Had horrible hail damage to my Subaru. Made a call to my insurance company they were quick to get me in to a local repair shop close to me. This is where I landed, Peotone's Crash Champions. I cant say enough great things about the team over here. Ben was very thorough and informative. Never knew how many hours of pure skill went in to bodywork. Every step of the way all my concerns and worries about all the damage to my car went away the more time I spent with Ben and the team because I could tell they actually cared about their craft and most importantly the customer. My car literally looks like its brand new again, straight off the showroom floor. I couldn't be more happier.
if I could give zero stars I would. kept my car nearly thirty days after I was hit by another driver, whose insurance was "covering the repairs". they returned my car to me not completely fixed claiming the problems happened before the accident, which it absolutely did not, my car was in perfect shape. I will never take my car here again and I will let everyone I know know about crash champions and their poor customer service and general rudeness.
Great experience. The manager Ben was especially outstanding, he kept me informed throughout the entire repair process and took the time to explain everything clearly so I understood exactly what was being done. Highly recommend this shop to anyone needing reliable, high-quality work!
They employ one of the best "Body Techs" in the business. If you have a vehicle needing repairs, this is the place to take it. Your car is an important part of your life, why risk trying just any body shop. The staff here is dedicated to your approval, and ultimately, you're security driving your vehicle.
They got my Porsche in right away, fixed it within a few days. Service was excellent, my car looks great! I would highly recommend taking your vehicle there.
Ben and his crew fixed my car and it looks better than it did when I got it there! They even vacuumed! I am very happy with the work and the customer service! Very nice people to do business with!!!!
Had a bad accident and had my car taken to Service King Peotone. The staff was very helpful and got my car done right. It did take a bit longer then I had wanted BUT my car was in a bad wreck. I highly recommend them.
Also took my sons car to them over a small fender bender and they fixed him right up in a couple days. Looks good as new.
Didn’t finish my car at the expected date (5 days late) and charged my credit card that was on file for a rental that they said they would waive. Took 3 months to get my money back. Plus I got a flat tire 2 days after they replaced all four tires and they wouldn’t replace it. This was my family’s go to place, but now we are never going back due to this poor experience that could’ve been fixed by better customer service representatives.
Hit a deer that went under my car. Service Kings repaired the front bumper, rear bumper, and some skid plates under the car. I asked if they checked the tie rods, ball joints, suspension, alignment, etc... They confirmed that they did and test drove it and everything! Upon picking it up I was still skittish that nothing else could have got damaged. I insisted to speak with the manager (I believe his name was Dan). He came out and confirmed that they shook the tires and blah blah did all the checks and without deer hair in the tire they couldn't justify an alignment. You know that feeling that get when someone lies to your face... Long story short - I took it for a test drive, which I noticed grinding and bad steering wheel play. Jacked it up and shook the tires... front tie rod is dangerous shot and the back tire where the deer exited is grinding/barely rotates. And wouldn't you know... I see deer remnants in the the tire's rim. Thanks Service Kings - could have killed me if that tie rod you checked gave out on the highway right before Christmas travel! Talked to my insurance and I'll be going to another repair shop to re/finish the repairs. This is all non-bias as the repairs and rental is and has costed me $0. Update - took it to Gerber Collision & Glass - Bourbonnais. First thing they said they do if you hit/run over something... an alignment/suspension check - who would've thought lol.
Aweful shop. I took my 2016 Sonic (24,000 Miles) in after being side swiped while parked. Work is extremely sloppy. After the first month of my car being there, the paint had dirt specks, there was a dent in the hood from them hitting it on something, a wheel bearing were broken, and there is still a noise coming from the left front wheel, a creaking in the left C-pillar, and a slight break noise from the rear. I’ve been back to the shop about 5 Times now and nothing ever gets done. The general manager, Dan, is unable to hear the noises and stated, “I can’t fix something I can’t hear”. I’ve also been waiting for a call from the district manager who has failed to get back to me for a week. I’ll post another review with updates and a video of the noises my car makes. And yes, the noises are so loud I was able to record them on my phone... If you are coming here because they did good work in the past, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Very unskilled bodymen and an unhelpful management team. If this continues on I’ll have to bring them to court.
SUV was finished in promised date that was quoted to me. My rental was ready when I arrived and was surprised with craftsmanship and the detail with the job. I am veary happy with the paint job and the " Environmentally- Friendly Waterborne Paint, with this it has a life time warranty.
Expensive, but quick and efficient, had the rental ready at drop-off, and finished repairs in less than estimated time, nice hand car wash at the end and detail inside!
