I didn't do business with these guys recently. I drove up yesterday, however, to ask a question about parts salvaging. I was under the impression, that they mostly dealt with wholesale salvage of vehicles, and that was the indeed the case from the guy I asked. The sign said visit the office to be helped, and then enter. The office was on the other side of the gate. The guy then got cheeky when he noticed that I was driving a Monte Carlo, and told me to drive in to the lot and park my car, despite what the sign said and confirming that they couldn't help me. Perhaps, be careful when you deal with these guys. I wound up driving down the road on 29 to the Area Recycling Facility, and dropped it off there. They don't deal with spent parts usually, or deal with that kind of work from the website, and Google AI. I just had the one broken rim, and they said the cost of aluminum per pound was negligble in the area and they don't deal with this typically as they are not the best equiped. I wasn't in the mood to haggle or research it further, and I was just pleased that they took it off my hands to ulimately repurpose the material. If I had it scrapped and it was refurbished, then it might have cracked again in a different area. Better safe then sorry, and make sure to recycle as much as possible on materials that can be reused.
I’ve been buying cars from copart for many years now. Recently they’ve been nothing but liars and thieves. Ive had so many issues with the st. Louis location and now this one. I bought two cars run and drive a 2013 bmw 535 and it got to my shop and the motor is locked up it never started. I also just bought a 2012 rav4 run and drive and that one
Showed it with a bad transmission it don’t move at all, both of these from this location, and they won’t do anything about it, copart is getting pathetic
Had to call this site and ask some questions and talked with Kelsey first time and Sam second time I called. Both were very helpful and new the answers to my questions. Very professional.
Copart Peoria yard is always busy but the two office dispatchers Sam and Kelsey are always on top of their game, I'm always in and out fast no matter how busy they are. Always nice and friendly to everyone that walks in the door no matter how stressful their jobs are!

Copart Pekin as we call it. Has quickly become the most efficient yard that my fellow hackers and I visit regularly. With Customer service Reps like Andrea and Deanna setting the tone with their Gatepass and title expertise it almost impossible to have a bad experience. As a transporter for copart. We have had nothing but great customer service from them. Sam and Kelsey are very nice and respectful to all the drivers that come through. If we have any questions they get answers for us whether it’s over the phone or when we get back to copart. Thank you for all the hard work yall put in to help us drivers.

Did business with Copart located in Pekin. Talked with two ladies in the office named Sam and Kelsey. They were nothing but amazing, courteous, and professional. Highly recommend Copart in Pekin. And if you have to call them, specifically ask for either Sam or Kelsey.
Based on my experience, Copart will never take responsibility for their actions. The vehicle I purchased showed no damage to front bumper from the pictures taken by copart personal. Upon pick up the bumper was broken in multiple places. Damage must had happened at their lot but yet the manager said because it left the lot they will be responsible. So basically their policy is to avoid any responsibility at all cost. Thank you for your honesty and great service.
Sent my girl's car here to be totaled. It's been a little over 3 months ago, when at the time we asked for the items in her car to be sent to us, as she didn't take everything out, being distraught at the time of wreckage. Supposedly they sent them the same week of request.
Finally get a box today, said it was sent June 21st and today is now June 28th - over 3 months from the initial request.
Sent us back a hand towel, the tire jack and the windshield scrapper. Kept almost $200 worth of items from a very nice car jack to high quality Bluetooth equipment. I know quite well that I'll never see these items again.
I mean this with as much professionalism as I can muster at this moment, you're a trash business. And looking at other recent reviews, I can safely say that.

Didnt answer my phone call. Rang forever. Called corporate office they have terrible customer service couldnt answer my simple questions. Trying to get my vehicle picked up is such a headache. They do not tell you there is a $50 gate fee to get in and pick up a vehicle, thats what a local towing company told me. Nickle and dime you everyday it isnt picked up. You can go to the copart transportation app to schedule an appointment to pick up, do not just show up there. Copart didnt tell me this I found out elsewhere. Man horrible communication.
Terrible service. Even if you make an appointment, you still have to wait about an hour or more to receive your vehicle. On top of that, the the employees lack professionalism and basic decency. The manager Chris ha no knowledge of management and does not provide any value to Copart. We are all trying to do our jobs, Copart at this location forgot how to do it. There is no value or vision. No need to do business with companies that employ people that do not care about the business itself. "Leader in online Salvage and Insurance Auto Auctions", that is a joke. Try to find someone else to rewrite your mission, vision and values because you don't have any, and what you have on the walls means nothing to your own staff.
you staying first in a line - still have to wait 2 hours for his majesty loader to take your paperwork. +2 hours wait even tho you got on time for your appointment.

what's the point to request for an app installation and create an appointment- if there is still one entitled loader busy with a 9-car semi and the rest of forklifts are just parked near the office? you could easily fire half of the stuff- same service speed, anyway... guy with the attitude finally finished the semi and went for lunch. bro if you don't like.your job - just quit.

To a manager she directs me to Brittany whom is not a manager and tells me I won’t be able to speak to a manger because one won’t be available I then say I’ll call back when one is available Brittany calls me back anyway I hang up and I call back and speak to Sam.! Sam say here’s a manager now.! Chris (The Manager) then gets on the phone and says she has been standing next to both of them the whole time so she knows what’s been said. I then asked well why did Brittany say there wasn’t a manager available. My entire experience with them has been extremely rude. There needs to be more options in the area I believe that why they operate the way they do.
Guys if you visit this Copart be ready to waste your time for 2-3 hours if you pickup 1 vehicle. Also get ready to breeze with dusty air! Careless and slow working forklift operator also will f..ck up your day!!!
Poor service when it comes to pickup cars. Truckers that are on the electronic logs be ready to burn 2 to 3 hours for pickup and if there is a few trucks picking up lots of cars forget you will be here all day even if you just came for one car. Bad bad experience
Everytime I buy a vehicle there, it's a bad experience. It's like the front desk and office people go out of their way to be rude to you. The younger ladies seem nice, friendly, and helpful. But the older women are exceptionally rude, combative, and vindictive, seemingly for no reason. Never seen anything like this. Almost like they're miserable, so you are going to be too. And they intentionally kept my driver waiting and let transports go ahead of him, out of spite, I would guess. So disappointed in Copart. So sad.
We had to go here to pick up personal effects from my father's vehicle. The people here were super helpful and friendly. Their yard was busy with their business but they didn't make us feel like we were inconveniencing then at all.
I don’t understand why people who work here like to keep you wanting for no reason... Got here ... empty lot... loader was told to get me loaded... after 30 min I went back inside... only then a guys with attitude got out../
