This is a honest review since they make everyone who just purchase a car to write a review. Considering they’re very nice upfront, i’m not surprise most reviews are positive. Most reviewers probably haven’t driven their car for over a month? I received a 2022 Chevy Malibu In late August 2025. Within the first week, the car started making a noise that gradually got louder. I payed to get it fix, whatever. I should’ve taken advantage of the warranty but that’s my fault. A week or two later, my car stopped on me while i was in a busy road (120). They send me to A-tire on Cedar Lake/Washington, they tell me it’s going to be a 2k repair that my warranty won’t cover. My mother ended up helping me, and somehow “magically” the 2k charge was being covered by the “district manager”? however, my car was tolled to the middle of indiana for about a week to get the repairs done. The whole process took most of the month of October. I asked Mike repeatedly, time after time, to email me a repair report for all of the repairs/maintenance they did on my car. I have not received it til this day. My car was working fine for a few weeks after that, until i started having problems with the car starting. I take it to right way to get my battery tested, they tell me it’s not the battery. I take it to A-tire to diagnose it, thinking it was an electrical problem of some sort. A-tire tell me it is in fact the battery. I pay $100 for the diagnosis and buy a cheaper battery elsewhere. Great, my car should be good now, right? Wrong. Not even a week later, the car started to shut down while i was on a red/stop. Go back to A-tire, they tell me i need a whole new engine. Thankfully, the warranty is covering it and supplying it. I’m thankful it’s getting fixed but this will be a second month i will not able to drive the car. Of course i still have to pay the regular monthly amount for the car. Getting a rental car has been difficult for multiple reasons. I really love the car, it has leather seats and tinted windows but the inconvenience of not having a working, functional car has been taxing me emotionally and financially. i’m a very independent person and enjoy driving myself to work/home from hangouts/ etc. I need to buy lyfts to and from work which adds up easily unless if i take the pace bus. It’s frustrating. With my warranty ending this month, i can only hope it doesn’t require me to pay out of pocket for dumb repairs.
If you’re thinking on investing in a car from Rightway, i would strongly recommend looking at other options first.
Mike was amazing at helping me answer my questions but other than that, They only cared about the money, had no information on any of the cars on what was wrong with them. You had to figure that out by yourself.
Well .. quite a few red flags .. looks like the card on the lot are throw aways dealerships couldn’t sell .. a Saturday & this place was dead .. not one customer.. 3 people in the establishment far as employees & I was the only customer their website does not list a single price for their cars .. the guy mike couldn’t even let my mom finish a sentence.. when I spoke to the guy 3 days ago he told me there would not be a hard pull on my credit & I was told just that when we sat down .. oh and after I originally spoke with Mike on the phone Thursday they called me lik a bill collector at least 4x in less than 24-48 hrs ..
So many positive things to say. Professional, patient, and they really do work with you. Not pushy at all. They are very laid back. We got the vehicle we really wanted with the best deal related to our situation. Thank you so much!
Mike and Ram were incredible and very helpful getting me financed. They made it happen! Sal made sure the car was equipped and ready to go! One minor issue and he fixed it right away!

They specialize in bad credit yet talk down to you like your stupid.The "finance guy" Angel tried to put me in a 12,000 $ tiny spark for $475.00 a month. He said do you think you can go somewhere else and get financed? I didnt do this to your credit (as he chuckles) Horrible experience. And to answer the question yes, Gateway will finance me through another dealership!!!! And I won't break my back paying for my new car. (Chuckles)

Honestly best experience I've ever had buying a car. Angel was very through, answered ask our questions, and found a great car that meets our needs. I recommend them for anyone that needs a nice and throughly checked new ride. Honestly live up to, the "RightWay" auto sales name.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Two days ago, my car broke down in front of my son’s school and I had work the NEXT DAY. I’ve seen reviews on google about rightway auto sales before so I decided to call. As soon as I called, I spoke with a salesman named “Angel” and he was awesome. He told me to come in and he was going to make sure that I was driving THAT SAME DAY. Might I add, Angel did exactly what he said he was going to do. I am very thankful and appreciative. I would recommend everyone to come here when looking for a new car. :)

I wish I could say I had a good experience at Righway, but I did not. I scheduled an appointment after seeing an ad on Facebook. I worked with Angel when I made it to the dealership and he was very nice to work with. He passed my application along to one of their managers, Dave. After running my application, Dave stated he got me an approval but needed an updated paystub. I explained how my job does their payroll (which is NOT in my control) and his response was “welp. I can’t do anything for you then.” We ended up working that out and about an hour or so later, another manager, Mike, brings a form out to test drive a 2018 Kia Optima. While it was a nice car and drove well, it was not in line with what I was looking for. The payments were also way too high for what I would’ve been getting ($571/month for a 2018 with 98k miles). I notified Mike of this and he passed the message along to the other managers. A 3rd manager, Ramses, was nice but sooooo pushy and kept trying to stick me with the Kia and push the limit I told him that I had for a down payment. This was the final straw as to why I did not leave with a car.
The only reason I gave two stars is because of Angel and Mike, who were very nice and listened to all of the concerns I presented. However I won’t be returning.
Came in to Wright Way today to see some options for a new car. I worked with Mike and he was super nice and very helpful. Explained everything in detail and made sure I understood everything. The whole team was very nice. You feel the warm friendly atmosphere there. So ended up leaving With a newer car and I’m super happy! Thanks Mike and everyone at Wright Way!
