I was recommended this place unfortunately I had a very bad experience, first of all the front desk lady is always very disgruntled & rude any time she answers the phone.
Went there to have rust repaired, they put bondo over it and it came back in less than a month. I had to take my truck back several times. First time was for the painted lump of bondo on the tailgate, then the rust on the quarter started coming back almost immediately, then they refused to fix the rust properly unless I paid more money. Ray finally said they can replace the quarter panel if i paid more, but that option should’ve been given from the beginning which it was not.
Just very bad quality work & bad customer service.
Put a intercooler and charge pipe on for me. Helped me when some other shops wouldnt. Great prices. Fantastic Communication they talked to me for hours after close. These guys will help you get what you need done and fast.
Extremely professional workers, by far best rates in the area. Tried to charge me an insurance rate even though I paid out of pocket after getting an estimate. It was thankfully resolved and yet I still ended up paying $400 dollars more than my original estimate when the owner came out to check the car. Extremely sketchy business practices and absolute lack of integrity from the front desk ruined my experience with R&M, I likely will go there again due to good prices, but I'll have to be more careful since I legitimately had no idea something that sketchy could happen in 2023
I have had 2 vehicles with small accident damage repaired here.
I was a little nervous because the work was done so quickly, but the repairs were of great craftmanship and have held up well. The price charged was very fair and reasonable, a lot less than other shops quoted.

A professional company where people still treat people like people and do the job they say they’re going to do, our experience with them has been nothing but the best. They took the vehicle in and had everything done in a timely manner. Repaired everything they said they would,through job. Would definitely recommend their services to others. I must say I am truly impressed with the quality of work this shop performed on my car. I obtained (5) different quotes to repair my 2010 Jetta fender and Bumper after an accident that left the Bumper hangiing on the ground (Had to duct tape it to prevent from draging). Not only was R&M one of the lower cost places, but did supurb work beyond my expectaions and the cost they quoted was the actual cost they charged me without any additional mark-ups. They even fixed a messed-up job another auto shop on Rollins Ave in Roundlake did! I will definatley be a repeat cusomter should I need additional body work on any of my vehicles. A true stand-up place I can finally trust.
I have brought several cars to Ray and his team. This time they did some frame repair and fixed the tailgate on my Jeep. Very happy with the work. Great job at a fair price, would highly recommend

Ray and Louise are absolutely phenomenal! They were super friendly, the shop is clean and they were very easy to work with. They handled my insurance company and all I had to do was pay them the deductible. The whole process couldn't have been simpler.
The work was done quickly, probably 4-5 days when they said up to 8-10 days! The quality of work was amazing, my car looks brand new! I can't wait to see what it looks like in the summer after a nice bath!

I’ve taken in 2 cars here. 1 for a front body paint job and one for front end damage through insurance. They got my vehicles in quickly and they do amazing work!
I don’t usually write a review, but I am so disappointed at the work done on my vehicle. The owner was unprofessional and rude. He basically threw the keys at me and was like take it and go. I have never received such bad service ever, I don’t recommend this place at all.
Wow! I’m so happy with my experience here! Went to a couple other places for quotes before coming to R&M, and not only did they beat the other quotes by hundreds of dollars, they also gave me the quote instantly. My sons car was in and out in 3 days, and has never looked better. Save yourself the hassle, and just go here first.

This place was great! My car was impounded at another lot after front end damage. They got the car from the other place and did the work within a couple of weeks, insurance was the delay. When I picked it up I met Ray, what an awesome guy! Loves his job, obviously. My car came back almost better than it was before the accident. They changed all the fluids and went the extra mile. If you go anywhere in Round Lake, this should be the place.
I took my crashed 350z to R&M i went around town to every body shop for quotes and most did not want to touch my car they said it was totaled and others gave me very high quotes to fix it. Ray gave me the lowest price in town! he made my car nice again i highly recommend this place.
I took my dodge ram there because i dented the rear quarter panel. Ray estimated on the spot and gave me a fair price.. He had my truck back to me in few days. They were courteous and professionally....
R & M did the body work and painted my 1952 MG - in pieces. When I put it back together, they buffed it, polished it, and touched up my little errors. The car looks terrific. I have had them work on some modern cars and they do a great job, and quickly, too!
