I usually don’t write reviews unless is for somebody who really deserves it.
Parked at rest area 15 miles south of Normal IL. to use a restroom ,came back and found out my volvo truck wouldn’t start.I was 90% sure it was starter.
Started searching for repair shops and came across C&C Mobile repair .
Called in and the guy Chance ( nicest guy ever)told me he could be there in 30 min and sure he was.
As soon as he came he started checking and looking for the problem before he jumps to conclusion.In a 5 minutes he found out that the starter was bad.He took the old one out ,went to Volvo to get a new one and installed it in 15 minutes.We were back on the road in no time.
Boy we were so glad that we came across this nice guy who answered and explained every question I had and most important he gave me the most reasonable price.

This guy earned my respect today. Not only did he come out to help me roadside, it was -6 degrees when he showed up! He worked on my semi truck only taking tiny warm up breaks to thaw his hands for few minutes and right back at it! He was out there in the cold a combined 8 hours getting my air system fixed. It was frozen up in several places with ice in the lines and fittings due to a dryer failure. He sent us the bill and I couldn't even consider haggling over it. He earned it. Definitely recommend him. He's unique, not very many tough and good mechanics these days.
He is the best! I called him to come check something out, he happened to be around where I was and didn’t tell me he was coming he just showed up to see if the semi was where we normally park! He fixed our issue in a matter of minutes. He is one of a kind and awesome! 100% recommend!
We called C&C on the recommendation of the Roady’s truck stop as our diesel motor home had a stop engine light. We NEVER received return phone call! We also texted him. I know things can get busy and we waited 3.5 hours before we investigated alternate plans. I can’t recommend this company at all! If you don’t work on motor homes, you could have had the courtesy to let us know.
The repairman that did my job did an excellent job. Definitely knew what he was doing. And got the job done fast. He deserves six stars, but they only allowed me to give him five

I was broke down early morning on a cold, rainy Friday morning along the side of a busy freeway. After googling repair shops close to me and calling them one by one as they opened up I quickly ascertained that getting a repairman out to my location wasn't going to be easy. I kept hearing "call a wrecker and get it here and we'll see when we can get to it." I held off on calling C and C because he was nearly an hour away. Finally I called them. Immediately after calling them I knew I called the right place. He knew right away what my problem was and what it was going to take to fix it. He gave me a time frame on when he would be there and how long it would take him to get me up and running. He was spot on with both estimates. This guy knows his stuff. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars. If you need mobile heavy duty truck repair, this is your guy.
I was traveling in a FedEx truck and broke down. Chance was a real cool dude and went out of his way to locate parts that I needed to be able to get back on the road. I definitely would recommend his services. He was definitely a blessing, no doubt, especially when I was so far from home.

Outstanding service. Had an air leak and thought it was the brake valve. He checked that, then sourced the part and headed out for it but then returned to double-check something else. He brought the brake valve ($400) and the park brake valve($20). Replaced the parking brake valve to see if that would fix it instead of going for the expense one first. That did the trick.
Can't say enough on how professional, knowledgeable, and expedient. Will be spreading the word to other drivers.

Had a water pump go out on Easter weekend so I had to wait until Monday to get the part. Chance however, was very prompt and went out of his way to get me rolling as soon as he could. I would recommend C & C to anyone traveling through Illinois.
I was skeptical of using c&c because it didn't have a high quantity of reviews. I'm glad I did. Chance responded to my service need in a reasonable amount of time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. If ever in need and in this area don't hesitate to give him a call.

**ROADSIDE HERO** Look no further for roadside repair! C+C was speedy, efficient, knowledgeable, and did a great job over all. Even called to follow up when back on the road. C+C turned a bummer and unsettling experience (flat tire on I-55) into a moment of brightness. Can't recommend highly enough! I wouldn't want this to happen again, but if it did, I would be so glad to know C+C is there for us.
