Wonderful experience with this place. They were quick, friendly, and helpful. He even gave me a ride to my house and picked me up so I didn’t have to walk or sit there and wait while they worked on my vehicle. His price was fair. I would highly recommend this place. For once I did not feel like a mechanic was trying to take advantage of the fact I’m a woman and have little knowledge about vehicles.
Had my truck for 4 months. Never fixed it. Has no idea what he is doing. The “owner” has no huevos. Makes his wife deal with all the issues. Avoid having anything done here.
Have taken one of my vehicles there 4 times to get the same problem fixed have paid them thousands and it’s still having the same problem. They keep saying they fixed it but no change. Also took another vehicle of mine to them for suspension work they completely messed up the suspension caused other issues by working on it not knowing what they were doing instead of telling me we can’t do that job. DONT GO THERE THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
So when I ran over that piece of the tire that messed up my car well I wanted to give a shout out to Hanks Automotive in creve coeur. So not have they been nothing but nice. So I thought that I messed up my whole fuel system underneath. But it was just a canister and a hose which is much cheaper. one they are honesty with what is wrong with your car even if you’re a women . Then instead of having it towed across the street for 55.00. They pushed my car so I didn’t have that bill. So they saved me money too. So if you need your fix try this place ! Plus it is small business so there is that.
When I called them they were very informative about my transmission and it wasn't necessarily the transmission that it was electronic problem with the truck any other transmission shop said I needed a new transmission or rebuilt transmission and that wasn't the case here.
Hugely honest!
Just had a an older transmission rebuilt from a 1966 Mustang. Good people and very affordable. Highly recommend as it's getting harder and harder to find a place like this that isn't just out for your $$.
This is a great place. Very helpful, honest and fair priced. They even had one of our cars done days ahead of time. I would definitely recommend them. Friendly and courteous too.
Professional explaind what he was going to do. Was done with my transmission when he said it would be and showed what was wrong with it and it works great
I met Phil a number years ago while he work for Hank, always very pleasant. I made an appointment with Phil and the work was done as requested no trying to sell something I didn't need. Good place

This guy has done repair on a few vehicles of ours over the years. The jobs have been done right. Cost has never seemed unreasonable. He seems to stay busy and I usually need to wait a day or two before he can work on our cars. But he also seems to get to our cars a bit quicker than he'd estimated at drop off.
I have confidence in him.
