I have been waiting outside for 2 hours this morning in 40 degree weather. I had 3 different locksmiths come out and all 3 couldn’t unlock the car. But as soon as i called this towing company my problems were fixed. 5 stars quick, easy and were able to unlock my car in minutes. As well as we’re flexible with cash. Dispatcher Brad and driver Lane came through after dealing with my insurance all day just for a battery jump. I was on the phone canceling the service for the day then Brad called saying, I want to help you get this taken care of. The driver is on his way way now and we can tow your car to where you want. Lane was very nice, professional, used the cables, then towed my car on a very cold night. Thank you Brown’s Towing for coming through when it counted. Earlier this month had an incident in the evening at the Greenbriar Walmart (locked car with the key inside smh). Called Brown's and was told a service arrival estimate of approximately 30 mins which is understandable. About 15 minutes after the call, the tow personnel arrived and opened the door in a flash! Really happy and satisfied with the service and the rate of charge. I also appreciate the additional information from the post-service call!

Called for a tow after a breakdown and was told would have to wait til next morning which would have been fine. While trying to make those arrangements around my work schedule, Brad said he actually could get someone there in 15 minutes. Met Jake at my vehicle and he was super nice. He made a bad situation seem not so bad after all. We realized we knew alot of the same people in town. He quickly had my truck loaded and on the way to the dealership. Thankful for the quick, courteous help Brad and Jake provided after a horrible start to my day. Will definitely recommend Browns to anyone!
I live in Chicago, my daughter attends school at ISU. On one of the coldest days of the year, she was unable to start her car. Her and a friend tried but were not successful. Of course she calls home and I googled a towing service that had the best reviews ~~ Browns towing service ~~ I spoke with Brad he said he’d be happy to help however, the university offers that service free. Sure enough within 10 minutes my daughters car was running and it did not cost us a dime thanks to the kindness of Brad. He did not have to tell me about the free service but he did. I called Brown's Towing to tow my vehicle from my home to the dealership. Living in an older neighborhood with a shared drive, our driveway is very narrow with only a few inches of clearance on either side. Jake, the towman, expertly backed his flatbed wrecker up the drive, and together, we were able to get my SUV out of the garage and onto the flatbed (we were working with minimal space). Jake was great to work with and very professional!
I recently had to get my truck towed because of a dead fuel pump. I called and within 20 minutes they were there and even spent about 10 minutes trying to start it. Well, the pump was totally corroded, and they got my truck out of a very tight parking space with ease. They were very professional and knowledgeable, and I really appreciated it. This was the first time I had to have a vehicle towed. Hopefully I never have to call a tow truck again, but if I do, I will call Brown's.
After a long flight I came home to find my car with a dead battery. I randomly called Brown's and am certainly glad I did! The speediness and professionalism, along with good old fashion kindness I experienced was outstanding! I was feeling somewhat embarrassed already for leaving my inside light on but the gentleman from Browns went above and beyond to assure me that it "happens all the time."
After getting my car running he then said he would wait at the airport exit to make sure I came by an that everything was OK and my car was operating as it should. Well upon leaving we missed each other but about 10/15 minutes later I get a call from the gentleman just to "make sure" I was OK and the car was operating as it should.
As I write this review, the ONLY negative thing is that I only have the option of 5 stars! This kind of service is just not found anymore unfortunately, Again, thank you for your outstanding service!!

Requested a tow due an engine oil leak. Browns came out to my house, took good care of my car by rolling it out of the garage and onto their flatbed truck since there was no oil in the engine. They dropped it off at the auto shop I requested and was very professional and stayed in constant communication during the whole process. I highly recommend using Browns if your vehicle needs a tow or any roadside assistance.

Recently, I had a great experience with Jason! The UV joint on my truck decided to let my drive shaft go right in the middle of the intersection of Route 9 and Prospect! Jason was there with the flat bed in about 10 minutes to hoist my truck up and give it a lift to Midas to be repaired! Jason was extremely helpful, kind and willing to go the extra distance to help me out. Had a break down on the interstate last week. I called Browns. I was 25 miles from town. Jason with browns showed up quickly and got me back to town and to the repair shop. Great guy, very professional and clean cut. The truck was clean and orderly. Price was good too. Definitely will use Browns again if needed.
Amazing service! Our wheel bearing on the boat trailer burned up on the interstate. They were out there so quickly and took extra care, especially when it turned out our trailer was almost too wide for the flatbed (see the picture where they put the wheels up on the rail). I'd use them again and recommend them in a heartbeat! Thanks for saving the end of a great boating day!
The tow truck driver Jason came out very quickly and professionally hooked up my car. He was very nice and very personable. He made a bad experience much better with his good attitude and good personality. I will highly recommend him and his company to anyone needing a tow service in and around the Bloomington Normal area. I will definitely be using them again when the need arises.
Just had my car die on me in a restaurant parking lot, and my insurance company sent Brown’s over to jump my car. Jason came to the rescue AHEAD of the estimated time of arrival, got right to work, and explained the issue. Upon discovering a failing alternator, he offered his towing services (even though he was already working overtime) and stuck around until I could get ahold of my insurance company to see if I could use Brown’s to be towed home. Was very kind, got me home safe, and put my car down in a spot that would be convenient if I were to need it towed from there again. I really appreciated his help and will definitely use Brown’s for any future towing I may need. Thank you Jason!!!
I called Brown's to tow my car 4.9.18 and they arrived very quickly - within 30 minutes of my calling. The driver, Frankie, was very professional and kind. He made a stressful situation a lot easier with his kind words. When he dropped my car he put it in a good location for the dealer's service team, so they wouldn't have to push it very far. Brown’s is the quickest and more reliable towing service in the area. After waiting 2.5 hours for a different wrecker, I called Brown’s. They responded in less than 10 minutes and had me back on my way. Brown’s is reasonable, professional, and courteous. They understand our time is valuable and won’t give us a time frame that they can’t make. I’ll never use another tow company again.
My car died this past Sunday morning. I called a few places and they were either closed or did not have drivers available. After calling Brown's they sent someone out in a timely manner and the service was timely and the price was great. I would recommend and will be using Brown's for all my future towing and car service needs.
I’ve used Browns twice in the last 6 months for towing work trucks. Both times they were there within an hour and a half, friendly, very professional. They also helped me get to a mechanic who was able to get our truck in right away. Great job guys! Next time I need a tow we’ll be calling!
I had to have my jeep towed to a local transmission shop and the shop called Brown's for me. I didn't know what to expect as I am not from around the area, but they were very helpful and friendly, and they showed up very quickly. I believe the drivers name was Brad but he showed a lot of courtesy and I really appreciated working with them. I would recommend them to anyone needing towing assistance.
I was stranded in 10 degree weather this morning at 6am. I called Browns Wrecker service and he was there before I could even finish my coffee. Mr Brown was professional, very polite, and clean. His tow truck was immaculate (inside and out). You can tell a lot about a company by how they maintain their vehicles. I recommend highly.
The driver was helpful. He charged only what he said he would charge, no extras. No I didn't like paying $200. But I was happy I wasn't taken advantage of. They hauled my car off the interstate and held it in their storage yard til I could get there to pick it up. All went as promised by the driver. I'm glad I found them on Google maps.
having used brown's wrecker service many times, as recent as this morning actually, i can honestly say that i have never had a bad experience with them. i've been towed from the highway, in town, at odd hours, doesn't matter. they are always professional and courteous each time and i recommend them highly.
