the mistake. When my husband called to express his concerns, the manager on the phone was very rude and combative and unapologetic. I called the company and spoke to someone named Eric who was very nice and gave me the eta on the tow driver coming out. He was very apologetic about the incident the day before and the interaction my husband had earlier The driver that came on the second day name was Steve. He was an older gentleman who was very nice and polite. He apologized for the mishap. Thanks Eric and Steve for turning a bad situation around...you guys are appreciated!!
Got to my location extremely fast! My battery died on one of the coldest days of the year. Zack was super nice and friendly and got my car started right away. Hopefully, I don’t have any further car issues. But if I do, I will definitely call them again and refer them to everyone I know!
