Left west suburbs of Illinois to head to Houston for a job site. Thankfully we stopped for diesel & my partner noticed right away our leaf springs are broken on our trailer. Called them Kelly nice sweet lady got me set up right away but before she did told me it’ll be hard to find any parts on a Sunday which she was honest right away but scheduled me to come first thing first next morning once I explained my situation & where we we’re headed to. Fast forward to today I’m typing this while heading to Houston. Thanks to all the guys there, we really appreciate it so much. Safety was the most important thing. P.s. only shop that would fix a trailer I did called a few other FYI
Mike is the best tow truck driver! I’m very particular when it comes to my Volvo S60. I stood by watching to make sure I wasn’t going to have a bad experience with a tow. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with other tow truck companies. As I looked on, Mike started securing the car down in a very personal and caring manner. Every thing went great. I was very lucky to have a driver that didn’t just drag my car on the truck. Thanks Mike for your service, I appreciate you Sir!
What a shady experience they are ! Miserable people shouldn't been in a office dispatching ! Good luck if there's any damage, hopefully other people have better luck with them ! Six years ago they were a good company not sure what happened.
Mike did an amazing job. He was well informed about the issue with my car, heard my concerns, and transported my car safely even though it was a more difficult tow. Most of all, he was extremely kind to me and made me feel at ease. Would recommend this company to anyone!
One of our drivers got stuck on the highway with a broken anti freeze hose on a Friday night at 11pm. I called Springfield Autobody and received best possible service ever. Maria was able to get a tow truck driver out almost immediately, he dropped off our driver at a hotel and next day early morning fixed up our 17 Ford Transit van and got us back on the road to Chicago. Springfield autobody honestly saved us that night and we could not be more grateful, writing this review is a pleasure because Maria and her husband and their mechanics are simply the best and most amazing people! These guys are AWESOME! I got a flat tire last night and my insurance dispatched a guy from Springfield Auto body and Towing. He was great! I unfortunately did not get his name. He told me he believed my tire could be patched and to come to the shop first thing in the morning. I arrived and was helped immediately first thing in the morning. I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. The guys were nothing but kind, patient, and helpful in a not so ideal situation. I couldn't have asked for better help. Steven is the one who took care of my tire personally and knew exactly what he was doing. Thank you for all of your help Springfield Auto Body and Towing. You WILL be getting my future business and hopefully all of my family and friends as well.
I just want to talk about the wonderful experience I had with Springfield Auto Body. One of their employees had put on a flat for me. I later took it to get the Tyren and it seemed that the bolts were crossed threaded. The manager there, Jerry, said he would Be happy to take care of it for me. It was so easy, pleasant, and enjoyable doing business with Jerry…thank you so much for your kindness, my friend!
WOW cannot say enough great things about this shop! My car broke down on a roadtrip and it was towed here and what a blessing! Not only did they keep my vehicle safe while towing but they diagnosed and repaired my car!! Had it all done within a few hours so I could get back on the road. The hospitality of this entire crew was something I do not come across often as a woman who travels alone. Everything was explained clearly to me, not condescending at all, and they did all the work for a reasonable price. Thank you thank you thank you!!
I used this company through my roadside assistance when my car died. I didn't get the tow truck driver's name, but he was great. Very personable and knowledgeable. I wish I'd had my car towed to this business for repairs, but will definitely consider them in the future.
Hello, I wanted to share what a positive experience that I have had with this honest and reputable company of Springfield Welding and Autobody. I have used them several times for towing and it has always been such amazing service . They are always timely and each and every employee has been super helpful. Recently, I had an issue with my daughter's car and and I was a 99% sure it was the alternator. I decided to take it in to them for the first time for this mechanical issue. I had spoken with Dan earlier, and he got back with me promptly. I was just so amazed that he let me know that my only problem with the car was that a belt had come off! He really could have agree with me and just said it was the alternator and it would have cost me a whole lot more money! I just don't think you find this very often in this day and age --honesty and integrity! They are my go to shop now! Please check them out!

Hands dwn, top notch company all the way around! From the receptionist to the service guy and garage guys, very respectful. Had a issue w my car not starting. Service guy made a quick call. Tow truck was there within 20 min. The ladies the nxt day set me up for repairs in the garage. They were so quick w repair and service that I had my car back within 13 hrs. (Towed late the night before) The price for repairs were very reasonable. The owners have a crew that these other companies would beg for!! Thanks again Autobody Crew!!
If you have a option don't even bother with these people it's a waste of time their customers service socks. They call you a liar. Mybvechile was in a hit and run prior to the accident the check engine light was not on . After the hit and run was told 18 codes popped up that's why my auto start isn't working. driver headlight is not working, automatic running boards works sometimes was told battery in running board was low. Give me a break what running board has a battery. Yet I get a call saying my truck is ready for pickup and the issues were never fixed. I wouldn't recommend taking a bike here. I looked at the reviews thinking this was a good shop but it's out of 10 people. Please do your homework
Wrecked my car driver side door/window on Wednesday night brought it to them Thursday around lunch time, They had it back to me by 3pm The same day! I don’t even usually leave reviews but this is my second time coming to them and the service was OUTSTANDING worth any penny , I could go on and on but i really appreciate you guys made my stressing way easier
I appreciate Springfield Autobody they are a family owned local business, in my opinion they are the best in town, if you need towing body work or any mechanical work done they will get it done for you, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else they answer any questions you have right away an are honest, your car isn’t going to sit there for a long period of time, there response times on anything you need is some of the best customer service you could ask for!
My wife's motorcycle was stolen and this company happened to be the ones to retrieve it. Great communication. Wonderful people to work with even in a not so wonderful situation. Thank you to the staff of Springfield automotive in towing.
