I was in the middle of a 3 hour trip and my check engine light turned on. I stopped here after another shop had turned me away. I pulled into their lot within an hour of them closing on a Friday. They helped me as if I had scheduled an appointment. They were very honest about what needed to be done and wasted no time doing it. A great place to be around when the dashboard starts lighting up.

I came here after having a flat tire and the customer service was top notch, from when I walked in to when I came out, everyone was friendly and very willing to help with my vehicle. The owner Calvin was very nice, considerate, caring, and respectful when it came to helping me. I was looking all around town for my tire size but he told me he can help me, we found a tire size close to mine and him and his team found a way to get it on at a great price that works worth me at that, so I can make it back home safely. 10/10 experience
Great service. Was driving from Chicago to Saint Louis on Martin Luther King day (holiday/long weekend) and my car suddenly alerted about low engine oil and recommended immediate oil change and refill on the console. Looked up for a oil change shop in Google and got connected to Coleman and Son. It was about 540pm(10 minutes after closing time) and they agreed to help me with my issue if I could get there in 10 minutes. I reached at 550pm and they fixed my issue in 5 minutes and that too free of charge since I was on the road looking for help. Amazing nature. Very courteous very professional. 5 star rating. Every time we’ve taken our vehicles here it’s been fantastic. They are fair, upstanding people. I had a concern with my vehicle and Dylan had me bring it down right when I called and he checked it all out immediately. It was a false alarm and he said no charge. That was a blessing having just gotten my windshield and two front tires replaced and he had no idea about that whatsoever. Love these guys, I recommend them to people all the time.
Calvin and his guys did a quality job and in hurry to replace the turbocharger on my wife’s Chevy trax I would recommend them for anyone that needs work done.
Calvin and Dillion were so helpful when my car broke down heading back to Kansas City for the Holidays. This was late afternoon on Friday and they were willing to fix that afternoon. Thank you guys again!!!!
Overall Great service! If it not for them, I would have a new car note! I blew out on the E-Way and they were able to help repair my vehicle within a couple hours!
Calvin saved the day when I got a flat tire. I was on my way to O'Hare when my tire started losing air, and I was worried I couldn't get it fixed in enough time to catch my flight. Thankfully, Calvin was one of the only ones who picked up the phone, had the tire patched so quickly, and I was able to make it in time! He really helped in an emergency and if we were local, this would be our go-to shop
Brought my wife van there per recommendation of family and I must say I was VERY VERY pleasantly surprised! Usually shops are trying to upsell you like crazy but not Coleman & Son. They not only gave me AN AMAZING price for a new radiator and an oil change but they were FAST! Also, VERY VERY nice people! I would highly recommend this place to get work done not only because theyre fair but also because I'm a HUGE supporter of smaller businesses. Thanks.
My husband, dog and I were making a three hour trip after some decent snowfall, and about halfway through my car's tire started leaking air. Not too many repair shops were open nearby on a Sunday, but Calvin thankfully answered! He met us at a nearby gas station and said he could patch it up for us at his shop nearby. He ended up finding a one inch metal shard lodged in the tire. Had us back on the road in about 20 minutes. Thank you, Calvin!

I wanted to give a huge, positive shout out to Coleman & Son Garage, Inc. - 24 Hour Towing . Katie and I were on our way home from the Chicago area last night and nearly had a tire blow out on the highway. I used it as a teachable moment with Katie and we tried to fix it. However, it was damaged beyond repair and Katie's car was designed to not have a spare.
Garrett made a couple phone calls and found Coleman & Son. You guys... this man was at home enjoying his weekend with family and got in his flatbed to come assist me and Katie. Calvin heard the panic in Garrett's voice and was on his way. We were about 15 minutes outside of Dwight. He made sure we were safe, got our car loaded, and drove us back to his shop. While in the tow truck, he talked about small town living and the importance of community and helping people. Calvin offered solutions if a tire was not available and assured us that we would be ok no matter what. He found a solution for Katie's tire that allowed us to get home this morning.

Calvin and his son rescued us from a blown water pump from two towns over. The car was fixed at a fair price and a timely manner. Dillon was great at communicating the issues and explaining the repairs.
We got a flat tire on a trip to Chicago and stopped here to see if they could fix it (we did not call ahead, and it was closing time on a Friday). They immediately agreed to check the tire for us but deemed it irreparable. They told us where to go and sent us on our way without charging us. Their kindness meant a lot, and we followed their directions, got a new tire, and continued our trip. Thanks again!
I had car troubles while on a trip, so I stopped at Coleman and Son Garage because Dwight was a larger town off I55. Dylan was so helpful. He was able to find the part, make the repair, and get me back on the road. He was honest, hard working, and went above and beyond to help me out. It was such a positive experience!

I broke down with two of my kids right before the exit to Dwight, while traveling back to Oklahoma! It was atleast 90° if not hotter. One of the guys that drives the tow truck was so nice to take us to the gas station to wait til he could return to tow my car to the shop.. it was going to be awhile before he returned but after a few hours one of the other guys at the shop was so nice to come and get us to take us to the shop to wait for my car to be fixed.. they were able to get the serpentine belt that broke and had it fixed pretty quickly and we were back on the road the same day! With this being my first encounter with them I can tell they're very honest and care about their customers! Thank you again for all your help!
Was passing through, lost drive belt due to seized tensioner. They got my vehicle in and found the tensioner, also my tires were bald. I wasn't expecting them to go the extra mile and offer to do my tires as well. When tires were removed, they also noticed my rear brakes were very low. Not only did they fix the main issue, but completed all repairs needed to keep my family safe on the road and had us done before 5 on the same day! Highly recommended this shop!
Truck broke drown while driving from Missouri to Indiana they were able to get us back on the road all in the same day. Also noticing some repairs that were needed to keep us safe. Super friendly staff and very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend.
I stopped in town today for work and tried to air up my tires at a local establishment but the nozzle was frozen and ended up letting some air out of my tires. The attendee directed me to Coleman & Sons. I drove there and they had me drive in the garage and took care of airing up all 4 of my tires for no charge. Wish I could give 10 stars!!! Calvin and Ryan were amazing. Stranded on the road, not only did they pick us up.. took us to their cozy warm lobby and worked quickly to get us back on the road. Professional, Courteous, Master Mechanics and Reasonably Priced.
Very thankful for Calvin and crew. Our battery and alternator ended up going out on our road trip and Calvin was able to get us fixed up and back on the road within a few hours. I just googled the closest mechanic and I'm so glad we ended up here! They were friendly, professional, and got us in and out much more quickly than we anticipated. Coleman and Son’s saved us from a huge headache. We had a tire leak and 4 more hours to go on our road trip. They answered super quickly and got the tire repaired in less than 10 minutes.
