Business is unprofessional. I placed an order and paid for a part on 10/21/2025. I understand that the holiday was approaching. No problem I get it . Now I’ve been in contact with the sales person & been giving the run around since 12/01/2025. I was told it would be ready 12/02/2025. I call today 12/03/2025 just to be told it’s still not ready & won’t be ready until 12//04/2025 at noon then time switch to after 1pm. Now that I said that’s ok your business is unproductive & unprofessional. Now all of a sudden the part was ready for pickup two days ago. Mind you I live three hours away. Shipping was astronomical in price. So I then proceeded to ask for a refund of said item. The sales representative (Nada) I believe is her name then tells me there is labor/restock fee for a part I never received. I was then placed on hold to talk to a lady who claims to be the sales manager some lady who never identified herself other than her title. She was rude & combative as she states I’m not gonna beg you to buy my part & hung up on me twice. Side note( Nada was not the problem). So I’ll just go to my bank and deal with my funds at this point. Thanks for nothing.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience so others can make informed decisions. I had to return to Carz R Us in Armington three separate times for the same vehicle because each transmission they gave me had different issues. On the third visit, instead of helping resolve the problem, I was told the issues were caused by something I supposedly did wrong. That doesn’t make sense, because if I were installing something incorrectly, the same issue would have shown up each time—not different problems with each transmission. I put a significant amount of labor and time into removing and reinstalling these transmissions, and when the parts continued to fail, they were unwilling to offer a proper return or take responsibility for the defective parts. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop for anyone needing reliable parts or fair treatment. Please be cautious when doing business here.

Wouldn't really recommend if you can help it. Bought an engine from here and they pull every dirty trick in the book. They pull all the parts off one would normally expect to get when buying a whole engine pulled straight from a car. They removed the throttle body, alternator, AC compressor, distributor, and flywheel, stuff I would normally get left on engines from more reputable places. Honestly I'm surprised they even gave me the intake and exhaust manifold when they could've nickel and dimed me for that too. This is especially bad when they want top dollar for their parts. They place the wax seal that melts off if it's been overheated right next to the exhaust manifold, so it melts off immediately on first start up. Don't expect to be able to get the engine warrantied if they end up selling you a dud. The service is pretty poor here as well, I waited around for an hour for them to give me my engine, and when I asked what was taking so long, the clerk told me they were still pulling parts despite telling me it was ready to be picked up. Presumably they were pulling the parts mentioned above before giving it to me. There was a guy in the waiting room when I got there who said he'd been waiting nearly two hours, arrived an hour before they leave for lunch, and they just left for lunch without finishing helping him.

Overall the part I ordered was correct. Instead of picking it up, I decided to have it shipped. Your way of paying for invoices online is horrible. You're sent to a 3rd part site of some sort. The site kept crashing whenever I uploaded my drivers license. Even that I feel is not necessary, never had to do that before. Ended up calling to have someone there fill out everything for payment and shipping. Either way, if you pay for invoices online to have it delivered, expect to play 20 questions to information that isn't really necessary. And pay a percentage fee on credit cards.

I had a great experience with Carzrus1! The staff ESPECIALLY ERNETH was knowledgeable, helpful, and quick to respond to all my questions. I was able to find the exact part I needed at a fair price, and it arrived in excellent condition, just as described. Everything fit and worked perfectly. Highly recommend them if you're looking for quality used auto parts and great customer service!

Go somewhere else, I've had nothing but serious expensive problems engine light stays on, module, radiator ect, fan shroud even missing from it. If I could give below 0 I would. I don't leave bad reviews but this was definitely needed just beware.

Website says open 8-5. Show up. Doors open etc. People are just sitting around no one acknowledges me. Finally someone asks what I need. I say I’m looking to see if they have something in stock. He makes a big to do how everyone is at lunch til 1. Finally I see the small piece of paper on the back wall that says that. Then he makes a big to do about that and gets quite rude when he’s talking all mush mouth so you can’t hear him. If you’re closed it’s fine. Maybe lock your door or put the notice on the door if you don’t want people coming in. 🤷🏻♂️. I know you’re a junk yard but Christ if you don’t like people maybe you should choose another business **UPDATE** Look at owners response. He ignored I was talking about their lunch hour by stating their hours are 830-5. So still no info about lunch is posted on there. Then proceeds to tell me they take orders in order….i was the only one there …what order are you talking about? I said you several were sitting there and made a big to do about me coming in for help. Obviously he didn’t even read the statement. Great way to run a business. Picture included in case he tries to change his response or delete. So basically you just admitted to everything I said…maybe try and fix that bud. Great places in peoria to meet your needs folks! They answer, are respectful, helpful, and take care of you.

