DONT EVER! AND I MEAN EVER!! Use this company! They charged me $800 to tow my car about 10 miles and they were extremely rude to me on the phone, the crazy part is I spoke to the owner unbeknownst to me at first and he was very inconsiderate and rude the worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life they will take you for every penny you have, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone not even someone I hate, bunch of scam artist. So unless you wanna give an arm and a leg I suggest literally any other towing company. The owner and his wife should be ashamed of themselves they way they speak to their customers over the phone!!
If you need medium or heavy duty tow in the area this is the place to call. Be aware of surrounding tow truck companies using predatory practices and over charging.

My son’s passenger side ball joint broke on his car which in turn ripped the axle out and sent his car into the oncoming lane of traffic and the completely disabled. He immediately called AAA motor club for a tow. After waiting over 3 hrs, AAA told him they couldn’t get him until 8:30 the next morning and he should call someone else. I called Kochel’s Towing in Monee for him and the gentleman on the phone dispatched a truck right away. The truck amazingly arrived within 17 minutes. The very friendly, polite and professional driver quickly assessed the situation. He winched the car on to his flatbed and removed my son & his car from a very dangerous location. He then delivered the vehicle damage free to our destination. I can’t thank Kochel’s Towing enough for their professionalism & rapid response time. Kochel’s was referred to me years ago by Al’s Truck Services who had been using them for over 30 years. He stated that they may not be the cheapest, but they most definitely are the best towing service he’s used and wouldn’t use anyone else.

Called ahead to say we he was coming. Owners wife gave attitude over the phone. We arrive owner wife was rude from the minute we walked in the place. We get to vehicle to find documents. Only to find out owners wife had employees go through vehicle to look for documents. We than realized item had been stolen. When confronted they threatened to have a us removed and banned. We grabbed personal items that meant alot to us and a carseat. When leaving employees started shoving us. An employee who is well over 300 pounds pushed an 85 pound woman to ground.
This buisness (if you can call it that after how i was treated) has got to take 1st place for worst tow company ever. 2 days after an extremely bad roll over car accident on the highway i was involved in, we went to go pay fees and give them the title. The second we were greeted we were met with the worst attitude I've experienced and being talked down to before i could even tell her what i was there for. Now not only am I in physical pain but something that should've been a nice smooth task turned into me having to argue with them even though I had all of the paper work and information needed. I hope to never deal with them ever again and I would never recommend to any family or friends. Maybe not even my enemies this place is a collection bin for terrible petty employees. In any future tow situation I will expressly ask for my vehicles to not be brought there. The older lady with Light hair and glasses should be fired on the spot and the same with the lady in her 30's. To be paid an adult salary and act/ talk and treat people like a teenager sounds like a dream. On top of everything they tried to cheat me by saying I only had one option to pay tow fees and then take the car myself, I'm disgusted by every interaction I had to have there I wish there was an option for 0 starts that would be more accurate to my personal experience. If you value your money or you wanted to be treated like a adult/ reputable customer don't ever go here. Save yourself a couple hundred dollars and grief
Horrible service, horrible attitudes! Claimed they never had the keys to my car after a wreck which they did. Driver left them in the car, they said the front door were locked. Charged me $75 for a lockout when back doors of car were unlocked and not closed then entire time
My vehicle was impounded at this location on Thursday 4/20/23. They charged me extra days storage because they aren't open on weekends. What kind of business practice is this? Then I am asking fair questions including requesting an itemized bill. Clerk was a condescending lowlife. I was very respectful through out the process to retrieve my vehicle back and this female clerk just has the nastiest attitude. Charged me 565 but I somehow I get the attitude from her. I never said I wouldn't pay I was just asking about fees. Then after I pay, they drove my car to bring it around front!!! The parked my car on the side of the building and didn't tell me. Just had my car idling outside 10 mins for anyone to drive off with it.And left the windows down anything can happen. Is this legal?? Of course they aren't bbb accredited and it is honestly not a surprise. Zero customer skills at this business. But when you have one of the most miserable jobs on earth making minimum wage, I guess you don't really care
These folks are not friendly and they’re service was very poor. I came to pick up my car and these folks just start hassling me for paperwork when I had everything I needed. They spoke in such a condescending tone and they left the inside of my car full of snow. I for sure WOULDNT RECOMMEND to anyone.
Thank you Wes Kochel Towing. We had a truck broke down Friday morning when the temperature was below zero. I'm sure they were busy but they got my truck towed to a shop quickly so my driver wouldn't be sitting along side the road freezing.
We used, Wes Kochel, Inc., towing on Friday (07/22/2022) at 7:30 A.M. (CST) to to our tractor and trailer to their facility. They close their storage facility at 3:00 P.M. (CST) on Friday (07/22/2022) and we had assets there to pick everything up on Saturday (07/23/2022), but yet they close their storage yard and charge us $100 PER TRUCK and PER TRAILER to sit in their storage yard. How can we pick up our equipment and property if your closed? How can you charge a customer storage fees if you're too lazy to work on the weekend? A tow company is a 24/7/365 profession and your either all in or all out. We have used thousands of wrecker services from California to Maine and Washington to Florida, but this one was quite interesting. I professionally and personally would not recommend this tow company. I simply asked for $400.00 in storage fees back on a $2,790 invoice and they said it is what it is. No Thanks. Use someone else.
This is a towing company I chose out of 5 tow company's. They seemed friendly enough, they were prompt and friendly. I asked about pricing before hand and they explained it to me. A Straight hitch was $75.00 and from there it was like about $3.00/ mile. So I could always determine where I wanted my vehicle to go!!! If you need assistance with anything else, there's a charge!!! In my case a Blown fuse had to be replaced, for installation only an extra $25.00. But overall Not Bad!!!

