This company's other garbage! They started charging $125 Plus for in town 3 Mile tow during inclement weather. 5 inches of snow in the Midwest is nothing new. Beware of people like these who price gouge and take advantage of folk. I would not do business with this company.
Engine went out in my car on 55 north of Sherman. They arrived in about 20 minutes. Very courteous, both on the phone and in person. My dad was coming to get me from about an hour away. They took me to a convenient spot to meet my dad(Loves in Williamsville) and did not leave until my dad arrived because they wanted to ensure my safety. They are also reasonably priced. I could not have asked for a better experience on an otherwise rough day.
This company is a big SCAM and a joke. There fees are very OUTRAGEOUS 525$ , Considering im from out of town i couldn’t afford paying so much for after only having my car for one Hour and also to mention when calling the company they said my car was already in Spring Field Illinois however, they lied. I headed immediately to Spring Field and noticed the tow truck was behind me barely leaving the mobile home where it was picked up in Jacksonville Illinois . I called the company to tell the tow truck driver to stop and she Didn’t. She was very rude and disrespectful, and very unprofessional. She needs to be FIRED!! Legal action will be taken soon.

This company is a joke. The owner is disrespectful. He makes his drivers use trucks that are not safe what so ever. And it's never his fault for the issues, it's always someone else's. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR A JOB OR A TOW!! Oh and my vehicle was hit by a driver and the owner of the company didn't even pay to fix it. He said it ain't his problem.
I really appreciate Michael for coming and giving me this tow he was very friendly and nice and made me feel comfortable and helped me figure out what was the iss but the reason I gave this 3 stars is because the lady I spoke with wasn’t listening to me and told me my tow would be 150 but instead it ended up being 200 because she did the wrong thing…I’m not mad abt it I just wish she would’ve listened and heard and gave me the exact price then and there!
The man was very professional, informative and courtious.I was very impressed..Mulligans are very lucky to have him on their team. He gives Mulligans a good respectful name. I'm from out of town passing through on 55 in the early afternoon Saturday of July 4th weekend when car broke down. AAA was no help. Needed a tow to Bloomington. Dispatcher was patient and very helpful. Car was picked up in a timely manner and delivered to service shop within the afternoon. Thank you so much!
I'd like the service with these guys the guy Ryan is awesome he's a well good person he helped us get are vehicle home. safely and offered to us a ride where we can get cash to pay him I recommend these guys they're there for the service and helping in all ways to serve the customer well appreciated thank you guys
Problem with getting vehicle out of park. Called 6 different places and were told hours before could get to it. Ryan with Mulligans was there really fast and got it out of park and then towed where we needed it. He was kind enough to call and ask if we wanted it towed to our house since he had gotten it out of park. Highly recommend using Mulligans and our friends also told us Ryan was obviously hard worker and they would also use them.
Ryan will be the one I request everytime I’m in need of a tow ! His arrival was prompt and he was more than efficient! He had my daughters car hooked up before I could turn around and we were on our way to our destination. He Took very good care of our vehicle during the tow . Very good. We was 2 hours from home and they towed us back to our town. My son is in a wheelchair he helped get him in truck. It was very cold and even bought us hand warmers. Very highly recommended

I called Mulligan's towing and they were the only towing company that came through for me today. Klayton picked me and my jeep up and he towed it to the dealership for me as I lost my keys a few days ago and have to get a new set. I have been so upset and frustrated with this whole situation and just this one guy and company today had helped make this situation a lot easier and less stressful. I highly recommend them 10/10!!!
My starter went out on my truck at the gas station. I called Mulligan’s Towing and Ryan was there in less than 30-min. He was very professional, courteous and very considerate of my “old” truck. Plus, he gave me and my dog a ride home, which was very appreciated. Should I ever need a tow in the future, I will reach out to Mulligan’s.
Ryan showed up quickly and could not have been more helpful. He towed our truck and trailer to the yard and made sure it was secure. He also gave us a ride to our hotel.. We consider ourselves fortunate to have called Mulligans.
We had waited almost 3 hours for AAA to send a tow truck. I finally googled tow companies near us and Mulligans was at the top. They came out in under 20 minutes. The driver was very nice and took very good care of my girl Betsy and towed us all the way to Carlinville with care. He was professional and I would use them again in a heart beat.
My alternator went bad and ran my battery dead. I called for tow. The driver didn’t bring tow bed and I told them I had 4wd. Driver went in my neighbors drive and when he was backing out to bring to the correct drive he went off drive in there yard and ditch made ruts then turns wheel real hard and jacknives the tow truck and my car falls off the tow into the street and damages my front number and plates. I called they said pay tow and they will settle damages after so I did now they are refusing to pay and making up lies the owner Jim was rude obnoxious and screaming at me and calling me names. I offered to go less than estimate and he laughed and again started screaming rude stuff on phone. It’s been over a month and I’m still not getting any response. Next will be small claims. Please do not use this business for towing he his horrible!
