While I was driving my husband’s truck, I noticed the tire pressure light came on and I was frantic when I realized the pressure read only 11 PSI. I promptly called the guys at B&B who were able to fit me in between school pickup and cheer practice. Upon inspection, they discovered a giant metal tire weight (who knows) and let me know they wouldn’t be able to patch the tire. They were honest, professional, efficient, and gave me several options to order a new tire and swap the spare to the matching wheels. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or talked down to as can sometimes be the case when a woman walks into a repair center. I appreciate them accommodating me in a convenient manner and will continue to use them as we have been since we moved to Spring Grove. Thanks guys!
The over night checking employee that takes care of the Cunat properties for over 13 years… I heard he is a great employee. Just one question how does one “great” employee not notice a sticker since last January? Also, the three men that work with 1 customer at a time… bullying a woman and telling her to get cash when your website notes you take credit is just out right harassing. Calling the police and holding my car or actually steeling it because you had my cash at that point, until the police came only to be told you were wrong and to give me my car now and not bother them for reasons like a woman advocating for herself against three men who just laughed and took their time assisting me and literally not adhering to their own policies. I could have paid by credit…Even if I had or did not have a sticker your treatment to me as a human was disgraceful. I would never call a client and tell them after a year they owe me any money as I was not doing my job until that day and then treat them as if they are less than just because they think they can.

My experience with B&B Auto Center was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The level of rudeness, dishonesty, lack of communication, and flat-out incompetence I dealt with over nearly FOUR MONTHS is unbelievable.
Timeline of Their Incompetence My 2015 Audi A3 broke down on August 25, 2025. I called at 1pm for a diagnosis — they didn’t bother calling back until 3pm. They claimed it was a bad timing chain but couldn’t give me a price because they “had to call around.”
The next day, after more chasing, I was quoted: - $1,275 labor - $2,900 for the timing chain
When I said that was too high, I was told, “I’m not comfortable putting aftermarket parts on an Audi.” My car already had aftermarket parts. Suddenly, on September 2nd, they “found” a timing chain on eBay for $883 and said it was coming from Germany. I was forced to put down a $1,000 deposit before they’d even touch the car.
I delivered the deposit, plus oil, an oil filter, an oil plug, and coolant.
Weeks of Excuses, No Work Done The part arrived September 15th. I called constantly and got nothing but excuses. On October 22nd, I was suddenly told my camshaft was broken and quoted $2,386. I found the same parts myself for $440 and had to ask for a picture just to confirm the match. When I tried to drop the parts off on October 31st, they had closed early without notice.
More weeks passed. No progress. No communication. No accountability.
When I asked for a loaner because I was missing work, I was told it would be $50 per day.
False Promises & More Delays On November 21st, I was told the car would be done that day. It wasn’t. Then I was told Saturday. Saturday came — no answer. Monday came — another excuse (“the mechanic was sick”).
Finally Got My Car Back — December 19th After NEARLY FOUR MONTHS, I finally got my car back after paying $4,404.14.
They returned it with barely enough gas to reach the Mobil station down the street.
Unauthorized Charges Here’s what they charged me WITHOUT EVER discussing or approving it:
The ONLY pricing ever discussed upfront was the timing chain and $1,275 labor. Everything else was added behind my back.
And the Car Was STILL Returned in Worse Condition On the drive home, I immediately felt a wobble in the front end. Once I got it into my garage, I found:
- Leaking hood lift (hood doesn't stay up) - Heat shield falling off - A WOOD SCREW stuck into my radiator cover - Driver-side doors misaligned - A poorly touched-up paint chip, other chipped paint & damage - Driver-side wiper twisted
After four months, thousands of dollars, and endless excuses, they returned my car in worse shape than when it was picked up
Joe came to pick me up at Costco and before he arrived communicated effectively clearly. He immediately jumpstarted my car and then followed me all the way to the dealership to make sure that I got there properly. Exceptional service and a great way to treat a customer.
Was having trouble getting my steering wheel swaped. Was in and out with the job completed in less than 30minutes. Thank you guys for your professionalism!
You guys DO NOT TOW enough vehicles from the Willow Brooke Apartment Complex. You could basically be making a killing daily there. Writing this on behalf of everyone that’s sick of the unauthorized vehicles parked there on a DAILY BASIS. My review will change to 5 stars when I start seeing results.
Been here twice, the first time was getting new tires on and they were honest about popping one and replaced both with new tires! The second time a tire needed to be patched and they did it for free!!! These guys are great, honest, great prices and they actually care about the customers. I highly recommend them to everyone, their towing service is great too.
Everyone is so nice here! First time I came the guy did my oil change for free because I brought my own supplies. I have been coming back ever since for any maintenance on my vehicle they are very accommodating with people schedules I called at 3:30 freaking out because something was wrong with my truck And they were able to help me same day at 4 o’clock definitely recommend coming here!