Once they got your money you are in their mercy, and mercy you won't get. Be worn, YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK, because they only take Bank Transfer payment, no credit card, so once you hit the payment button you just made a big mistake. Date of transaction: 4/23/2025. Purchased a Headlight for 2009 Hyundai Sonata. Company promises expedited shipping. However, they ship the item three weeks later. Paid with Zelle (the only option) so you CANNOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK OR DISPUTE THE CHARGE. I specifically asked, prior for paying/shipping to only ship a full and complete headlight assembly. When I received the headlight in was missing it back covers, and had an hair crack in front. I sent pictures showing in details of the item received. Merchant asked me to ship the item back for a refund. Once I ship the item back the merchant refused to refund my money claiming the part is not theirs. I am wondering why would they only say it AFTER I sent the item back. No other reason can cross my mind other than a scam. They knew the headlight was missing parts ahead of time, but never disclose it, and shipped it anyways. The bottom line is that the merchant was not honest from the beginning, and it is simply a scam. The merchant now has my money, which he refused to return, plus the part that was shipped back. Keeping the money AND the return part constituted a fraud!

**DRAFT REVIEW** **1/5 Stars - AVOID Cars R Us at all costs!** "I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Cars R Us and regret it deeply. They sold me a defective hybrid battery for my vehicle, which caused me significant hassle and expense. When I requested a refund, they dragged their feet for MONTHS, claiming it was my auto shop's fault (who verified the battery was indeed bad!). Not only did they delay the refund, but they also shortchanged me - still owing me money! Their customer service was arrogant and unhelpful throughout the ordeal. Save yourself stress and money - take your business elsewhere!

I only write this review to warn other. I have only had one experience with this company so take it for what it’s worth. There process was the problem for me. I wanted and needed a motor they had for sale. If they could have taken my credit card information over the phone It would have avoided all this. I got the email they sent with payment link only to find a 20 question form asking the exact same information the lady asked for the previous day. I got to the end and it wouldn’t proceed. I don’t need a part time job y’all. After speaking to one person that I couldn’t understand and couldn’t help once I expressed frustration I was sent to a gentleman who I couldn’t understand who also was unable to help me after he asked me the same questions she asked me. WOW JUST wow. I would no recommend wasting your time with this company.

Read the reviews and trust them. They will lie to you to get a deposit. Called asking about the mileage on an engine that was listed as having 1000 miles and part grade A. Asked what the real mileage was and was told it was actually 1000 miles. I asked if she was sure and she said yes so I put down the deposit. Got a call that it was pulled a week later and drove down to get it. Engine very clearly did not have 1000 miles (oil pan is about rusted through and its leaking out of everywhere) so I asked again what the mileage was and the guy in the office said he didn't know. I asked why they said it was 1000 and he just began to argue with me and told me to go find the cab and see if I can find the mileage. Terrible customer service. Should have just said you didn't know the mileage on the phone and I would have never bought it. Shady place now. Used to love cars r us. Update. Got the engine apart and it had a blown headgasket. Got it all fixed and put in the truck and it had a bad injector. Straight up lied about the condition and that the engine even ran. Do not use this company they are terrible

I really hate to leave anyone a negative review because I understand as a business owner things happen. But when you make no attempt to fix your mistakes I feel I am obligated to inform everyone else why they should not do business here. I purchased a used manual transmission from Carz R Us. Was told it was in good working condition, no issues. When the transmission got installed the reverse gear synchronizer was worn out. The transmission would grind whenever trying to shift into reverse. I contacted Carz R Us about our issue. Keep in mind they shipped me this transmission (almost $400 to do so). I was told there was nothing they could do. So we where going to drive the truck to a transmission shop and get an estimate on getting it fixed. Before we got out of the parking lot with the truck 1st gear went out. The truck would not move in first. I again called Carz R Us and they directed me to their website to file a claim. I did everything they asked. Provided documentation, jumped through a million hoops, and then all of a sudden the info I provided didn't meet their "criteria". After sending another email asking what they where going to do to help with my issue i received no response. I again reached out several days later looking for answers.... no response. I have no choice but to contact my financial institution to see if they can help me with the charges, which I really hate to do. Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra at a reputable salvage yard that stands behind the parts they sell.

Called 02/03 at 4:26 for a part, received conformation to pickup and arrived at 4:47 I was told that she sent the guys home since they close at 5 so we will have to come back tomorrow. Arrived 02/04 at 12:30 and everyone was on break until 1. Got back at 1:11 and still waited until 1:30 until everyone got back, they were “trying to find the guys” only to continue to have to wait until the other mechanic got back to pull the part which was 2pm. Didn't get out of there until 2:30pm because it took them 30 min to pull a break caliper. Service was horrible, employees nowhere to be found and definitely not coming back.

Wow, these guys are using a call center to answer there phone calls about parts! Talked to a young Philippino girl that knew NOTHING about parts. What kind of American junkyard business outsources calls to a call center? This is a first! Been ordering parts for over 20 years and never in my life thought I would be talking to a girl in the Philippines that doesn’t know ANYTHING about parts! Unbelievable! The owner should be absolutely ashamed!

