Excellent service. Honest, clean shop. Traveler and he done quick repair and got us on the road.

If I could give them more stars I would!!! These people have hearts of gold! My son was traveling home to Iowa from Alabama and hit a huge pothole on the interstate in Illinois blowing his tire, and I'm so thankful it happened near the exit to Ritter's. I made the call to them from Iowa and let them know what happened and they send out a tow truck to get him. He was towed to the shop about 4:50 pm. They looked things over and realized that the rim was also bend and was not able to have the extra tire we had in the trunk put on. So the owner called me and let me know this. He then offered to drive him to Salem (12-15 miles away) to a hotel, he waited while he was checked in and made sure he could do a late check out since they needed to find a rim before they would be able to get him picked back up. He made sure that my son and I both had him cell phone number so we could call if we needed anything. The next morning, they went to 2 different salvage yards and were able to find a rim that would work for his car. They got the rim and tire on, checked out the rest of the tires and took care of another one that was slightly affected. They had him on the road by noon. I was able to pay over the phone with a card no problem. The cost was under $300, including the tow. Then to top everything off, the owner called me to check in on his trip hours after, to be sure we were pleased and that things were going ok with his new rim and tire. These people felt like angels to me going above what they had to do, they even offered to go sit with him while he waited for the tow truck if that would help us feel safer. I'm so thankful there are good people left in the world!!!

Ritter auto repair is the only mechanic I use. They get it into the shop as quickly as they can. They pick my vehicle up then bring it back upon completion of service.

For the longest time my car was rattling thumping and clunking. 1 guy looked at it during an oil change. He said he seen nothing wrong and tightened it down. I wasn’t satisfied and took it to Ritter. 24 hours and 2 sway bars later, it no longer makes noise.

Our circumstances that led us to Gregg Ridder’s auto repair center were a true example of Divine intervention. His crew performed our repair with quality NAPA parts and ASE certified technicians. Accommodated our travel schedule with amazing efficiency. The pricing was VERY competitive with other non dealer shops I’m familiar with.My auto knowledge is not up to date for our modern vehicles. I know just enough to feel comfortable with shops and people like Ridder’s. Don’t let the rural setting put you off!You will be in GOOD HANDS! Thank you Gregg and crew!!

My engine light came on while traveling so I stopped in and they diagnosed the problem and sent parts in and got me back on the road within an hour. Very friendly people. Highly recommend!

I have no words to express my gratitude with all the staff of this place, especially with that gentleman so kind that in the midst of my nerves I did not have the delicacy of asking him for his name, I suffered a mishap and barely got here with my truck And in addition, towing a mobile home, he attended me almost during closing time, let them clarify only for the worse I barely speak English and even so with a lot of patience and professionalism, he attended me and explained to me that it was the transmission that he couldn't do more , but when I decided to march towards a dealer, my car stopped forever I don't want to remember everything that happened in my mind I passed in a completely unknown and broken place, he took care and was concerned beyond what was thinkable contacted me another being of light that it was the best crane service that I know to this day, and I also take care of my mobile home until I was able to solve my problem, that if I recommend them, imagine that I still don't know why God took me there, surely it was for him to see that even the world can be a good place regardless of language or nationality there are people like them who are not only very professional but extraordinary human beings how nice it would be if they existed more people like that

The staff is friendly and they do their best to work with you on any issue including supplying you with a loaner so you're not without transportation while your vehicle is being repaired. Excellent service!!

My appointment was for an oil change & I requested Greg to look everything over on my 2020 Jeep Cherokee to see if there were any major repairs upcoming in the near future? When I returned Greg personally showed me pictures of everything he had fully inspected & he carefully explained what each revealed. His final conclusion was everything looked good, but he did recommend changing the fluids for preventative maintenance at my next oil change. I so appreciate the quality of service he showed towards my vehicle & the confidence I now have in my Jeep driving forward. There is no question I will return to Ritter’s Auto Repair for regular maintenance from now on. Thank you Greg. :)

Wonderful place to work with. Loved how they did a detailed thorough inspection complete with pictures and then walked us through what recommendations were as well as costs. I was well informed with any changes as my repairs were done and they even had a loaner I could use while mine was in for repairs. I am very happy with Ritter's and would highly recommend them.

Absolutely wonderful people that do an amazing job. I never have to worry about anything because I know that it was done the right way the first time. They don’t give up and just offer a generic response to an issue, they tell you exactly what was wrong and what they did to fix it. I trust them for all of my personal vehicles and I know they work on a lot of emergency vehicles as well. Everyone knows that you can’t play around with those and just let any old shop work on them. I have never been disappointed with them and you won’t be either.

