We showed up around 12:46 and was told they were closed… online it says open til 1 and the hours on the side of the building also say open til 1. Don’t understand why they claimed to be closed

ABSURD. Every time “tare” weight is going up, even considering it’s the same garbage plastic bags I’m using to bring my aluminum Pepsi cans, wich is almost weightless. This time “tare” weight was even more than the weight of aluminum cans!!!

As previous ratings mentioned, ripping off the small guys like you and me it’s the way they do it. Most people just don’t look at the numbers. It’s time to start to do so.
Considering your website says closed at 5 why are they locking the gates at 4:55 and when asked if I could turn in scrap wire to the workers closing the gates they said no we are closed, what a joke but I’m sure the scrap price they would of given to me would probably be more of a joke if I had to guess. Got ripped off, clean #4 wire, only 30ct lbs, should be 66ct lbs. Take your scrap elsewhere. Plus they round up, so if get 5.90, you only get 5.00$, that's rounding down.
Pretty awesome salvage yard with friendly and swift service. I was recycling the old exhaust off my motorcycle after replacing it the week prior. When entering, another customer gave me a crooked grin and said, "Oooo that has a catalytic converter." I'm guessing that must be some sort of prize around these parts. He also complimented me on my "Walmart shoes", to which I informed him that they were actually Nike's and procured from Kohls. Lot's of forklifts moving around so the fear and curiosity of impalement was constant. Would scrap again.
These owners are thieves, they went in the back to weight my wires so i can't see how much was the total weight, they mix my wires with other wires and i couldn't get another fair weight.
Who ever goes here make sure to tell them that you want to see your weight otherwise you will be scammed.
A great place to bring scrap of all sorts. Very friendly staff. As soon as you pull up into a spot someone comes to see what you have and starts to bring your containers over. Often they will pay top price any metals. You can be in and out of there in a matter of minutes and they pay out in cash.
