They towed my son's car and wanted to charge him $500 for the tow the car was totaled then they said give them the title and another $150 They don't even need guns to rob you at this trash business Never do business with them They are the worst then my son posted a bad review and they told him to take it down and they will work with him because they didn't want the bad review posted obviously so they can keep robbing people
I've used Winks Towing a few times and have always had wonderful service. They're very pleasant to deal with, always helpful, and they actually try to save you some money any way they can.
I flew into Bloomington airport December 14th. It was -24 and my ride couldn't pick me up and my battery was dead. While I was still on the plane I called and Kyle I believe his name was said he was working. He said he'd pick me up at the airport. He took me to my car and started it. He put my luggage in my car and cleaned my car off. I will forever be grateful. There are some very good people in this world. Thanks again!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We were in a bind. Our car broke down and we are in Bloomington from out of state for Christmas. We called Joe’s towing company first thing Monday AM. We were told our car would get picked up and towed to the dealership that day. Then, we got a call around 4:30 PM, letting us know it would get picked up first thing Tuesday. Tuesday morning we called Joe’s at 8:00 AM and were told it would be 9:00 AM pick up as their guys were just arriving at 8:00 AM. 10:00 AM came around so we called back. They told us that they had other priorities and couldn’t give us an ETA. So, we called Winks! Thank you!!!! Our car was picked up and towed within 30 minutes. This was a big deal as there is a time urgency to get the car to the dealership as the part needed to get ordered and the vehicle needed to get squeezed in prior to the Holiday. Wonderful professionalism and customer service.
I just wanted to say thank you and biggest gratitude to the driver who rescued my elderly mom and niece today! She was stranded in downs at a gastation!! She called the first towing co who overpriced her just to move her car from a ditch 50ft to a gas station and wouldn't take her home !! So a huge thank you and God bless you
Highway robery. I was literally towed approx 1 mile and was charged 250 dollars. This was. Taking advantage of me by charging absorbent prices. Not very ethical. The driver pulled up and hooked up the car while me and my dog were still in the car and didn't even speak to me and price was not given until he dropped the car at the auto shop .
Winks personnel are the best. Very professional. To me they went out of there way, above and beyond. They quickly came and towed my vehicle to the garage I requested. They asked me to leave the keys in the vehicle so they could put them in the drop box for me, saving me the hassle of driving there just for that reason. Thank you folks. I appreciate you all.
Winks to the rescue! Had my vehicle hit while in Chicago. Car was not drivable and wasn’t sure who in Chicago I could rely on to get the vehicle back to Bloomington. I reached out to Winks and the owner called me personally to discuss the situation. Within 24 hours my vehicle was back in Bloomington at the body shop. Worked with John over the phone to get my 2011 Kia Soul towed to Grosso’s garage. He was super nice and made getting the tow set up really easy and for a reasonable price.
Jordan came in a timely manner with the tow truck and backed it right into my long very awkward driveway. You could tell he’s done this plenty of times. He was also very nice and made the process stress free. Paid cash and he texted me the invoice to send to my insurance.

I used Allstate roadside for the first time for my flat tire the night before and needed it towed 9 miles away to my mechanic. Allstate linked me up with Winks towing. From start to finish it was just so easy to work with them. Jordan was so nice on the phone. went from Bloomington to basically minonk to tow my Bronco 9 miles to benson plus I had it locked and had my keys lol. Wednesday was a day. Headed to the gym in my 76 Vette, hit the ATM and my steering breaks. Hagerty botched it…two hours in and I call WINKS…chat with Jordan and Matt and they say sit tight we got you. I call Hagerty cancel with them, inquire on reimbursement and high five Jordan for the service, I find them to be quality, kind and clean!!! Hagerty hellllo CALL Winks!! I appreciated a person not an 800# with an agent in a foreign country…sorry Statefarm if you’re going to serve Classic Car Owners, you need US based agents ….statefarm now owns Hagerty I’d grade the a D and F on their last two towing requests. Had vehicle towed to a tire shop recently. Had never used or heard of Winks previously. Winks did a great job from conversations with the office/dispatcher, to the driver Jorden. Both very professional, great communications, no issues at all! All happened in about an hour which was much appreciated. Winks also works with State Farm insurance whereas they bill SF directly. Very convenient if you have SF Ins. Thanks Winks for a job well done!
5/5 for such great customer service! I just needed a tow for my car that didn't make it too far from home. The driver, Matt, was friendly and nice. I live in an apartment complex and he double checked with me to see where to drop off the car. Everything was done in a timely manner considering the crazy heavy rain that covered my side of town for a while. It was like as soon as it stopped raining they were there. Next time I need a tow, I know who to call.
This was our Tuesday morning Dirk and I… We had a front drivers side tire blow on our ZO6 Corvette this morning. I was traveling behind him in our truck when this occurred. We got off immediately, on the Veterans Parkway exit ramp. We parked the vette and we came home to figure out our next strategy. We called Wink’s Towing and spoke to John. We had an estimate and when we arrived back to meet John, he was already there.. Dirk said “He’s already there Trace”. He was there before we got back to it . First thought was wow that was quick. John explained how he was going to tow the Vette He dollied the vette’s back wheels (I called them training wheels) and that made Dirk confident and calmer and extremely pleased with Johns towing of the Z06 to our home. He earned Dirk’s trust and respect and we are so thankful for everything!! Your business card is in our insurance card holders in both vehicles now. I was traveling from S. TX. to N. Il. when I got a flat tire and had no spare. Winks Towing was recommended to me by Discount Tire with whom I have my tires warrantied through. They said in their experience, the privately owned company had much better service than the larger corporate competition. I believe they were correct. Jordan was there within 10 minutes and had me and my car to Discount Tire within 20 minutes of my initial call. He was polite and a super pleasant young man! What can be a somewhat stressful situation was eased by Jordan's calm and confident demeanor. As a solo female traveler, feeling safe in the passenger seat of a vehicle with someone I've never met before but had to depend on in that moment made the me so much more comfortable. If I could leave a 10-star review I would! I had a flat today on 55 S in Bloomington, two hours from home, but at the perfect spot for help! I first called the nearest tire repair place I found, but they stood me up and left me stranded for over an hour, even after telling me they would be right there. I finally gave up and called Winks and they were there within 15 mins and had me back on the road 10 minutes after that. The gentlemen who came to my rescue was polite and professional.
I recently hired Winks to help with charging a battery and towing a vehicle to a new storage facility. They were awesome to work with - responsive to my needs, communicative, flexible in scheduling, and excellent on the service provided. Jordan made the whole experience simple and positive. I can't say enough good things about this tow truck service! Despite an impending snowstorm, they went above and beyond to flatbed my car for a long-distance tow.
