Today, James at Rex Towing did everything he could to get my car out of the forest, after a crash with minimal extra damage. Today, due to an accident we had a car towed by REX in McHenry. Long story short, the tow was quick and courteous. Additionally, when we had to go and retrieve all personal belongings, James went above and beyond to assist us. After we left, he called to say that he took one more look at the inside and he wanted us to know that he found the brand new jumper cables that we were looking for and that he will hold them at the front desk until we can get back to pick them up. My car died in the back roads of Wisconsin and wouldn't start at 3:45 am. I called Rex for a tow, got a price. Weirdly enough while I was waiting I tried to start it again and it started albeit in limp mode. I figured I'd try to make it home, so I called back and got the driver who was about 10 minutes away. He was very understanding of my situation and wished me luck on making it home. I will keep them in mind if I ever need roadside assistance again.
BTW, the other company I called was a 2 hour wait!
My coolant just drained all over the place and my car stalled with an over heated engine. I called Rex Towing and James came out to rescue me and my stranded car within 20 minutes. The entire tow took less than 30 minutes with hook up of the car. It was a speedy and pleasant experience. I will definitely be using Rex Towing again if needed in the future!!
Highly recommend using Rex Towing for any Towing needs you might have! We had a boat trailer break down on the the way home from a long day on the river. AAA was a no call, no show despite numerous attempts to get them out. We waited for 5 hours until finding Rex Towing online. One phonecall and he was there within 30 minutes, had us loaded up and home within the hour. James went above and beyond for late night on a Sunday. Very impressed with his customer service and speed. He was so friendly and cheered us up after a stressful evening. You are definitely safe with Rex Towing.

When I called Rex Towing of McHenry Illinois, dispatch was clear and responsive and very efficient - explanation of expected time of arrival was accurate to the min. Communication on arrival was proficient by receiving a call from field tech (James). James was safe communicative and proficient at his job based on his questions - after a few min. James had my vehicle open and unlock…. James further assisted my ability access my vehicle to assure starting. I had key fab issue is what James determined and was very help in suggesting proper way to repair.

Huge thank you to Rex’s Towing and their driver Ben!! After the alternator went on my Audi I called for them to give me a tow about 15 miles. They were there within an hour and Ben took care of my car with a very professional and caring manner. Will definitely recommend everyone to give them a call if they’re in need.

My car wouldn't start yesterday so had to leave it. Called Rex Auto Body/Towing to take the car to the dealership. We arrived after the tow truck driver and he tried to start the car. James had the magic touch, car started no problem. He asked if we still wanted him to take it and we said no, we would drive it. He was extremely HONEST!! Didn't sugar coat anything. I had a car accident yesterday morning (11/08/21). Rex's was called by Adams Auto Body to tow the car and pick me up. James was the driver of the tow truck. He was timely, professional, and pleasant. After getting my car on the tow truck (he made it look simple) James gave me a ride in the tow truck to the shop. The tow truck was really clean and comfortable. James was so pleasant and friendly during our drive. He actually made a bad day better. I would recommend Rex's to anyone that might require a towing service.
