Took my accord to JD for engine misfires on a recommendation from a friend after taking it to McGrath and getting a ridiculous quote. Had my car up and running in a day for a fraction of what Honda wanted. Will be using him from now on and recommending him to everyone.

JD is an amazing mechanic. He gave me his personal number to be able to send him videos of what was going on with my car and give me a rough estimate for what he thought was wrong. JD is also available when needed and has the best prices around for the care your car needs.
We brought an old truck in to JDs that we are considering buying. They were thorough and honest and took a lot of time with us explaining the work it will need and gave us print outs with details. We are very happy with their service and would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

JD's is awesome! I took my minivan to the dealer for a standard oil change and inspection. They told me I needed some of the bigger maintenance items such as Brake flush, transmission flush, fuel decarbon clean and a new battery as I came up to 70,000 miles. JD's was able to get me in same day at HALF the price of the dealer. Super nice guy and straight shooter. He looked over everything and confirmed what needed to be done. This is the second time I've used him, both times gave me great advice and work done at a fraction of the dealer. I would highly recommend JD's to anyone needing service!
These guys are fantastic. They give it to you straight and easy to work with. We needed a new radiator and guided us properly.

I have been going to Jds for years now. They are always up front and honest with the work that has to be done, and the work always gets done the right way. Nice people there and no surprises. They always notify me if they run into any unforeseen problems, and I appreciate that. I will keep going back to them for anything from oil changes to swapping out a transmission. They do quality work!

Took my F-450 to Ford dealer because of reduced engine power. Ford dealer said $ 3800.00+ to fix it !!!!!! Ford said they had to change the diesel particulate filter and some other things. I took it to JD's and they hooked up there computer to it and manually told it to do a clean/ Re-Gen. It freaking worked flawlessly !!!!!! My truck has been running like new ever since. They only charged me for a couple hours labor!!! Absolutely the most honest mechanics I have ever met in my life. I am so glad I went to this shop, they saved me 3800 bucks!!!! They have my trust 1000%. Unbelievable service at JD's. 5 STARS!!
What a fantastic Shop!! These guys are the real deal. My trailblazer would make a weird grinding noise when I would turn and after 2 other shops couldn't find the cause of the noise I took it to JD's. These guys had it figured out and fixed the same day! What amazed me was that they actually took time and explained everything they did and showed me exactly what they found and how they fixed it. They even showed me some other issues they noticed with my shocks and a ball joint. They told me which repairs I could wait on and which ones I should think about having done in the near future, they were completely on the level. This is how ALL mechanic shops SHOULD be! If I could give higher than 5 stars I would. They absolutely have my business for life! A+++++++++
Took my ford escape in for a shock replacement and was expecting to pay an arm and a leg for the cost of parts and labor. The guys over here were so friendly and patient with me as I had minimal knowledge of the work necessary to fix my escape. Not only was the job finished within the day, they also didn't charge me an arm and a leg for the repairs. I couldn't be happier with my new permanent mechanics there. I won't go to anyone else because the quality of assistance and assurance that this would be a job well done exceeded my expectations and everyone working there provided a friendly secure environment I felt I could trust. Watch out for this guy! I went in for a FREE ESTIMATE and he ended up CHARGING me over $200 of work that I NEVER AGREED TO. NEVER CALLED ME!!! ? He just went ahead and took it apart to diagnose the problem WITHOUT MY CONSENT! You mean ROYAL RIP OFF! Stay away from this place! ? ????????

Warranty work now problem . Going the extra mile as in (staying late to finish car for so I could go to work next day).He also takes care of multiple family members. All With Know problems . Sells Great tires and if you get them there when you get an oil change free tire rotation and balance . No brainer there. I just had an alternator done for a price that was lower then other places as well as a radiator. Also You can use parts from a bone yard to save money and there is a warranty on there as well.
JD's auto repair is a very friendly, very thorough shop! I own a fleet of six cars and I will drive out of my way to use this shop! I highly recommend their transmission flush as they ACTUALLY flush the transmission rather than change a portion of the trans oil as a lot of shops do! They also pay attention to the little details that make cars run and work smoother! Try them, I think you will be pleased too.
This Lake In The Hills hidden jem saved me a whole new spark plug and wire set by showing me that my FORMER repair shop had been trying to pull a fast one by leaving a wire loose and mimicking a need for a tune up. After just a few minutes with Dr. JD my spark plug wire was actually attached to the engine and I was on my way for $15 rather than $200! Thanks Jim and I will be telling all of my friends about your great service and family atmosphere.