Still had an hour of I-57 driving to get home when I had a car problem. Went to Ritter's Auto Repair just off a Google search, but I was very glad I did. I couldn't drive my car home, so they were able to provide me with a loaner. They did a great job of explaining my problem, and then fixing it when they got the parts.

Thankful to have Ritter’s Auto Repair as my go to vehicle repair. His vehicle pickup service from my house has been an awesome service for my family’s busy lifestyle. The mechanics do excellent work and appreciate his diagnostic service that shows my vehicle’s health.

I was visiting my family in Illinois from Boston and my AC died, I was looking at a 17 hour drive in 90 degree heat with 4 people in the car. I needed the AC fixed in 2 days to make it back home for work. Ritter's Auto was able to get my car in and get the repair made, really saved me a lot of pain. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. My husband and I were traveling north on 57, stopped for gas, pulled out and felt something snap on the brake pedal, no brakes! Luckily, our camper had brakes. Called Ritter's and we were assured they would take care of us. They found a pin that had come out and replaced it immediately. Back on the road in an hour. So friendly, reassuring, competent and professional. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Thank you Gary and Greg! You were our angels today.

We had an exceptional experience with this auto repair shop. Our cars transmission kept on overheating on our road trip. We called multiple places, including the manufacturers dealership, but no one was willing to take a look at our car on such short notice. We called Ritter’s Auto Repair and the agreed to take a look at our car once they learned of our circumstances, although the were busy as well. We are so grateful for the job well done and for getting us back on the road!

THANK YOU Greg at Ritter's Auto!! He is truly one of a kind. Stranded on the highway 6 hours from home and 4 hours to our destination and our car completely shut down. We stalled out on the side of the interstate and all the "major" auto repair shops nearby offered nothing. Called Ritter's Auto Repair and immediately knew I was in good hands. Told me that he would do everything he could to get us back on the road even if he had to stay late. After we were towed in, he had the problem diagnosed, part delivered and two hours later we were on our way. Just wished we lived closer because I would love to have him as my go to for all my auto needs.

So happy with the service I received from Ritter's! I recently had to have my van repaired, and had to have it towed to the shop. With all the work it needed, Greg made sure to give us specifics on the problem and had it taken care of promptly. We have found our vehicle doctor, and will continue to use all the services they offer. Great job Ritter's!

Driving from Wisconsin to Louisiana our van started acting up. Sputtering on the highway. Raining, sun barely about to come up, we pulled off the freeway to find help. Checked Google reviews and found Ritter Auto Repair with nothing but 5stars. We were able to limp the vehicle down to the shop at 8am. Greg (the owner) was able to get to get us back on the road by 10. He even ran for the parts himself to make sure we could get back on the road as soon as possible. Such great friendly service. Couldn't ask for better. Perfect car repair experience. If I lived in the area This is where I would take my vehicle every time. So if you are in need of repair and aren't sure where to go, call Ritter. Saved our trip.

We had an awesome experience with Ritter's. We were traveling from Wisconsin to Nashville when our car broke down on the highway. We had no idea where to go and were working with the insurance company over the phone trying to get a tow truck. They said we were going to get towed to Ritter's, but would have to wait along the highway for more than an hour before the tow truck could be there. We called Ritter's right away to see if we could even get in and if they'd be able to fix the car that day. Greg, the owner, went out of his way to help us out. He called a tow truck driver that could come get us right away. He drove out himself in a different vehicle to pick us up along with all of our luggage AND he called a car rental place in town and reserved a car for us to take so we could be on our way to Nashville. He dropped us off at the car rental place and we were on our way. Awesome customer service and such thoughtful people. They knew we were just passing through and would not be repeat customers, yet they went out of their way and were so caring. They treated us as if they knew us and we had been long time friends. If we lived closer, we'd go there for all of our car needs!

Traveling from Michigan to Texas we experienced a set back after refueling car would not stay on running. I goggled car repair shops near me I had one dealer shop near me called they said someone would come to help us with in that waiting period I called Ritter's and Audrey was very helpful when she answered our call. In 15 minutes our car was on the tow truck that Ritter's Auto Repair had coordinated. My car was unhooked worked on right away. Thank you Ritter's Auto Repair shop for having us back on the road with in an hour that air max control sensor was giving us lots of trouble since we started our road trip. Traveling from Chicago to Texas and had a blowout on I-57. Thankfully I found this place! Never dealt with any shop with this kind of customer service. They were very warm and welcoming! The owner himself took the best care of me. If it wasn't for Ritter's I'd probably still be driving my spare all the way down to Texas. Highly recommend this place to everyone!