My husband used this company to tow his car to the dealership when it wouldn't start last February and had a great experience, so when my rear passenger side tire locked up and wouldn't move, we called them again. They arrived on time, were very friendly, and very professional. I have nothing but positive things to say about this company, and we will definitely use them again in the future.

Shysters. $170 for a 2 mile tow. Nickel and dime you every way possible. Would not recommend at all. Get AAA or get towing on your car insurance so you don’t get screwed in an emergency.
The guy was awesome. Came out in -10 wind chill blizzard and got us into our truck after I stupidly locked us out. He got the passenger side door of our Freightliner unlocked in no time flat. We called another company but they NEVER answered . These guys answered first ring.
They are A fantastic tow company. But, because of owners brother Ted, I will NEVER send them any business again. If the owner knew how much of a thief and how horrible his attitude was with customers and other roadside emergency professionals, he would likely terminate his brothers employment.
The brake chamber spring was broken in multiple pieces and had no tension behind it whatsoever. The reason Ted pushed me off the vehicle using abusive language and threatening bodily harm, was because they just wanted to get that tow bill. In the amount of time it took them to hook that truck I could have done all four of the brake Chambers.
I do not claim to be any better than any other mechanic or anybody else. I've been working on semi tractors and trailers for over 20 years. I've encountered multiple chambers with broken springs. I know how to safely disassemble them from a vehicle. Bottom line is he insulted my intelligence in front of his co-workers, he became vulgar with me, and reached for me while I was working underneath a vehicle. So if safety was really his concern, why would he start all this trouble in the middle of traffic?

Worst customer service ever. Reasonable rates, my ass $500 for 48 miles. Truck come out of the shop in worse shape than when I got picked up. My drivers side mirror has the back casing missing and I have my CB antenna missing from the passenger side.
I was in a crush on I 57 and police called this company. I was towed at 3pm on Friday, and although it said they open 24 hours a day but they told me that I can either pick up my car before 5pm or on the following day. I could not make it before 5 so I asked their hours for Saturday and expected a storage fee. However when I picked my car up on Saturday, they charged me a $100 "weekend release fee". I mean, you told me to come on Saturday without letting me know this extra charge, and I don't understand why there is such fee. This company is so bad and I wonder if they have any business other than the recommendation of police. I was scared and worried after a crash and needed real help not this kind of bad business only caring about money.
This towing company was called by Illinois state police to tow my truck from accident scene. My truck got into jacknife on icy road on I 55. Other than damage to my front bumper and faring behind the truck there was no other significant damage on it. Truck was just stuck in the ditch and needed to be pulled away. These guys came in and basically totaled my truck and damaged trailer landing gear. They ripped truck from the ditch with such force that they twisted frame by the fifth wheel. They don't know how to to their job at all. Total idiots in my opinion. I even have a video how they did that.
After they pulled truck from ditch, I asked them to tow this truck to my yard which was 25 miles away. They refused that and tow it to their yard, were they charged me for a day of storage for truck and trailer. And on top of it they charged me 10% administration fee for total of the bill. I never heard about such charge!!!! They explained me that they have to pay their accounting and staff for something. This is ridiculous. Stay away from this company if possible. Towing companies like this should be closed and their license revoked.
My vehicle got into an accident and I was told to come by at seven in the morning. When I got here no one was here. So I called their number and they said they were running late so they promised me by nine. I called the office twice but no results. I'm still waiting on them. I have been waiting in their lot for 2.5 hours. Don't use these guys. They don't care about you. They don't even know how to spell customer service.