Stay Away! This company is totally dishonest. Shipping charges are insanely high, they add on fees later. They sent the wrong item and make you fill out a return form and jump through all kinds of hoops. Told me they would respond 3 times andnever responded when they said they would. If they gave away parts for free I wouldn't deal with them. I have been buying parts for 25 years and this is the worst experience by far. They screw stuff up and just make empty promises and don't follow up when they say they will. Stay clear from this establishment unless you want to throw your time and money away!

This place shouldn't even receive 1 star. We have been in business for 30 years and this is the worst purchase /customer service / experience we have ever had. We purchased a transmission and drove over 2 hours to pick it up and paid to have it installed the next day and it was no good. We paid to have it removed and drove it all the way back to them and returned it and they refused to give us a full refund. Made us wait several days and then gave us a partial refund after being so rude. I would suggest avoiding them at all costs.

Beware of the hidden fees. Was very intrigued by the low cost of the advertised transmission but when I called I was quoted a higher price. I told them what the transmission listed for on the car parts app and she wouldn’t offer any explanation other than “sorry sir that price is incorrect”. Then when I said well ok I’ll take it anyway, she wanted to add a $50 labor fee to pull it out of the dang car!

One star is being nice. Bought a transmission from them, and was worse off than the first one in my car that I'm trying to replace. They've drug out giving me our money back for 3 weeks now by lengthy responses and waiting on THEM to look at the transmission we bought from them so we can prove it doesn't work. They wanted us to drive it there, but we can't even get the car out of the driveway. Lol

DON'T! This place is a joke. I ordered both cylinder heads for my truck over a week later still had not recieved tracking info I called to see if they'd been shipped. They said the mechanic said he had to pull the entire engine out of the truck to pull the heads (which is not true) but that was happening that day and they would ship the next day. The next week I got a call and text from someone stating that the mechanic had disassembled the heads and they didn't know where the parts were. They get a one star for the guy actually contacting me before shipping because he the order was for the loaded heads and they did issue me a full refund immediately.

Total fraud sold a junk transmission to me as a good running transmission opened the pan to find LARGE metal pieces and metal shavings contacted them to get a replacement and was told the transmission was fine!!! Are you kidding me won't refund or replace. Transmission had been opened before I picked up they knew it was junk and sold as a good item. Wouldn't send anyone I care about to this business.

Read the reviews they are TRUE. Ordered a transmission from them and got a price. then lady called back wanting more money. When I told them no they said they will cancel the order and I have to go though pay pal to get my money back. Hardly speak any English. RUN AWAY! I hate leaving bad reviews as I have a small business and reviews are hard to get!!!

Went in person for a fender and bumper for a second gen dakota. Prices were good and parts were as promised but they took quite a while to pull them despite me asking for them to be pulled over the phone. It only cost $25 to have both pulled though which made up for it.

Horrible customer service bought a motor and installed it only to find out that it was a bad motor and knocking. The owner has every excuse not to give me my money back and is very disrespectful. I’ve called several times for my refund and he tried to tell me that I didn’t bring back the same motor when they marked it with paint maker and put a tag on it. Then I called for a refund again and he said it will be another week for a refund and that he sold the motor to someone else. If so they will be really be upset when they find out it’s a junk motor. I highly don’t recommend buying from these people.

Claim they have parts they apparently do not.(suspect Mechanic being lazy) Mechanic refuses to pull parts they do. Waste of a trip. Update: To the lying owner, I was told they already had the part I needed pulled. I offered to pay by card or cash and was told I could "pay cash when I got there to pickup the part". I was told they'd have the parts ready for me . It wasn't a "show up out of the blue". Highly recommend avoiding this place as there are salvage yards that are closer to Bloomfield that will pull parts if they can(one did so for me without a appointment).

They take there sweet time. I was told Monday my drive shaft would be sent out for shipping. I've been watching my mailbox for the past 2 days just to find out they didn't do it till today. Witch you know is no big deal except I have kids and need my vehicle running. So much for thinking people do their job right. It's okay we can starve couple more days no big deal. Thank you very much for your timely manner.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!...bought a turbo engine with the turbo from them, they sent it incomplete. Then the owner refused to send me the missing parts and told me just to ship it back. Then held my money for a week and at the end of it wanted to keep part of it. Reported them to the Better Business Bureau, they said I was not the first to complain about their shady business practices

Bought an SUV for a very decent price! The owner was friendly along with the staff..the only downside is the location is in the middle of nowhere although Maps made it easy to find! Make sure you have enough gas to make it 6-10 miles to the next town though or you are stuck! All in all its a decent business, mostly salvage and parts, not a dealership to use if you want a warranty for your purchased vehicle.
