Always have a new selection of old pickup trucks. I never leave there empty handed. Found another great buy for my 1990 chevy K1500. Wheel and like brand new tire. 50.bucks.
This is the best junkyard in the world. They are all nice and they have good vehicles to take parts from also the price is right and its never crowded.
Let me just start off by saying this is the first time I’ve ever been to a junk yard. So I didn’t know what to expect. Right away we’re greeted by Jose. Let me tell you sweetest guy ever. We came straight here after school and we got there didn’t know anything about junk yards. I’m telling you the way they have everything organized and they tell you where everything is as well. If you need anything dealing with scraps,tires and spare or even more come here. Staff is friendly and so useful. And the prices are so affordable. If I ever need anything else I would come here. And I’m going to recommend this place to all my friends and family. Thank you Jose for making us feel welcomed. Oh and just to add after he realized we took to long he was about to send help but we were walking through the doors. 100/10 place I love it
BE PREPARED TO PAY CORE CHARGES FOR TIRES
As far as junk yards go, Joliet U-Pull-It seems safer than most. Instead of vehicles stacked up on rims haphazardly, vehicles here are, for the most part, on metal racks numbered for easy locating.
My issues are at the counter.
My vehicle's spare tire disappeared. Off to the junkyard to find a replacement. Found 1 full size rim + tire in the junkyard, and a spare. The white striped tires on the rack outside are <$20. Grabbed one of those, too.
I didn't see any other listed prices, so we were kind of blind "shopping."
Get to the counter. The guy tells us there's a $6 fee per wheel to remove the tire from the rims. We want the rims. Basic and scraped up, but it's just a "spare." He doesn't understand. We don't understand him.
Finally got everyone on the same page. 1 spare, 1 white striped tire + rim, and 1 tire + rim from the yard.
My issue is with the core charge(s).
Core charges are meant to reduce waste and encourage the buyer to bring back an old part. We don't have an old part to return. "Everyone gets charged a core charge." Each full size tire had a $15 core charge, and the spare had a $2 core charge. So in addition to the 2 tires and 1 spare I bought, I also paid $32 in core charges - knowing that I won't be returning anything. Even after explaining that we won't be returning any old tires, he says the core charge still applies. Charging a "refundable" fee here is nonsensical.
If I had purchased batteries, alternators, etc, yea - core charge makes sense. But a core charge on tires feel scammy.
I paid their price, because I spent time finding the tires, but I do feel that these core charges are ridiculous. They should also post a notice about core charges for tires.
Great experience I had at you pull it Junkyard today. employees were helpful and were able to go beyond to help me look for the particularly part I was interested in on and made my visit quick and easyespecially Maribel helping me look for the right battery for my vehicle made my visit go from a 15 minute visit to a two minute visit directing me to the right product I was looking for.
It was my first time taking my car to this junk yard. Both the ladies were sweet the one in the register and the other one in the back Ana in the office. I had to get rid of my car since it’s been hard to keep up with repairs. I recommend this place, friendly staff. The gentleman were nice too. Real busy place and I see why now.
The best Place to get car parts of any vehicle brands and really do highly recommend to come here, will be coming here more often such a great environment

I love this junk yard but some how a $18 rim & tire turned into a $85 rim and tire. When I asked for a breakdown of the price the cashier said oh yeah there’s a $15 core charge for the rim, I’m like okay well how much is it without the core charge because the math still isn’t mathing…… he said “why, you don’t even have the core with you.” I said you know what it’s okay I’ll go ahead at put this back.. false advertisement
Friendly service and I got exactly what I needed, an elbow piece for my emission. Next time I will bring some tools and get more materials for my Jeep.
My husband came in last Saturday they tore down a motorcycle and had all the parts radiators you you name all the stuff it seemed like they were in a much of a hurry and then when he got the receipt it was only $50 for a whole motorcycle engine all the stuff was there copper aluminum you name it from this motorcycle and when I called him back Monday she informed me they go by the tons and that I should do the math that's not my dad to do the math what they need to do is treat the customers fairly and give them what they were supposed to copper is a certain amount of pounds and so is it aluminum brass and all that they're separate amount of money for each item but they didn't treat them that way they just gave him what they want and sent them on their way very rude I will never come back here and I will never send family members my husband's family everybody we're done we will never go back to you pull it what a rip off $50 when we should have got at least $125 to $150 and then on top of it they lowered their price when you come and have them pick your car up now they're talking about 250 from 450 this is terrible they're going to lose a lot of customers for being so shady now the owner responded back to me saying I got the wrong place I know where l my husband went to if we don't live that far in Joliet and we know exactly where you pull it is telling me to take my post down I shouldn't have to it's freedom of a speech and expression I'm sorry it gives you guys a bad rap but you did my husband wrong when it came to this motorcycle he came in with a gentleman in a white van that was quite loud that said no hell yeah on the back for the price and the money he got for that whole motorcycle it's terrible but we have the right place
Been going here for probably 20 years went to get an complete front axle sunday and they advertise it for 132 plus 38 core not bad then I get up front after 4 hours of pulling out and they start trying to charge me for every piece from the ball joints out knuckle, spindle, caliper, caliper mount, hub assembly .... so I said is there someone I can talk to because it says $132 so I call the guy they say to talk to he tells me calipers and caliper brakets and rotors are extra ok fair enough (so axle assembly minus the brakes) i go to pick it up Monday after work truck and trailer another hour of my life I get there and the same shit happens they start picking every piece apart piece by piece what a waste of my time
I absolutely recommend this place!!!! Very friendly environment worth the trip! Especially when they asked us if we wanted free fuel, we thought they were joking but they were serious about the free fuel! That’s a blessing 10 out of 10⭐⭐⭐⭐!!! Thank you guys JOLIET U-PULL-IT!!!
This junk yard is a ripoff one of the workers checked me out for a 07 impala fender that’s rusted already for 50 dollars plus 5 dollars core are you kidding me that’s soo funny plus I bought a tire he charged me 25 for the tire and 30 for the rim insane plus 15 core for the rim and 2.50 core on the tire this place is the definition of ripping off people I left and came back because the tire and the rim i bought the bolts wholes are scrapped off and it won’t go on the car i returned it and the worker goes it’s your fault you did that damage sorry brother I didn’t buy it brand new to know if it was my bad theirs no way these people are gonna last in this business because of all the games and extra charges for every single little thing they have is insane people don’t come here if you wanna solve this problem literally take that tire back and refund me my money.
