First visit to R&N. I called on a co-workers recommendation. The check engine & VTM4 lights displayed so I made an appointment; called on Fri & got in on Tues. They ran a diagnostic, explained process & findings thoroughly. No definitive findings other than oil was a quart low. I paid for the quart & time for a diagnostic. Friendly, professional, service-minded staff. If more repair is needed, we'll be back.
I got an appointment in a timely manner, they diagnosed the problem and fixed it perfectly. Great service and reasonable rates. Would absolutely recommend.

Needed new/better/grippier tires. That gave us two options. Talked about features and benefits of both. We made our selection they were installed, front end aligned and oil changed in a timely fashion for a reasonable price
I rely heavily on their expertise as to what tire to buy for each specific application and have never been let down. And when I need a tire quick they are always able to get me one. R and N will always be my first call for tire or auto work.
The requested work was done on time and correctly. The price for the work was very reasonable; less expensive than the dealer. Communication is excellent and easy to do business with. I have a newer 2022 model and it was no issue for R&N to perform the suspension work requested, they are a very capable shop.
I was thrilled they were able to schedule me for an oil change at the last minute. I requested my headlight be replaced, too. When I got there to pick up my vehicle, the price was exactly what they quoted me over the phone. I have found a new car service place.

I’m very satisfied with the work done on my car. I thought it was one thing but they determined it was a wheel bearing. They worked on it until it was working properly again. Good, honest business. Highly recommend.
As a young woman its very easy to feel like you’re being taken advantage of for your lack of knowledge. I’ve NEVER felt this way here. All the employees have always been honest and kind to me, explaining the issues my car had in the best way so that I can understand. They’ve always been able to get me seen as soon as they can, and they’re super understanding about last minute schedule changes. Truly appreciate the people there!
Called them to get an appointment to get the air conditioning fixed on my Tahoe. I was expecting to wait at least a week or two before they could get me in. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me I could drop it off that evening and they would get to it first thing in the morning. You just don’t get that kind of service nowadays!
They had my vehicle there for over a month, charged me $950 and it's still not fixed! I feel like I was not a priority. I guess because I wasn't calling constantly to check on the progress or complaining about how long it was taking to get it repaired. To top it all off, when I finally came to pick up my truck, the battery was dead! Nate said something must still pulling on the battery and it would probably be dead again the next day. At that point I didn't care I just wanted to get out of there.
I'd never take another vehicle there!!!
I think this might be my first review for an automotive repair shop. I hope my past history proves true, but I will not give a negative review. I just won't do a review since I'm not out to bury anyone for a bad day.
With that caveat, I was very pleased with the work I had done to my vehicle. After inspection, they gave me honest quotes for what I requested which proved true when it was time for me to pay the bill.
I’ve been using this mechanic shop for over 4 years. Nathan & Keith are very knowledgeable, trustworthy, fair, and clear. They have experience in many makes. Services are performed with great quality and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend without reservation.
They are so wonderful they know what they are doing they get things done on a schedule and early? They even ask when you want your car done. I love that nice people in there too. Thanks for everything you do. It's going to be in you for me because it's in town a block my house. That's very convenient
Great group of guy's who take pride in what they do! Our drive shaft went out in our vehicle and we we're not able to afford a new one for our old work vehicle and they were able to find us a used one for more than a reasonable price and installed it for less than half of the price for a new drive shaft labor included! 🙌💪 thanks R&N Auto Repair, your a small-town treasure!
Nathan and his crew always take great care of our vehicles. We have been coming here for 10+ years. Well worth driving from Bloomington. They get us in and out in a timely manner. We feel confident knowing we are getting the fairest price around taking it to them.
We've been coming to R & N for 8 years and love these guys. They are very nice and prompt. I called them this morning and they got my car in and fixed it and saved me $600 without having to order the part from a dealership. Dave called me 3 times today to keep me informed and Nathan is wonderful as well. He will even text me throughout the day which is helpful for days I'm in meetings and can't answer my phone.