We called for a tow and they were very friendly and responsive. We so appreciated it. We ended up canceling when the car started. They were still friendly when we canceled. Mulligans will be our first call if we have trouble again!
Best service I've had in a long time. Very nice and quick response . Needing a tow on a holiday and it being nighttime, I wasn't charged anymore than a Monday afternoon would have cost. That was a complete surprise to me. I would highly recommend this company in a heartbeat. Thanks again Mulligan's.
I am from out of town not familiar with the city. They generously picked me up after work, picked up my car and recommended anauto body repair that provided a new radiator for my car. I would recommend this business any day. Thank you again.
We were stranded with a flat tire on the way to the airport in St. Louis and the lug nuts would NOT break loose. After numerous phone calls with no luck, we called Mulligan's and told them we had to catch a plane and that no one else could help, for whatever reason. He was there in no time and got us back on the road. Very grateful for the prompt and professional service!
They took more than half an hour to come, despite being less than a mile away from us. There was a car that stalled at a red light at a busy intersection and we stopped to help. Mulligan's knew that the car was in the middle of a very busy road, but still took their time getting to us. 30 minutes to go less than a mile to pick up a car in the middle of a busy highway. Unnacceptable. The person we called and the tow truck operater were very nice, but it took way too long for them to get a truck out, especially since they knew the stalled car was on a very high-traffic street.
This morning my car shutdown and broke down in a busy corner or Springfield. I live 3.5 hours away. After calling multiple tow truck companys, one which said it would take 3 hours to get to where I was, I called Mulligan's. They came there in 30 mins. The driver was very professional and very empathetic to the situation. I did not catch his name. But he picked up a silver Hyundai Genesis at around 7am today. He was a damn lifesaver! From what I witnessed today...it's crazy to see these low reviews on here. Thank you!
Today is Sunday. The car is dead and Jim has come to look and see what's wrong. We called him and said would you wait 25 minutes while we go home and get the extra keys so we can take the handicap sticker out of the car while we are going on vacation. So Jim, with a smile on his face, said he would wait outside the shopping center. When we returned he had figured out what was wrong. He drove the car home to his shop and is storing it and helping us while we are on vacation. This man deserves your business!!!
The trailer park is contracted with MULLIGAN'S ILLEGAL TOWING to remove cars that are parked 'against the rules'. Example: Someone leaves their car parked on the street after 11pm, it gets towed. park your car IN your front yard - towed. park on side of street with sidewalk blocked - towed. Park with 2 tires in grass and 2 tires on driveway - towed. MULLIGAN'S ILLEGAL TOWING is in the habit of cruising up and down the trailer park streets, sometimes every half hour, during the night. They'll stop at one driveway, someone will get out and literally walk around LOOKING for a reason to tow a car, so they can then charge 170 fee to get it back. This is an ILLEGAL practice.
I got home last night at 12:45am, and parked the car on the right-hand side of the driveway. My federally legal accessible parking placard was hanging, as it ALWAYS is, from the rear view mirror, in plain sight. Apparently someone from MULLIGAN'S ILLEGAL TOWING saw me pull in, because no sooner had I flipped the porch light off were they hooking up my car and hauling it off. Their reason?? Because my right front tire was 1.5 inches over the edge of the driveway. That would be the tire that's nearest the house, so they would have HAD to get out and walk around looking for an excuse to tow. The tire wasn't even touching the grass!
Neighbor gave me a lift to the gas station so I could use Kara's phone to call MULLIGAN'S ILLEGAL TOWING. If you think my typed tirades against bigots and Luddites was cutting - you don't EVER want to be within 20 feet of me when I'm this angry. The phone call did not go well - for them. They said they don't *have* to look for a parking placard after midnight - but there was nothing to 'look' for. It was hanging right there, off the rear view mirror. Not only did MULLIGAN'S ILLEGAL TOWING steal my car in a completely Illegal move, but they stole my parking placard - and that, ladies and germs, is a FEDERAL OFFENSE. Both my father and I have ABUNDANT documentation regarding our illnesses/disabilities which requires us to have a parking placard. So not only do I not have transportation, but now I don't have the placard to place in someone else's car so they can legally give me a ride anywhere, either.
This guy does not always make an honest living and does not mind taking advantage of people. Be careful he is not a nice guy. He can not wait to tow you. He stalks trailer parks so be very cautious and read park rules. He towed my friends car from a christmas party. 170.00 the signs were not very visible and were as you entered the trailer court. (bissle trailer court) I have since heard this happening to several people. apparently he has also hooked up to people early and refused to take there cars down, attempted to run them over, they had to call police. I just want the public to beware of trailer park rules. and know the type of person this guy is.
They like to hook up to cars on a street that has no parking after 11 p.m. before 11p.m. and wait the few minutes refusing to unhook until the time then they raise it up and get out and tell you $85 to drop it which is technically car theft. If this happens to you stand in front of vehicle and call the police, I did and guess what I didn't have to pay a penny.