Awesome experience . I had a visor I was trying to replace because U-Tube was showing it to be so easy. Well never believe U-Tube it was not that easy. I had the visor 1/2 off and was not able to complete the replacement myself. I live in Spring Grove so I decided to drive over . A nice young girl got her father to come out to help me. Super nice people and very appreciative of his help and kindness. Highly recommend

I thought my morning was going to be a rough one since i got my car impounded (totally my fault. Put my sticker in my tinted area of my vehicle) i should have known better since my apartment lot has a sticker system and the tow trucks run late night. I should have thought it should have been in a more visible spot to be seen at night for the tow truck driver. I mean it is dark and late and if i cant see it at night the tow truck driver cant either. The lady at the desk was super helpful and very knowledgeable about everything. She explained how my vehicle was towed and advised me to place my sticker on the passenger bottom of my windshield where it is totally visible even at night. Im glad they took good care of my car and if i ever need any towing needs i will be calling them for sure!
Horrible customer service, the woman who answers the phone is extremely rude and blamed the customer when the repairs aren’t done correctly. I spent $900 here and my car still had the same issue that it came in with. Their solution was that I should keep my car here longer so they could continue to fix other things, when they’re the ones who diagnosed the issues in the first place.
I used B&B Auto Center for a towing service today. I was driving home with my daughter from Wisconsin Dells back to Chicago and got a flat tire on the highway. It’s not easy to find help on a Saturday evening, and after spending two hours on the phone trying to figure out what to do, I finally found the right company. They were quick, professional, and extremely helpful. Arrangements were made smoothly, and I felt so relieved. I truly appreciate the outstanding service I received from B&B Auto Center. These pirates stole my car off of a public street and I had to pay $300 cash!!! Tried to tell them they made a mistake, now they won't take my calls or return my money! I filled a police report and am waiting for our management company (for our building) to reach back out to me. Our building manager called them and told them that the spot they stole my car from was not part of our property. These people think they can get away with just snatching cars indiscriminately off the street and that they can just steal your money, on top of stealing your car. less than an hour to close, called them up after noticing my my steering was 'off' TPMS light came on on the way there as i was rapidly losing air in steer tire. Literally worked me in and got me back out within 20 minutes. Couldn't recommend this kind o service enough

Was WAY overdue for an oil n filter change! Was given a recommendation from a friend and I couldn’t be Happier! Walked in and was greeted by a very sweet young lady. She took my information, keys, n said I could wait there or come back later. I waited but not very long long at all! Assuming it was a Father n Son, but they informed me of a few issues with my car (I was already aware of), offered if I wanted to schedule it to be fixed, (needing new tires)…they was Very quick…most places I’ve went to don’t take the time that they did. For those of you looking for a reputable towing company, be careful before using B&B Towing & Recovery.
Between the hours of 2am and 3am on Saturday, 4/5/25, they stole my vehicle from my residence, damaged one of my wheels, and brought it 45 minutes away to Spring Grove under the guise of “not having a Parking Pass Sticker in the Window.”
How convenient…
The parking pass issued to me by my management company was present in the top/left/rear window when the vehicle was released as well as newly created damage to my wheel from a “go-jack.”
I was billed $390 in total. $300 for the “recovery” and $90 for an “after hours fee.”
The “after hours” pick-up time was 11am-noon.
The pick-up time caused me to miss my work shift for the day.
Upon paying the CASH ONLY fee, I went to inspect my vehicle, only to find the damage.
I attempted to speak with the individual that drove my car out of the lot, and he scurried into the office.
These people are dishonest, unprofessional and rude.
I immediately attempted to re-enter the building to prove my car was illegally towed, and complain about the wheel damage - the front door was locked!
Let’s review: -You stole my car without cause. -You damaged my wheel (as clearly pictured). -You prevented me from going to work. -You forced me to spend $50 on a 45 minute Lyft ride to Spring Grove -You held my car hostage while I tried to prove that the sticker was in the vehicle. -You showed me dark shadowy pictures trying to prove cause for towing my vehicle. -You stated to my management company that I brought a bag and installed the window sticker after pick-up. -You will not provide a copy of the photos taken at the time of tow after multiple requests, stating they are confidential. -You hang up when I continue to try and call for a resolution.
What do you have to hide?
I have exhausted all of my efforts to resolve this issue in person/over the phone and must now seek assistance in Small Claims Court.
Excellent service! I took my car for an estimate close to lunch time, and was given their undivided attention, a quick estimate, and options for repair (despite interrupting their own time for lunch). We decided to move forward and the total time without my vehicle was only 1.5 hours for a full bumper replacement, which looks great! I trust their opinions, appreciate their attention, and value the quality of their work. Highly recommend.
I live in Chicago and was currently in Wisconsin for a weekend getaway. We saw my car had a major oil leak and we needed to figure something out quick. We were able to drive it 30 minutes to my friends house because it wasn’t drivable back to chicago. I called B&B and they were able to get me in THAT DAY! They explained to me what the issue was and repaired it in a day. It was a rear main seal break which is A LOT of labor if you didn’t know so the turnaround time was unbelievable. The customer service and prices are great! You can never go wrong supporting a family business. I encourage everyone to use B & B for any auto services.
