Guy was very rude and told me he would buy my ex’S tools when i got there he wouldnt even look at them said already had too many well why didnt he tell me that before i made the 45 min drive
Staff is very friendly and helpful. They gifted me a complimentary brand new modern clothes steamer retailed at 120. Didn't have much time to go around since I was on break, but they have lots of stuff, will check back in when I can.
My boyfriend and I walked in the store and was greeted by John. We were looking to pawn something of ours but was told that they don’t do pawn. John ended up buying what we had for more than what we would have pawned it for. So all in all we had great service .
Trader Jon's have some really cool items, and the staff is really cool, helpful with any questions you might have, attentive to customer needs, and willing to go beyond and offer services for gold and silver that other places (jewelry stores) charge double to triple for, like ring sizing, ect... lots of experience and wisdom behind this owner! 10/10
This is by far the best pawn shop in the lake county area they have the best quality products for their customers i highly recommend this place if you’re looking for anything a pawn shop may have it also seems to be family owned and operated and that makes it way better than any other corp operated pawn shop
Trader Jon’s is the best! Such helpful staff and they’re very knowledgeable with all the game consoles and video game selections! I went back to pick up a Nintendo switch game (brand new/unopened) they had for sale while the other competitors had it priced for more and it was used and opened! Thank you again team.
P.S. do not expect Trader Jon to be an old wizard ;-)
Great place to find deals and a little something unexpected. It’s fun to browse around the store and look at all the items available. The staff is super friendly and I even got a free handheld steamer. Definitely recommend checking out this place!

Trader Jons is where you go to find anything and everything! Purchased an N64 with multiple games and remotes and jumper packs in the past and all have been great! The one and only time I had a game that didn’t work I brought it in and they got it working in no time! Huge selection of games, consoles, instruments and other various collectibles! Definitely stop in and check them out!
Trader Jon’s truly works miracles! My partner had a bullet that was fired in honor of his great uncle’s service at his funeral, and I wanted to do something special with it. I took it to Trader Jon’s to have my partner’s initials and birthday engraved in bronze, and it turned out absolutely stunning. I’m so grateful — and my partner lovessss it! Jon is great! I went in for a watch repair, he explained to me he was really busy and would have it done in a couple days, or as soon as he could…. By end of the SAME day I had my watch!! Thanks Jon, love your store too. Keep up the amazing service

Total rip off! DO NOT buy video games here! His prices are insane. He has no actual knowledge about the market and will not even negotiate. He will tell you everything in his store is some rare impossible to find title as if you couldn't find it on ebay or marketplace for 50% less. Please go to a reputable retro game dealer if you're looking for this type of stuff. Pawn shops are not the place. They prey on people's misfortune and try to scam everyone else. What a scummy business model!
I went to trader Joe's I bought this unique cooker for a reasonable price. I went into his store and I was amazed the atmosphere was great and the management was very inviting if you are looking for a unusual item come to trader Jons and let me tell you this is the best place in town

Attempted to go and buy some Pokemon cards since I had seen some posted online. Took absolutely forever to get attended even tho there was only 1 other person in store aside from me , also , there was someone standing in front of me the whole time looking at me as if I was going to steal. The cards were extremely over priced. They wanted $50 for a $38 dollar card. Would definitely not recommend this shop if you want to get a good deal. Everything is very overpriced.
We have been to TJs many times and always have a pleasant experience. They have a great selection of merchandise and Jon and his employees are the best, super friendly and always willing to help find something. If you're looking to sell merchandise, they offer very fair prices.
Let me start this by saying Jon's customer service was impeccable. I recently ordered 14 Nintendo 64 cartridges from Jon. I was nervous for multiple reasons. Ordering these kinds of things online and getting them shipped (I live in Montana) only for them to come in damaged, not working at all, or for them to be fakes is an all too common occurrence for those of us who collect Retro Games... but Jon put my worries at ease! He opened up and cleaned all the pins for each of my games and even tested each one to make sure they saved! Plus he packaged them so snugly I actually had to put in effort to open the package and get to them. I was blown away with Jon's attention to detail, his willingness to answer any question I had and the fact that he had all of the games I wanted & they were original cartridges! None of that reproduction crap. Which was wild, as more than a handful of what I was looking for are pretty rare! All in all, I'd give him 10 stars if it were allowed. I will ONLY be shopping with Jon for all my future retro game needs. Love supporting small businesses, even from across the country! 10/10 would recommend supporting this place & Jon!
Working with Jon at Trader Jon's was a wonderful experience. He went above and beyond to answer all my questions when purchasing a gaming system for my kids. He took extra time to check all the games purchased with it to ensure that nothing was wrong with them and they would work properly. He put a package together for me that I can't wait for my kids to open on Christmas day. He even shipped to me because I was unable to make it into the shop. His concern with making sure the item was in great condition made me feel more like family and not just another sale.
